It is a good campus life in 2023.
Placements: The faculty is good, and there is a placement cell in our college, and one of my friends is on the PR team. He is the head of the PR team, and he must bring many sponsors and placement companies to our college. I cannot say much about placements, but our college offers internships for students in the placement cell get their internships, and they provide internships to many students as well. Companies like Mother Dairy offer industrial visits, and many other companies do the same. The majority of the internships are unpaid.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. There are many plants, flowers, and trees, all well-maintained by the gardeners. The abundant flowers and plants in my college. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, and there are many labs. The library is excellent, and in the library, there is a cell where you can access Wi-Fi and laptops to do your work. There are facilities for physically impaired people, which is a good point. I don’t stay in the hostel, but the food at our college is good.
Faculty: I belong to the history department, and Teachers in my department are cooperative and understanding. Most of the preparation is for exams, and the focus is on book knowledge. No one prepares us for the real world. The course is relevant, and there is so much information in my course. The semester exams are not that difficult, and almost every student passes the exam.
Other: I choose this course because it is helpful for civil exams. I didn’t want this course as my priority. Field trips could be included in our core, as in my history honors, many monuments and places could be studied by visiting them. I am in a girls' college, so the majority of the crowd is female. The fest of our college is okay. Extracurricular activities are not supported that much.

Nice infrastructure and greenery.
Placements: None of my classmates got any kind placement through the college authority. There were no companies who recruit history students in their companies. The percent of placed students was zero. None of us even got any kind of internship at all. No kind of top roles even roles were never offered to us except arranging seminars and all.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and Hostel wise it is good. Canteen of college is not that satisfactory, they need to improve the quality of food there. Labs and Wi-Fi are okay. Classrooms need to be more convenient and clean. Library is good but they need to arrange more and more stuff for Hindi medium students who really struggles while searching for content in their language medium.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and dedicated towards teaching. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant but this course doesnot offers any kind of opportunities. I advice not to choose the course if you want to enter in any kind of field work. But if you want to gain knowledge about history then you should definitely go for this course.

It is a good college in terms of infrastructure, facilities, and placements.
Placements: Placements are good, but not in our course. Students in other courses enjoy placements and have a secure future if they work hard.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Hostels are like homes. They serve proper meals and take care of our needs. The security is also tight.
Faculty: Professors are kind and sweet, but senior professors are strict. Semester exams are not that difficult if someone studies well. The valuation is also lenient.
Other: I like history and want to be a teacher, so I chose this course. Fests and events are also organised by the college, but there are a few things that they should improve.

Review of Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi.
Placements: This college offers great roles. A separate placements cell is also there to provide good placements to students and offers many courses, add-on courses, etc. Studies are good over here, and the staff is also well educated and experienced.
Infrastructure: The building of this college is good. The hostel is well maintained and has enough space to reside around 150-200 girls. The canteen is good and cheap, and many sports activities are also held. Other than that many activities relating to studies and everything is held.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, and supportive. They are well qualified and learned. Exams are moderate. Course and curriculum are very much relevant. The college provides many add on courses also.
Other: In this college, many activities are held.

You will have happiness here.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is satisfactory. During the Covid-19 situation, the placement cell not only takes care of students health but also provided students with various work from home internship opportunities in collaboration with various companies such as PlanetSpark, Dare2Compete and ICICI Bank with salary packages of around 3 LPA-4 LPA. Not only this, but also they offer off-campus placement drives, which are generally conducted by E&Y and D.E. Shaw and Co. Students are hired for the roles like HR, content writer, sales and finance, etc. The highest salary package offered here is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. Almost 40% of the students get placed with decent salary packages.
Infrastructure: The library of our college is pretty awesome with well-equipped technical facilities such as laptops, furnished air-conditioners, good infrastructure and a Wi-Fi facility. You can easily read books or get issued with your college ID card. Our college is well-equipped with smart boards also and has huge rooms with good infrastructure. The hostel is located inside the campus only with a 24x7 Mother Dairy booth facility. Recently after the Covid-19 pandemic, the hostel building was rebuilt with beautiful architecture inside and out of the hostel. The hostel mess is pretty good. The hostel provides a 24x7 medical facility and also arranges various functions, including hostel fests, games, etc. Overall, the hostel is awesome.
Faculty: The faculty members here are very helpful and have a friendly nature. The qualification of the teachers is outstanding. All the teaching faculty members are the best. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the online teaching method is adapted, and it is going pretty well with proper notes and readings provided by the teachers. The awesome factor here is teachers provide PowerPoint presentations for a better understanding of the concept as well. Semester exams are not at all difficult and have a decent passing percentage of only 45% of marks.
Other: I have chosen this course because history is the basis for competitive exams. The main reason for me to prefer this college is that it is not only academically best but also situated in Karol Bagh where you can have quick snacks at very low rates, especially Dolma Aunty Momos and Pasta. This place is considered the hub of a good shopping market. Campus life is pretty good here. The name of the annual fest organised here is Symphony, and it is organised in the month of January. Our college also had various societies according to hobbies and interests like dance, music, writing, debating, etc. Our college provides scholarships in various aspects per year. Our college provides financial assistance to students. There is one society named Gandhi study circle, where they provide mentorship programs.

Satisfied with college atmosphere.
Placements: The placement cell of the society is very good and active. Every student is given this opportunity to explore themselves and be the part of the active recruitment. Most of my friends and seniors were also given this opportunity I'm glad that I choose this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good. And classroom are good they have fans, tubelight and all the other basic things. There is Wi-Fi which you would be accessible when you will be given your identification card. But library is good it has air conditioning.
Faculty: Faculty and staff members of the college is very helpful and motivating They will help you in each and every thing. The college has separate doubt class for the students. Moreover teachers would also help you besides studies and all. So faculty is helpful, moderate.
Other: The college has a lot of society which is very active and amazing . Scholarships are also available for students . And everything is good here.

Infrastructure is not up to the mark. Teachers are good and helpful. No placement kind of thing.
Placements: There is no such thing in jdmc for placement and all. And very rarely it happens that the college provide any kind of internship programme and even if it did, then it is merely certificate based. Usually students have to look on their own to do any internship.
Infrastructure: The outer look of college is really good. The college is very eco-friendly (greenery is all around). But when it comes to inside infrastructure of the college for example classrooms, library, washroom, these are not at all up to the mark. The classrooms are not all well designed, and do not have enough spaces. There is often problem of electricity, water shortages in college, washrooms are also often dirty. About Wi-Fi, then there is facility of Wi-Fi, but has very poor access. Canteen is good but not best, the items that are available is very costly and has very little taste to it.
Faculty: The teachers here of history department are all good and very well qualified. Every teacher has their own unique of teaching. Usually there is no problem in understanding the teacher. Lots of assignment, presentation, trips are conducted to help student in their curricular. Extra tutorial periods are held in which if any student has any doubt, they can clear it. Even if the class strength is around 50's, the tutorial groups are made shorter in number, so that students can easily clear their doubts or any kind of difficulty. Almost all the teachers are quite friendly in nature and are always there to help.
Other: Lots of events are conducted which are beneficial foe students. Seminars are held in every month, and the knowledgeable guests are invited for the exposure to students. Many activities are conducted by the college in many, like debate (intra as well as inter college), writing skills, sport events (intra and inter both). Fests are also organised every year and lots of enjoyable activities are done that help students to showcase their talents. The area around the campus is very peaceful and very helpful for the students who are planning for UPSC as the college is very near to Rajinder Nagar which like a hub for UPSC aspirants.
