Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering offers 150 seats to its BSc Aviation programme. This degree at the undergraduate level is set to provide the students with great knowledge of aviation science, operations of aircraft and the regulatory space of the air transport industry. The B.Sc. Aviation programme blends academic knowledge with exposure at the field to help the students establish a solid foundation for airline pilots, airport managers, aviation managers, ground operations, flight operations, cargo management, aeronautical officers, and instructors.
The college offers a BSc (Hons.) in Aviation for four years, BSc in Aviation for three years, a BSc in Aviation + AME in Avionics for three years, and AME in (Aeroplan Turbine-Mechanical) + BSc in Aviation for three years. To get admission into these courses, candidates are required to complete their higher senior secondary from the PCM stream. Additionally, candidates must have acheived a minimum aggregate of 50%.
The institute offers BSc and AME courses at the UG level on the basis of merit. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college and apply online to register for candidature. Admission to the respective courses would require for the candidates to secure a minimum aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. In addition to this, candidates must qualify the Medical Fitness test that will require a physical fitness certificate and a no colour blindness certificate.
Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering admissions 2025 are open online. Till now, no schedule has been released by the institute.
