Placement was not good this time, but infrastructure is quiet good.
Placements: This year, only 50% of students were placed. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included IVP, Publicis Sapient, Uneecops, and Busy Infotech. Only 50% of students got placed this time, mostly in technical roles. The top roles offered this time were in testing and development.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, but it is too small. We have a library, and it is quite good. Wi-Fi is also available, but students can use it on only one device, either a laptop or a mobile. The classrooms are good and fully air-conditioned. JIMS doesn't have a hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is good and helpful. Yes, they are qualified, but they don't have much practical knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant. However, the current curriculum is not sufficient to meet industry requirements. That's why many students face problems in interviews.

Decent enough college, don't expect something extraordinary.
Placements: 80% of the students got placed. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA. Most roles included SWE, Developed, tester, Marketing and business development roles. The top companies that came were Yamaha, Publicizes Sapient, Indus Valley Partners, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was decent enough. Canteen, sports and games, and Wi-Fi are available. I am based in Delhi so I didn't opt for the hostel. But other facilities and infrastructure were decent enough for your educational journey to be complete without any problems.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable, and most of the staff was pretty supportive. The teaching quality of most of the teachers was very good. If you pay attention in the classes, then you are going to learn a lot. Semester exams were decent to moderately difficult.

Good college providing good faculty and infrastructure with average placement.
Placements: JIMS provides placement opportunities to all students. Companies started visiting our campus in August. The average package offered by companies for software developer roles is 5-6 LPA. Prominent recruiters like Josh Technology, To The New, and Indus Valley Partners visited our college for on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. We have all the necessary facilities required for MCA students, such as well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. For sports, we have some space in the basement for table tennis, carrom, and chess. There are also playgrounds for cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and supportive. They always try to make students feel comfortable and ambitious. The faculty is always ready to help students in every aspect. Semester exams are manageable if you attend all the classes and prepare well.
Other: There should be more focus on technical skills instead of a bookish course, as MCA is a very technical course.

Build educated youth for the growth of India.
Placements: I believe that if you are capable enough and have the right skills, no one will stop you from getting a job at a big MNC company. Some companies that visit our campus are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Amazon, mostly in Noida. The highest package is 18 LPA, and the average is 4.8 LPA for over 60 percent of students placed on campus. There are many companies that offer internships, but some give a stipend of up to 8,000 rupees.
Infrastructure: The college campus is small but at the start, freshmen party, alumni meet, all are done. I think regular infrastructure maintenance is necessary. Students and teachers shared the same washrooms, which was not good. Labs are very small; not a whole class fits in one lab. The canteen area is small as well as expensive. The library and classrooms are good. I am not a hosteller, but I frequently visit hostels in a single room in which a fan, table, bed socket, and hangers are provided. The food is good; I taste the same masala used every time.
Faculty: I must say some teachers are based; they give more marks to students who keep buttering them all the time. Teachers are also M.Tech. and Ph.D.-qualified. Exams are given three times per semester: a class test, a midterm exam, and a final exam. 10-20-70 are marks for three exams. Separate passing marks in each exam are 4-7-27 for clearing the subject.
Other: I am a Delhi resident and all my friends took admission here, so I also took admission.

A great college with good curriculum support and great placement support.
Placements: I have completed my MCA degree in year 2022 with a batch strength of 102. Around 70-80% of students were got placed with a range of package from 3.5lpa to 6lap. Though there were offers for higher package as well, like of 9lpa but none were able to clear the entrance exam from my batch. Reputed companies such as Nagarro, To The New, Josh Technologies offered the job to our batch. 95% of my batch mates got internship in more than 45 companies. Roles that were being offered by the companies were mostly Software Developer. Some were frontend developer and full stack developer also.
Infrastructure: Classes and labs were completely air conditioned and equipped with desktops, projectors and screens for even online classes. IoT labs provide necessary gadgets to perform practicals. Whole college is Wi-Fi enabled and a separate MCA library is there. For refreshing your mind, table tennis, carom and badminton are also available.
Faculty: Faculty is really supportive and provide a lot of informative and knowledgeable content online and offline both. They provide regular assignments for continuous practice too. Teachers are so qualified that their explanation is really good. Everyone is available all the time to solve your doubts. They provide mock interviews too to make a student industry ready. Semester exams are up to the mark for preparations and they also take internal exams for good preparation.
Other: I chose MCA during lockdown and was very depressed for not having any job in hand then I got to know about IPU and researched that JIMS is the best college for good placements. I got myself admitted and currently I am working in Nagarro as a Software Engineer. They provide full student support either regarding course of corporate industry. Campus crowd is pretty good with a healthy environment. Two cafeteria are present. One open and one indoor. Both fast food and home food is available.
