A good college in terms of faculty, facilities, & environment, but should work on jobs & placements.
Placements: Placements are not so good, but we got multiple offers related to internships, short-term courses, workshops, and other extracurricular activities. The college is active in these activities. But usually job placements support more technical and strategic courses.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided are up to the mark and much better than other A+ grade colleges, including computer labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a functional library. The infrastructure is also well maintained, including washrooms, desks and chairs, cleanliness, and hygiene.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have been helpful in regard of exams, practicals, and internals. The curriculum is good for higher academic studies like law, sociology work, and government examinations (civil services). The passing percentage is usually 85-95 of previous batches.
Other: There should be more connectivity regarding jobs. Most of the placements, job opportunities, and internships require a certain type of course, which is not fair to students of other courses.

We really do have good infrastructure.
Placements: There is a separate cell for placements, which helps students go through all opportunities. There are graduate students from our college who are working at NASA. There are students who are working as interns at very big companies. A few have opened their own businesses, and our college conducts workshops regarding their experiences.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The college is working on the infrastructure. A few changes are being made, like new water coolers, air-conditioning, and painting the buildings. We have an air-conditioned library where we can study till evening 5 PM.
Faculty: Each semester we have exams. The college follows certain strict rules for the betterment of education. Only students with above 67% attendance are allowed to give the exams. The rest are not allowed. This system makes students attend the classes and pay regular attention to their studies.
Other: I am in the B.A. programme, so the crowd is there. But our college provides a large number of societies to join. I myself join 3 societies, and it's the best thing I do in college. You gain experience by exploring different colleges in competitions.

Satisfied with the campus life and the English faculty.
Placements: Placements at Janki Devi College are pretty decent. They have a dedicated placement cell that provides career opportunities. Regular internship opportunities with flexible locations are shared with students, and workshops are conducted as well. Around 50%–70% of students in the English Honors course get placed. The top roles offered are in content creation and teaching.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure at JDMC are above average. The classrooms are spacious, and the library, computer labs, and common room for girls are fully air-conditioned. The food in the canteen is safe and tastes good. The library has Kindles and laptops available for our use. We can also issue books every week.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely cooperative. The course is relevant, with workshops that help us enhance our skills. Exams are moderate to difficult and consider all students. Teaching quality is excellent, with great explanations and effective communication.
Other: I chose this course because I have always been fond of literature and reading. The best thing about my course is the cooperative faculty.

Absolutely the best and most beautiful environment.
Placements: As I am new, I don't know much about placements. But from the reviews of seniors, I learned that this college provides the best internships to students, which help them grow. Some students have even gone to foreign countries while in their second year.
Infrastructure: I haven't lived in the hostel, but from the outside, it looks beautiful as well as magnificent. The course is also good, and the infrastructure is my favourite. It has digital boards as well as normal whiteboards. There are fewer fans, which is a negative point, as it gets too hot in the classroom.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful. They teach us complex things in the simplest & easiest way. They are understanding, approachable, & supportive. They pay attention to every student while teaching! Professors are always on time. They never take leave unless it is important. They are very professional.

Worth being in North campus.
Placements: The highest package is 5-8 LPA and the lowest is 2.6 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4-5 LPA. Top companies include corporate and consulting organisations like EY, Accenture, Genpact and Concentrix. Top roles include Media, publishing, and content creation.
Infrastructure: We have a language lab which plays a significant role in improving all three important skills like writing ans, grammar, and speaking. Secondly, we have a huge Library which is full of books having vast endorsement for literature. Moreover, we have different societies that are completely dedicated to literature, like Rhetoric Society for English debating, iridescent for writing and shakespeare club and many more.
Faculty: The English department of Janki Devi Memorial College has one of the best faculty setups. They are highly educated and approachable. I guess the curriculum is relevant, and it's so much of use to do Eng Hons, as in the real world you would be able to interact efficiently, and Eng Hons teaches you that.
Other: I chose the course because I love speaking English.

Please do add this college to your bucket list of dream colleges.
Placements: To be honest, the placements here are not what I actually expected. Even though I am in my first year, I see many of my seniors getting really good hiring companies, plus the staff helps and guides them throughout their journey. So for placements, this college is a ten out of ten.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college, oh my god, how can I explain how good, green, dreamy, and aesthetic it is. Plus, there is a whole lot of nursery space for plants as well as birds. Oh my god, the best part is that there are many beautiful types of birds, whether it is sparrows or peacocks.
Faculty: Semesters are difficult, as they have to be. I mean, we are in DU, so we should expect tough competition so that we are competitive enough to tackle tasks that will lead us to a future that is secure and balanced. So yes, academics and everything are hard, but not enough to make you fail.
Other: The activities, especially in the clubs and societies, are very active. Active competitions among universities are the best.
