The BTech in Marine Engineering develops the understanding of the creation, operation, and maintenance of buildings and vehicles in and around water bodies. After completing graduation, students can either opt for further studies or build their career path by working in Marine companies. IMI grants admission to BTech Marine Engineering depending on the performance of a candidate in IMU-CET examination. The BTech course is spread across eight semesters and is inclusive of subjects such as Marine Machinery, Naval Architecture, Thermodynamics, etc. Admission to the BTech course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam and the in-house entrance exam.
