Overview

The CLAT 2027 registrations will begin on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium will open the CLAT 2027 application window on August 1, 2026. Candidates must note that the CLAT Exam Notification will be released first. It will carry all important details regarding the CLAT Exam 2027. Candidates must complete the CLAT Registration 2027 on or before the last date. The CLAT Exam Date 2027 is likely to be December 6, 2026.

CLAT 2027 Application Form Date

The application process is common for 5-year integrated and 1-year LLM programs. The minimum CLAT eligibility criteria for admission to the 5-year law program in 2027 are 10+2 pass with a minimum of 45 per cent marks. For LLM program, the minimum requirement is a 3-year or 5-year LLB pass with a minimum of 50 per cent marks. Relaxation in minimum marks applies to SC/ST candidates. The CLAT 2027 application fee is INR 4,000 for general and unreserved candidates. The CLAT Exam Fees for SC and ST candidates is INR 3,500.

Q:   Can I fill CLAT Application Form offline?
A: 

No, there is no such provision given by the Consortium to fill out the application form offline. Candidates must complete filling the CLAT Application Form 2027 on or before the last date. You can only fill out the application form online. The form will be considered submitted only if you pay the fees.

Q:   What is the last date to fill CLAT Application Form 2027?
A: 

The Consortium has not announced the last date to submit the CLAT Application Form yet. However, once the application process starts it mostly remain opens for three months. This gives candidates sufficient time to complete it and submit. 

Q:   When CLAT Application Correction Window 2027 will open?
A: 

The Consortium will open the correction window once the registration process is over. Candidates must note that this is their last chance to edit their already submitted CLAT application form.

CLAT 2027 Admit Card Date

Candidates can access the admit card by entering their login details. The CLAT 2027 admit card is a mandatory document for candidates to appear in the exam.The Consortium will release the CLAT Admit Card 2027 at least 15 days before the exam. 

How to Download CLAT Admit Card 2027?

Candidates can download the admit card for CLAT 2027 through these steps
  • Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  • Enter your registered mobile number and password.
  • Click on the Login button.
  • Click on the Download Admit Card.
  • Download and save the hall ticket.

Q:   How to make changes in CLAT Admit Card?
A: 

There is no option to make changes in the CLAT admit card. Details printed on the candidate's hall ticket will be final and non-editable. Incase, there is any error in the details mentioned on the CLAT admit card, like name or roll number of the candidate., etc. then that can be rectified by contacting the CLAT help desk.

Q:   Will Consortium send CLAT Admit Card via post?
A: 

No, the Consortium does not send the CLAT admit card by post and candidates have to download it online. Students who will appear for CLAT must download the admit card online as soon as it is released and not delay it until the last moment. Candidates are advised to take multiple printouts and check the details printed on the CLAT admit card carefully.

CLAT 2027 Exam Date

CLAT Exam will be held in pen and paper mode. The offline-based exam will be conducted in 140 CLAT examination centres across the nation. Candidates must note that the question paper for UG courses will carry a total of 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs including GK and Quantitative Techniques.

Q:   Is CLAT syllabus difficult?

The CLAT syllabus is considered challenging due to its comprehensive, passage-based nature. Candidates will have to solve the questions within two hour time limit for 120 questions. The syllabus is tough and exam is difficult to crack.

The Consortium will release the CLAT Answer Key in two phases: First Provisional and Later Final Answer Key. The CLAT 2027 Final Answer Key will be released based on the objections received on the provisional answer key.

How to Check CLAT 2027 Result?

The result for the CLAT exam can be checked through these steps

  • Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  • Login using the Registration Number and Password 
  • Under Result tab, click on the View Score Card tab.
  • Your result/ scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout of result PDF to refer it at the time of counselling registration, and seat allotment process.

CLAT 2027 Counselling Date

Counselling and seat allotment is the final stage of CLAT admission process, wherein all candidates who qualify for the law entrance exam will be able to participate in CLAT counselling. The counselling and seat allotment process will be centralised and completely online. Through counselling, candidates are allotted seats in respective courses and NLUs based on merit. The CLAT Counselling Dates 2027 will be released along with the result. The counselling process includes the following steps:

No, CLAT is not compulsory to take admission in Ishaan Institute of Law. The institute offers admission into the courses such as LLB, BA LLB and LLM based on the merit achieved by the candidates in their last qualifying exam.
