Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) + Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2024

One of the greatest experiences with lots of great friendships and memories.
Placements: Well, I'd say that people are placed in the MBA phase of the course, and I exited after the BBA phase, but they do provide placement opportunities to everyone and make sure that everyone is placed with a guarantee of 9 LPA. Well, the highest package was 30 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA, and the average lies around 13 LPA. Well, we had companies like Deloitte, Bank of America, Reliance Limited, Fund TX, JP Morgan, and TCS. Well, getting internships was a mandatory aspect of our course, which was the responsibility of the placement committee.
Infrastructure: I would say the infrastructure in Nirma was top notch; they had smart classrooms, and they had big classrooms with ACs. The campus is quite huge and lush green with all kinds of sports facilities, such as football and cricket grounds, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, and enough lawns to host various events. I'd say the quality of hostels is quite good and hostel food is quite good, with them providing laundry and mess facilities and they have a doctor's clinic within the campus
Faculty: Yes, there are a few professors who, in fact, are quite helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable enough to impart the required wisdom and impart practical knowledge along with the theoretical study. Yes, I feel the course curriculum was very diverse, with all kinds of fields for anyone to explore and determine our interest, along with tutorial sessions for specific courses, and the rigour does make us ready for the corporate world. Well, we had a trimester system, and the term-end examinations (TEE) were very rigorous with practically no gap between the examinations. Well, the pass percentage for the TEE exams was 40%.
Other: Well, I come from the 2020-21 Covid batch, so when I got the offer from Nirma, I was thrilled because I was familiar with Ahmedabad, and the reviews I received from my peers and certain other people made me choose Nirma over the other offers I had of St. Joseph's College and OP Jindal. Well I feel the structure, the inclusivity, the drama, the stress and you pulling it together was something I really cherished. Well I think they could have restructured the examination system since we had a trimester system; the attendance policy was too rigorous, which was 85%, which didnt give us so much space to be liberating. Well there were so many events that used to take place, like: 1. Genesis (Cultural Committee fest) 2. Invictus—the sports event 3. Cricshetra by Khelnayak commitee 4. Garba Night 5. Social drives by the social committee—Mavericks 6. Bollywood Night by Ritayan Committee 7. Poltergeist by Ritayan 8. Freshers party organised by Abhivyakti

Be the best with a top university.
Placements: Placements are quite debatable. The university placement cell is working hard to place each student in a good organization. Some students are not placed due to various reasons. About 60% of students were placed last year with an average package of 9 LPA, and the highest package is 23 LPA. Internship opportunities are offered in very high numbers by companies like JPMC, ICICI, Healthark, and many more; however, the majority of them are unpaid.
Infrastructure: The campus is good, but some parts of the infrastructure require maintenance and renovation. A good amount of construction is still ongoing under Nirma University, which has multiple colleges, leading to a large crowd. The college has 22 clubs, so we don't feel alone. Wi-Fi is provided to everyone, and the classrooms and library are spacious and equipped with all necessary facilities. Hostel accommodation is compulsory for the MBA program; rooms are shared by three students and come with basic amenities. The mess serves pure vegetarian food, and non-vegetarian food is not allowed in the hostel. The sports ground is not very good.
Faculty: The strictness of the teachers is high; master’s teachers need to have a friendly attitude towards students. More assignments and written work are given, but they need to focus on practical applications. Teaching is decent, as they mostly read from PPTs and cover the declared syllabus. The course is well-structured, helping to develop our overall personality and making us good planners and recruiters. The semester is difficult to clear; many things are required to pass internal exams and the term-end exam, both of which need good marks to be eligible for placement.

Nirma University Review - A decent experience.
Placements: 100% of students were placed in my college. The highest package offered is of 30LPA and the lowest is 8LPA. Top recruiting companies in my college are JP Morgan Case and Co., Morgan Stanley, TATA AIG, ICICI Bank and Infosys. Last year, 100% of the students got internships from the top recruiting companies mentioned before. Top roles offered in the course is of Financial Analyst and Marketing Analyst.
Infrastructure: The Wi-fi facility is available across the campus 24/7. All the rooms in the hostel, college classrooms, labs and library are fully air-conditioned. The infrastructure of the whole campus is decent and lush green. The quality of food in the mess is okay and at the canteens it is fairly good for the price. Nirma Health Centre provides basic medical and ambulance facilities for the students with one doctor always available on campus. For sports, basketball ground, cricket ground and badminton courts are available, and for the games, indoor table tennis, chess and carrom boards are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and were very helpful during the entire semester. The teaching quality is very professional and extremely insightful through real-life example sharing by them. The curriculum is highly relevant and obviously makes the student industry ready by not only providing theoretical knowledge but also helping in gaining other useful skills including time management and team management. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate and the passing percentage of the batch is approximately 98%, hardly students get a back year.
Other: I chose this course because it provides hands on knowledge about relevant industrial concepts prevailing in the country which makes you corporate ready. The best thing about the course is that it makes the students gain knowledge about every relevant department of the business right from the basics. The things I would wish to improve about the course is its less practical exposure to the corporate world while learning, and more focus on the exams. The crowd during the events and fests on campus is fairly excellent. There are 27 clubs and committees in the college which organise various extracurricular activities throughout the year.

LIFE AT NIRMA UNIVERSITY great faculty members and staff amazing infrastructure .
Placements: I am currently in 2nd year so I have not been placed yet but I know that MBA students get 100% recruited with companies like tata, deloitte, deutsche, wipro, TCS, infosys, mahindra, zydus and many more. Las year the highest package in MBA was 30LPA and avg. Package was 12.20LPA. Internships are mandatory in each year. In BBA phase, after 1st year we have to do social internship at a NGO. In 2nd and 3rd year we have to do corporate internships and with the facility of stipend. You can either be placed by college or take private internship.
Infrastructure: For BBA phase boys hostel is not provided, so we have to reside in nearby PG and hostels, but in MBA hostel in campus is compulsory. Girls have amazing hostel facilities with parlor, gym, night canteen, and sitting areas. The infrastructure is excellent with 4 hostels, multiple libraries filled with every subject content available and 1 mess, and 3 other canteens which have all sorts of dishes available. There is a medical center in the campus for any kind of attention required. Sports facilities are particularly brilliant with massive cricket and football ground, practice nets, table tennis, chess and carrom, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, and a sports complex under process.
Faculty: The professors are excellent with immense experience from multiple institutions and have multiple professional degrees. Their teaching methods are very practical and according to GenZ. The courses ranging from Statistics to economics to organizational behaviour helps imbibe the required management skills in us. The semester exams are pretty tough but can be cracked easily with practice. The passing % is 40%.
Other: I chose this integrated course because it facts as safety after BBA if you are not able to go in your choice of college after (if) giving CAT then you always have the confirmed open option about this college. Events and fests like aarohan, invictus, crickshtra, supercup, NUZEAL, happen around the year, ranging from sports to co- curricular like art, dance and music.
