A good college with okay campus but good opportunities.

Placements: Only 0.2% of people get accepted into government medical college for MBBS. After undergrad, one has to do post-graduation and residency, and then they can practice medicine. They can earn about 9.6 -12 LPA. There are many branches in this course to choose from.

Absolutely satisfied with the college fee, placement, internship and the study.

Placements: Overall, 30% of students enrolled in our college. Outside the college, there are various opportunities for students to get placements. We get opportunities in various hospitals, including government sectors. The internship is provided by the college and the stipend we get ranges between INR 8,000 and INR 10,000. The top role offered in my course is laboratory technician. We can open our lab and also become lecturers.

Really good infrastructure and facilities and they will improve so as good for college.

Placements: 200 students are allotted in one batch. No package is offered in my course. No companies are recruiting for the MBBS course. Internships are compulsory for every student and are not required by any company. They are available within the college. Every college provides opportunities for students to improve their skills.

Good college at this time.

Placements: This is a medical college. You find companies here. But yes, you can get employed directly after your MBBS in your college itself and get a hefty salary of Rs 75,000, working as a casualty medical officer. Other options include working as a house officer in the department of your choice with a reduced salary of Rs 45,000.

It's a very good college.

Placements: About 70% of students were placed. The highest salary package was 4 LPA. No companies came here. Recruiters were hospitals. No stipend was provided in paramedical courses.

It is good in terms of academics, but the infrastructure needs to improve.

Placements: There are no such things as placements in medical colleges. After 4 years, we have to do a compulsory 1-year internship in our hospital. Our hospital gets a very high patient inflow, which is very good for interns. We get Rs. 11,000 per month as per MUHS rule.

Good news: you don't need to crack NEET for the B.Sc Operation Theatre (OT) course at IGMC Shimla. This is a 3-year medical tech course that focuses on anesthesia and OT techniques. You just need to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admissions are either merit-based or done thro
