Faculty members are good enough, but placements are not much in this course.
Placements: 60 percent of the students were placed in JIMS VK, and the highest package is 9-10 Lacs, while the lowest is 2-3 Lacs. The average is 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies in B.J.M.C. are Aaj Tak, NDTV, News 24, etc. 80 to 90 percent of students got internships in different fields. Important roles are anchor, journalism, and manager.
Infrastructure: It is not good enough to have classrooms, and the library's Wi-Fi is not working. The college labs are not good. The hostels are bad in infrastructure, and the facilities in the hostel are also poor. The food cannot even be eaten; it's so disturbing.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified, with Ph.D. well-educated professors. Yes, the course is relevant, and it makes the students ready to handle these industries. The exams are not tough; they are easy to handle, and basic topics are given in the exam sheet.
Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to develop my skills and communication. Confidence is the key role in this course. The best thing they provide is enhancing personality and performance in front of an audience. This course should focus more on events and extracurricular programs. The campus is very small and needs development, particularly the auditorium.

Our college has good and helpful faculty members.
Placements: The highest salary package offered in our course in 2023 was 12 LPA. It was a decent package. Top roles offered in our course are content writing, graphic design, media writing, journalism, and photography.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is above average. Sometimes air conditioners do not work well. All the computers in the lab are in good condition and working. Our college area is quite small but has all the basic facilities like a canteen, library, media rooms, labs, and medical room.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very good and supportive. They provide supporting materials for studies in the form of PPT. The course is very good. In this course, it is compulsory to have internships in the third semester. It provides exposure of industry to students .
Other: I chose this course because it fascinates me a lot. Our college conducts events like Zest, etc. There is a lot of connectivity for the metro. Extracurricular activities are good. In our college, there is a strength of 120 students including both shifts.

Life at JIMS, Vasant Kunj.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is quite good and has improved a lot since the last few years, and the highest packages offered are mostly for BBA students and least for the B.M.C. students. That's a big drawback. But the average package for a B.M.C. student is 6 to 8 Lacs, and in good companies like India Today, News 18, Tv9, etc.
Infrastructure: The biggest drawback of this college is the infrastructure. It is way too small and poor. Therefore, it respects you for enjoying the college life and like bunking, even bunking the classes, and talking about the facilities. It has some good facilities like Wi-Fi and all computers, technologies, etc., but yes, they like some equipment.
Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified and experienced, and they are really helpful towards the students, but some teachers are quite partial, and summer is least interested in teaching and is more interested in other student activities, and the course curriculum is quite easy. It has one internal exam and two semesters each year, that is, one internal and one external, consisting of 40 marks and one external of 60 marks, and then not quite as tough if you studied well.

Our college has excellent placements with managed classrooms and washrooms.
Placements: Many students were given placement opportunities in top companies with great salaries for social media managers and many. Around 90% of placements are provided. Companies like Deloitte hire students.
Infrastructure: Excellent labs and air-conditioning classrooms. Wi-Fi is available on every floor. Library is very well maintained with all the required books. We have an amazing canteen that provides very tasty food. Medical room is also available for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are very well educated and very knowledgeable. Our course is very relevant with all the subjects and makes you industry-ready. Exams are conducted in a very well-mannered way and are easy if you study regularly.
Other: This course is best if you're a creative person and want to explore. There should be more practical teaching in the course.

I am satisfied with its faculty members, but the infrastructure is not good.
Placements: Jagannath international management school holds the best percentage in providing placements to its students in comparison with other top colleges like VIPS and MAIMS. They provide internships in some of the best media houses in the field. There are many internships opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is not that big in comparison with VIPS and MAIMS, but the laboratories and library are two positive from them. The canteen is small. They do not have a playground, but they do organize competitions in different sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best and most experienced in comparison with the Vivekananda Institute of professional studies and Maharaja Agrasen institute of management studies. Some of the faculty members are holding Ph.D. and some are studying for Ph.D. in this college.
Other: JIMS does not have any official fest.

JIMS, Vasant Kunj is really a good college for B.A. (JMC).
Placements: Around 60% were placed in my course. The highest package was 15 Lacs and the lowest was 1 Lacs News channels like Tv9, Sansad tv, canon, etc. Visit the college for placements. 60% students got job in TV9, News, Webnnel, Zee news, etc. Content writer, wedding photographer, product photographer, graphic designer, reporter, editor, etc., are the roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air conditioned, washrooms are clean and sanitary pads are available, Wi-Fi works and library is good. Medical facilities are available in the campus and sports enthusiasts are always welcome. Many completions are arranged inter and intra.
Faculty: Teachers are really qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is really good. Yes, the course make students get ready for industry. They provide ample practical exposure and labs are well-equipped. Community radio station is also there in the campus. Semester exams are average in level and students can easily pass. Practical exposure are given to students.
Other: I like speaking and writing that's why I chose this course. Events and workshops are available every week. I saw change in my confidence and personality after choosing this course.

Absolutely satisfied with the course, and the faculty are the best.
Placements: JIMS Vasant Kunj ensures that everyone gets placed as the faculty share a significant relationship with the people in the industry. Once you enter the third year, you get internship opportunities from the top recruiters like Hindustan Times, Times of India etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, with strong bandwidth. The classrooms are equipped with AC. An A/V lab is available that gives you a TV studio vibe. Worth the mention is the radio lab and JIMS VK Community Radio, and ours is the only college of IP University to have its own Community Radio.
Faculty: You will be treated like a school child in college. The teachers are very friendly and humble. Seminars are hosted every month and lots of co-curricular activities also do take place which help us to enhance our presentation and speaking skills.
Other: The college has very good crowd. We have some of the journalists as our guest faculty. The events are hosted every month. The college has many clubs and societies which help you explore more extracurricular activities.

Yes, at JIMS Vasant Kunj , IPU CET scores are required for admission. While JIMS also conducts its own entrance test, JIMS Entrance Test (JET), IPU CET scores are also considered for specific programs. For management quota admissions, qualifying in the GGSIPU CET is mandatory.
