The placement scenario in this particular branch of chemical engineering is very poor, where only three to four students get placed in mass recruiting companies such as Infosys, etc.

The civil life of a student of AKTU.
Placements: The placement for civil engineering was negligible. The higher offers were not usually available for civil students. The average salary was 4–5 LPA, and it could be stretched up to 8 LPA. Most roles offered were site manager positions. The companies that came were L&T, NALCO, etc. Internship programs were available after the 2nd and 3rd years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the civil department was not very strong. The course was somewhat outdated. Wi-Fi was available, and labs were good but not very hygienic. The library was the most spacious and the largest area on the whole campus. The hostel was good but looked weak from the outside. Different types of rooms were available. The mess was okay.
Faculty: Faculty members were mixed. Some were experienced, and some were new. But all of them had proper knowledge and dedication in their respective field. The course curriculum was okay. The semester exams were okay, but the practicals were quite challenging. The assignments were very heavy. The pass percentage of the department was around 75%.
Other: If you get enrolled, you should prepare for GATE, SSB, and other competitive exams.

If you work hard yourself, this college offers enough good opportunities.
Placements: More than 60 percent of people are placed via on-campus placements. Byju's, TCS, and Cognizant are some notable top recruiting companies. Although students also get jobs for SWE or SDE roles at companies like Google, Microsoft, BNY, Tomato, and Amazon, it is a bit rare. Many students here are also interested in the GATE exam for further studies or PSU jobs.
Infrastructure: Girls' hostels are well built, while it is a bit tough to say about the boys' hostel. Hostels are neat and cleaned regularly. A committee exists for managing the mess, which is run by students themselves. The college is located among trees and is well built, so hallways and classrooms are equally airy. Computer labs are well-equipped with air conditioning.
Faculty: Teachers are amazing and well-qualified. In some subjects, students have to study hard. Semester exams are at a slightly higher level than what is taught in classrooms, so thorough practice is needed. I don’t think most colleges in India alone make you industry-ready. The pass percentage is around 99-100%.

Average placements with good campus facilities.
Placements: About 60 percent of students got placed from our batch. The average package is around 3 LPA-4 LPA while the highest is around 8 LPA. Many students got internship opportunities. Top roles offered are trainer and entry-level positions depending on the course specialisation.
Infrastructure: Our college staff provides all the facilities. The college Wi-Fi is always available. Labs are also available in this college. The infrastructure is very good. This college provides free Wi-Fi, a free library, and free lab. The college canteen is also budget-friendly with all the food.
Faculty: Teachers are good. I think the college is good for studying. The teaching quality is also good. I think that no semester exams are difficult because the college teachers' teaching techniques are good.

Good college life with all facilities.
Placements: About 70 percent of students get placed this year. The highest package is 30+ LPA, the minimum is 3.2 LPA for Civil Engineering, and the average is around 7 LPA this year. Top recruiters include Microsoft, and 50–60 percent of students got internships. Top roles are Software Engineer in CSE, and core branches also have specific roles.
Infrastructure: All labs have equipment and are working, except some labs like ECE and Electrical Engineering. The rest are good but not all are AC; some departments like Mechanical and Chemical Engineering have AC. The hostel also has good food. All sports and game clubs are active.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful. They have great experience in their fields. They make your curriculum relevant for placements and industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit tough, but if you study for one week before, you can easily pass. Attendance criteria are also strict.
Other: The best thing is placements. Faculty will improve, I think events and fests are also held regularly.

IET Lucknow (College Review).
Placements: 28/77 students placed last year in mechanical, 44/88. The highest package is not publicly available, but the average package is around 6-7 LPA. Overall, the highest package was 54 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS and Wipro. 40% of students get internships in my branch. Some internships are paid, but some are unpaid.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okayish. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel only, cold water is provided. Food is good, the building is not very good, and the canteen is also good. No medical facilities inside the hostel. A basketball court is inside the hostel. The hostel has RO water. Every floor has geysers.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is good. The course is like that taught in NITs and IITs. Semester exams are quite difficult, but not very difficult. Almost 90% of students pass their exams easily. Those who do not study may not pass the exam.
Other: I didn't choose the electrical branch, but I got it from counselling. Faculty members should be more qualified. Labs could be better. Events take place from time to time, including fests. Connectivity is good, and scholarship criteria allow qualified students to get scholarships very easily. Many extracurricular activities are available.

M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2027

College has great placement and experienced teachers, and there is a big ground area.
Placements: My course is M. Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. From the last batch in my college, student placements are around 95 percent, and the highest package is around 50 LPA, with the average being 7 to 10 LPA. The top role offered in my course is data engineering by the company Wipro.
Infrastructure: Facilities in IET are very good. Wi-Fi is available for the students and faculty members. There are a large number of classrooms and a library. The quality of the hostel is very good. The food available in the mess is very good and tasty. Sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: For the purpose of exams and curriculum, the teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They have experience and deep knowledge about the subjects. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate. Teachers are helpful for exams and also helpful in research and all other things.
Other: I chose the course M. Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data because, in today's era, Artificial Intelligence is more in demand, and we gain knowledge about the course. Pride in the college is very good. There are fests happening every year, quarterly I think. Sports events also happen. In February, the main fest called Encore takes place.
