It is an average college.
Placements: Placements are not provided on campus but students are provided information about off-campus placements. More than 60% of students get internships in our college. Some students get jobs at the beginning of 3rd semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good as it is relocated to a new place for some reason. The girls' hostel is in the same building. The location of our college is very good with its surroundings. After 2 to 3 years, our college will relocate to a new building which is in progress.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified and helpful. The pass percentage is good. Exams are conducted very strictly. Our college tries its best to enhance extracurricular activities among students.
Other: Fests, alumni meetings, and all the functions are organised in our college. Our college has value for money as the college fee is very affordable.

Faculty members are good, but there was some mismanagement during 2018 placements.
Placements: Placements in college are good as it is a government college. But in the field of marketing, there are many options to choose a company. The placement cell is working with some consultants. This year, some of our friends got placed in Vishal Super Stop. Also, Students also got placed in other companies like Faction Consulting. Overall, it is a place where you can gain experience about GD and PI which will help you.
Infrastructure: The lovely auditorium and computer lab come to our mind as we talk about the infrastructure. Boys hostel is recently opened. All government colleges have the same infrastructure. There are some issues when it comes to classrooms like the projector is not working. Wi-Fi facility is not available. Books are always available in the library, and there are no sports and game facilities available. Our new hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers in college are very helpful and friendly. Most of the teachers are UGC NET qualified. They also help us to get jobs and summer internships. They also provide placement training to us. There are 2 sections every year, and different teachers take classes accordingly.
Other: Fests of college are conducted off-campus. An annual function is conducted by the college.

A brief description of my experience at IMIT.
Placements: Placements of my seniors were quite good. Companies like Oppo, Everest, Ways to Capital, Talent Corner, Vishal Mega Mart, Spandan, etc., visited and recruited many students from our college. Salary provided to all the selected candidates is impressive. The highest salary offered was Rs. 32,000 per month and the lowest was approximately Rs. 11,000 per month. Internships are provided according to the choice of students. There is a placement cell, and it is more beneficial as it strengthens our confidence and gives more courage to give our best performance.
Infrastructure: We have a 3-storeyed building with two campuses. All the classrooms are well-maintained with lights and fans. Wi-Fi facility is provided to students in the college. A library is available in the college, and the sports and games facilities are good. There is a girls' hostel with a capacity of 64 students. I haven't faced any problem during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are highly qualified, knowledgeable, friendly, and always helpful to students. Both digital and classroom teaching methods are used to teach. We get industry exposure during the 2nd semester. The course curriculum was very much effective for us.

This is a good college with less course fee.
Placements: This college provides only a few on-campus placements, but off-campus placements are also available. This year more than 30 students got placed in different companies with good packages. There is also a pre-placement training programme for the students to face the interviews.
Infrastructure: This college provides a very good environment to study. There are many classrooms and are well-furnished. The Wi-Fi facility is also available to the students. Well-maintained computer labs are there in the college. A very good library is also available. There is also a well-maintained bathroom and toilets for boys and girls.
Faculty: There are many faculty members for each subject. The teachers in the college are very friendly, helpful and coordinate the students in studies. The teachers in the college are well-qualified. Two types of teaching methods are available, one is through a projector, and the other one is blackboard teaching. Industrial exposure is provided to the students. MBA MCA M.Tech courses are also available in this college.
Other: Many festivals are organised in this college. This college also provides scholarships to eligible students.

Other: It's the cheapest MBA College in India. There are sufficient classrooms along with computer lab. Library provides 4 books per semester. Hostel facility is available. There are less number of permanent faculty. But college arranges guest faculty for every subject.

It was a great college, & you can create a new life here. This is the best place to do your Masters.
Placements: Minimum 45% of students are placed, and the highest package is 4 LPA, while the lowest package is 2 LPA. 100% of students got internships. Top roles offered are HR, Marketing, and Finance. The recruiting companies are local companies and other brand companies. The percentage of people who got very good marks is high.
Infrastructure: The computer lab, classrooms, library, and hostel facilities are excellent, with Wi-Fi. The hostel facility is great for both boys and girls. The canteen food is better than in hotels. You can find almost all books in the library.
Faculty: The faculty are the best in this region. They are very friendly and cooperative. They prepare students for companies through personal development courses, with 100% pass rates. They also provide extra courses to prepare students for the corporate sector.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be an HR manager, and the college can be better by giving more opportunities for company visits. They also do extracurricular activities.

Good option for a government college with less fees.
Placements: Placement is average considering this is a government college,but off campus placements are available. The students get notified about the placements through the placement cell. This year i think the placement opportunities were better for the marketing field. There is also a pre placement training programme available.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is not that good. Though the classrooms and the labs are good enough for a government college, the campus needs a lot of work. There is a common library for both MCA and MBA dept. As for the hostels, both the boys and girls hostel are close to the college and in good condition. Wi-Fi is available in both the hostels. The boys hostel is much bigger than the girls hostel as their strength is also more. Food quality is decent in both the hostels.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good , teachers are well qualified and helpful. Students are provided with sufficient course materials and assignments for each subject. Any doubt regarding any subject is looked upon by the HOD through the class representative.

Best for placement and really good infrastructure with very good facilities.
Placements: 80% of students are placed in various corporate sectors in Odisha and out of Odisha this year so if you want to do a corporate job then come and take admission here. Many companies came to IMIT and many of our students got jobs with salary starting from 20k to70k.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi networks are available. The hostel has the best facilities and it is newly built. There is a mess available for food. A big library is also available for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced in all subjects. So don't worry about the study. Teachers are very helpful and working hard for students. The quality of teaching is very good. It also makes students to ready for industry.
