The college is nice, and the placement facilities are very useful for becoming a better nurse.
Placements: 160 students are there, and all are studying B.Sc. Nursing. The package is 7 lakh, and the internship is at the Malabar Cancer Centre and other hospitals, such as General Hospital Thalassery and District Hospital Kannur. After four years, the placement is at the Malabar Cancer Centre itself.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very nice, with the availability of Wi-Fi, and labs are present, such as the computer lab, nutritional lab, and advanced clinical lab. The hostel facilities are nice, and there is a badminton court. The food is provided properly, and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. There are professors, assistant professors, lecturers, and assistant lecturers present, and they specialize in several departments, including medical-surgical, pediatrics, and OBG. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is above 50%.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Nursing because of the advancement in the medical field and the opportunities for nurses in abroad countries. I am very grateful to treat patients as a form of social work as well. There is a need to improve sports and extracurricular activities to a higher level.
