Q:   How can I get admission to MBA course at ITM SLS Baroda University?

Admission to MBA is based on CAT/ CMAT score. Additionally, candidates must hold bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ EWS) to apply for MBA course. The college is really good. Exams and campus life are also good.
Placements: On the first day of my college, I saw many students in different courses. I am studying BCA from ITM. This year, they have started one summer internship of 1 month and another in the final year which we have to do internships in the last semester. In education, they support us a lot. I just now finished my summer internship and we are asked to find internships on our own.
Infrastructure: I lived in the city only so I never stayed in the hostel. The food is amazing and the mess food is really very good. The canteen is average. Classrooms are big. The college also has a library and one has to issue a library card. We can avail books and notes from it. Labs of the college are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and they are very helpful I must say. The course contains workshops then industry experts come to give a lecture and tell us what the real world is. Exams are good. I think if we study well, we can easily pass exams. There is nothing to worry about exams as they are very easy. Even teachers provide presentations and notes in the college WhatsApp group. All courses are available.
Other: I wish the canteen food to be good and also the Wi-Fi (it does not work well).

We have good infrastructure. Event is very good. Bus facility is available, hostel rooms are good.
Placements: Students are not placed yet as we are the 2nd batch, and 1st batch is in 3rd year. Our course is 4.5 years. As I told you, seniors are the 1st batch, they are in the 3rd year now. In our university, the highest package is 13.5 LPA for batch students. We have a compulsory internship for 6 months.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good at the college. I am in the physiotherapy department. We don't have Wi-Fi connection in class but on campus we have Wi-Fi. In hostel also every floor has Wi-Fi. About canteen, we have two canteens, one is Gajibo and 2nd is Tea Post. Mess is different for hosteller. Games are available at any time. We have a hospital on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very useful and knowledgeable. They are young but very energetic. They help us with hostel issues also. Course is good, it does make students industry-ready. We have a yearly pattern so we enjoy full year and then we study. We have 3 exams in January internal in July prelims and in August final exam.
Other: Physiotherapy is best as a physio you can treat people so I chose it because of its great scope. I feel we can add more clinical knowledge. We have 2 big events, one is fresher, also we have sub events like pre Navratri, DJ party, and 2nd is Illuminati which is 1 week event. With 1 concert this year we had Rashmeet Kaur in concert at Illuminati. We have 100 plus competitions like fashion shows to sports.

If you want to become an extrovert from being an introvert, you should join here.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is 80%. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Many students received internship offers from companies like Motilal Oswal, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Westside by Aditya Birla Group for roles such as financial manager, assistant officer, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very beautiful. The canteen is surrounded by nature, and the whole college is set amidst beautiful trees and plants. In summer, we enjoy cool breezes from the trees. We have 33 canteens, each offering different food. However, the internet connection is very poor, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work well. We do have libraries and different buildings for various departments. I am a day scholar so I have no idea about the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are not at all helpful. They are very rude. Though they are qualified, they lack the knowledge and skills to teach effectively. The course is relevant and prepares students for the industry, but the semester exams are quite difficult, and I do not know the pass percentage.
Other: I applied to a government college, but unfortunately, I couldn't get admission, and that is why ITM SLS Baroda University is my second choice. There are a lot of things that need improvement, starting with the teachers. Additionally, the food in the canteen is not good, especially in one of the canteens, which does offer good food.

Education-wise, I rate it 8 out of 10.
Placements: I am a second-year physiotherapy student. From my point of view, the university has really good placements. My seniors get placed in good organizations.
Infrastructure: ITM has an amazing campus life with the best faculty. The classrooms, libraries, and labs are very good. There is an issue with the network connection, but the infrastructure of the college is good. As I am a day scholar, I don’t know much about the hostel. However, I have heard from my classmates that the rooms are very good and the canteen food is okay. The management here is somewhat strict, which is necessary for our benefit. The college also has its hospital, which is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. Faculty we have is friendly to us. The practical knowledge they provide is really good. They take us to different labs and hospital visits. The exams are based on the government syllabus.
Other: I chose this course because of its growing demand. ITM organizes almost every programme related to dance, music, study, and extracurricular activities. The surroundings are also good. It’s just that the college is located deep inside the village, so there is a bit of a network issue. As per my first-year experience, it is overall really good.

Placements: 65% of students were placed in our college. The top recruiting companies for our course were TCS, L&T, and others. The highest package is approximately 20 lakhs, the lowest package was 5 lakhs, and the average package ranged from 9 to 10 lakhs at our college. Additionally, 75% of students were able to secure internships.
Infrastructure: I am a BCA student at this college, which offers a variety of IT subjects, including programming languages and communication skills, along with guidance on interview preparation. The hostel is well managed and equipped with good facilities, such as air-conditioned rooms and attached washrooms.
Faculty: The faculty members at this college teach at levels ranging from basic to advanced for better student understanding. There are two faculty members in each classroom, which effectively addresses student queries. During non-teaching time, faculty members are also available to answer questions.
Other: The campus, along with its atmosphere, creates a vibrant college life that resonates well with students. Numerous events are held, and the college also offers significant gifts and scholarships.

About ITM (SLS) Baroda University.
Placements: About 90% of students got placement in the year 2023. More than 90% of companies visited University Campus. The highest package and average package offered in 2023 were 23.50 LPA and the lowest 4 LPA, respectively. Infosys, Amazon, Samsung, Polycab, and many more companies had visited.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice and cozy. The campus is covered with greenery and beautiful architecture. The college has Lotus Pond and Sitting View, a place where students hang out the most. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. Labs and classrooms are well maintained. All the devices and instruments are in great working condition. Hostel facilities are available, which are also well maintained, unlike other colleges hostels. There are two canteens; one is tea post. Both the canteens have affordable and tasty food. The college itself has a medical department, so no worries in case of emergency. A basketball court, badminton court, and gym are also available.
Faculty: Every department has great faculty members. They are highly qualified in their respective fields. They are always available for students for help, solving queries. The course curriculum is relevant, and also there are many teaching seminars, workshops, and events happening along with the course, so there's always an opportunity for your interest. Also, there are mainly four examinations in a semester, which are moderate to hard for qualifying.
