B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

All about JECRC Foundation.
Placements: I belong to the B.Tech (Engineering) course at the CSE department, and I am a first-year student. The placement percentage is around 80%, and the highest package is 56 LPA off-campus and 28 LPA on campus. The average package is around 6 LPA, and the lowest goes as low as 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: It's on the alright side, the classes don't have any AC, but the ventilation is good, so it's not hot. The hostel is good, but the food is pretty bad, and the warden is strict. There are a lot of permission issues, and the hostel is very strict, they don't provide mattresses either.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The course is somewhat relevant and somewhat not like any average third-tier college. The midterms are on the easier side, and the end sem is harder, but if you study for 1 or 2 weeks, you will do well in any exams represented by college.

Our college is the best for B.Tech and placement.
Placements: 57 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 25 lakh per annum, and the lowest package is 1 lakh per annum from Infosys. For Wipro and Amazon, approximately 25%-30% of students receive internships with an amount of 37 thousand per annum in coding, web development, and software development.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library are all present in my hostel. The best food and fully furnished rooms are provided, along with medical certificate services. Sports like football, cricket, and volleyball are available in my hostel. All games and resources are present.
Faculty: Our teachers are the best and well-versed in our syllabus, and complete the full syllabus ahead of time. The curriculum is relevant, and our exams are very difficult. Our teachers are very helpful in our exam preparation, which helps us achieve higher scores.
Other: I chose B.Tech because I have an interest in math, chemistry, and physics. Through B.Tech, we improve our skills in leadership and communication.

Good campus but boarding study hours.
Placements: In my college, 70 percent of students are placed. The highest package in 2025 is 22 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and HPE. About 30–40 percent of students got internships. Roles offered include software engineer, graphic designer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean with good seating. Some classes have smart boards. Wi-Fi is available in all blocks. A central library is present on campus with all course-related books and a good seating area. The facilities provided in the hostel are average, and mess food quality is also average, not very good. Sports facilities are available, like a cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, and badminton court.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects, but some teachers have bad behavior. The Electrical faculty in the B.Tech course taught in the 1st year is not very relevant. The semester exams are not very difficult, but regular study is needed.
Other: In my batch, we have some good friends, and they enjoy college life.

Good clubs and events, average placements.
Placements: Average placements are around 6 LPA, but you can get better if you work hard because good companies visit this college, like HP and others. So yes, it’s average, but with good companies visiting. Most roles offered are pretty good and enough to start your career if you work, and the alumni network is also good.
Infrastructure: Pretty good infrastructure in the classrooms and labs with very fast Wi-Fi, AC classes, and digital boards. The library is well-equipped with good computers. The hostel has all sorts of facilities, the food is good, and the rooms are clean and big enough for us.
Faculty: Same old curriculum, so nothing new. The teachers are required to teach that, so it is not very helpful, but the teachers teach it well, so it’s no problem. The exams are not that difficult, so you don’t have to worry. The curriculum is not very relevant to current technology.
Other: The events and clubs in this college are pretty good. You will have fun in this college, so I’d say it’s a good deal.

College not value for money, time waste.
Placements: 60–70 percent are placed in my college. The highest package is 52 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is 4–5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Microsoft. Around 60 percent of students got internships in web development, software engineering, data analyst, and management.
Infrastructure: Average facilities were provided. Wi-Fi is available in all blocks. Labs are well maintained and all computers are working. Classrooms are neat and clean with good infrastructure. The library is full of books with a good vibe for study and it is well maintained. You can use books anytime.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified very well and have good knowledge, and the teaching quality is good. I think the college needs to update the 1st-year syllabus. I think students are industry-ready, and the semester exam is not too tough, but you need to study for passing the exam.
Other: I think the college does not satisfy your needs. You need to study hard for IITs. .

College has good bus facility. The highest package offered was in 2023.
Placements: Mostly computer science and engineering students are in the college. The highest package of college is in the CSE branch, which is above 50 LPA. Like Amazon and Flipkart companies come to JECRC. But those who got an internship and placement all did it with their hard work.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre are good. Campus, classroom, labs and library are all neat and clean. And in the library there is free Wi-Fi for PC. Provide good quality food in the mess and canteen. There is a personal space for sports.
Faculty: We are thankful to all teachers who gives us their precious time even after class. Their teaching qualification and knowledge are doubtful. Some of paper was easy, some was moderate, and some was lengthy even the time was short to love overall.
Other: I chose it for a good placement and a better life in future.
