In medical education, the term "branch" usually refers to the various specializations or departments within the field of medicine that students can choose for their postgraduate studies (MD/MS) after completing their MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery). A college that moulds you into a hardworking and good clinician.
Placements: My college is a 1962-built institute, so being an old and central institute, it harbours a very large number of patients every day, and being in MBBS, the more patients we see, the more knowledge and experience we gain. If you are a good clinician, you can work anywhere you want.
Infrastructure: We have a lecture theatre for theory classes, labs for all the laboratory skills, and different teaching and seminar rooms for teachers in the hospital wards. The lecture theatre has various technological advancements. A Hostel facility is available, which is quite good. Food is average. Canteens are available.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly skilled, experienced, and very cooperative. Teaching quality is well-structured and highly professional. The course curriculum is based on the newest guidelines of the NMC, and students are required to meet all the criteria. The exams are strictly on the NMC-based pattern.
Other: I chose this course because this was my childhood dream, and frankly speaking, I couldn't think of anything else. It's not an easy course, it's very demanding and time-consuming also.

JNMC: The college of my dreams .
Placements: In MBBS there isn't a concept of placement but yes, for PG almost all the students get a seat in JNMC or other colleges because of the 50% internal seat quota. Many students have cleared USMLE as well and are well settled. The passing rate for NEET PG and INI CET is quite high.
Infrastructure: The campus is small but beautiful. It is connected to JNMCH through a long corridors. The labs are well-equipped. The book bank is quite well-equipped with ample of books. The hostel is good with decent mess food. We have 2 canteens which also provide affordable and good food.
Faculty: The teaching quality is awesome. The teachers are well educated and put in a lot of effort to teach the students. The practical knowledge is inculcated from the first year itself. The exams are quite hard to pass if we don't study properly but it is worth it.
Other: MBBS is a prestigious degree but comes with a loy of responsibility. We have to keep a balance from the start.

Absolutely satisfied with good infrastructure and high teaching standards.
Placements: I am from MBBS 2021 batch (final year batch). I am enrolled in MBBS course, and my batch will pass out in the year 2027. My batch has 150 seats in total. 75 for AMU internal students and the remaining for external students. All seats are open to the general category (no seats reserved). 5 seats are reserved for NRI students.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure at college with well-furnished LTs and experiment labs, and student Wi-Fi available 24X7. There is a good air-conditioned library with a seating capacity of more than 150 with all the latest books and their publications. It has good spacious rooms in a big hostel with 24X7 electricity and water supply. Wi-Fi is available. Mess food is not good but there are tiffin services available. Inter-batch football, basketball, and cricket matches are regularly organised. Facilities for indoor games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with great qualifications. They are very helpful. They provide good teaching quality with detailed topic explanations. Teachers encourage two-way communication. Course curriculum updated to the latest NMC guidelines and CBME-based. It makes students ready to have good medical knowledge and treat common illnesses. Difficulty level is moderate. Pass percentage is more than 95%. Faculty members are nice and supportive.
Other: I chose this course due to its high reputation, good future prospects, and good pay package. Best thing about MBBS is that it is a noble profession, and there is great demand for skilled medical professionals and specialist doctors.

    Infrastructure of college is good.
Placements: There were 150 students until this year, but there is a proposal to increase the number of seats. The average salary package offered was about 12 LPA in hand after MBBS from this college as a junior resident. There are almost 100% of internships as it is compulsory in MBBS. Top role is offered after this course depending on PG branch.
Infrastructure: A Wi-Fi facility is available. Library is very good, which includes the issuing of medical books for a year. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned. Canteen is very bad and unhygienic; even the mess and food quality are not so good, especially for vegetarians. There is no computer lab.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified with very good teaching skills, especially in the clinical branch and have very good clinical exposure. The exams are quite tough, but the intention of most of teachers is that students should pass the examination. Pass percentage is about 80%-90%.

It has good clinical exposure. Our college and hostel life is better.
Placements: I have never seen any students getting a degree from here unemployed or having a less pay scale. Most students opt for post-graduation, and the majority of them get a seat in any specialization. Although very few candidates search for work in a private setup after MBBS and they also get a decent amount.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and students can feel the beauty of nature. Classrooms are air-conditioned, practical laboratories are fine, and demonstration rooms are better because 20-30 students are taught there at a time. The hostel infrastructure is good with a big playground, average canteen, fine dining, and rooms are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. The curriculum is common in all colleges as it is decided by the government. Students do not get much supply in their exams as compared to other colleges in the state. Teachers especially try to improve those students who are lagging in their studies.

Placements: A good number of MBBS pass-outs clear the very difficult PG entrance exam called NEET PG INI and CET for admission in post-graduate courses in prestigious colleges like AIIMS and other best colleges. All the students tend to do internships after their final year.
Infrastructure: Our campus has good and Wi-Fi enabled. The whole university has Wi-Fi. The labs in our college are fully-equipped with the instruments required, and all the lab assistants are eager to help. The lecture theaters are spacious enough with a seating capacity of around 200 people, well-furnished and well-conditioned with enough air conditioners. The library is very spacious where a maximum of 200 students can study at a time. It is a very well place with zero disturbance with air-conditioners. The hostel environment is very friendly. Seniors are very helpful. Food is like our home food. Sports are given special importance. All the competitions are regularly held.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. As the teachers are very well-qualified, they try to share the best of their knowledge. The exams here are really difficult to pass. A majority of students pass the exams with a percentage of 90%.
Other: The main purpose of joining this course is that I wanted to serve needy people directly. The best thing about my course is it gives eternal peace when the patient smiles after he recovers.
