Placement and hostel review.
Placements: Placement at JB Institute of Technology is good, and only skilled students get placed. However, fewer core companies visit the campus. This session, around 40 percent of students were placed. The institute reports that over 83 percent of students who sought jobs are successfully placed. The highest salary package reported is 11 LPA, and according to older data, the highest package is 9.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus has well-equipped classrooms with smart boards and audio-visual systems. There are modern laboratories for CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and Applied Sciences. High-speed campus Wi-Fi is available in all academic blocks. The computer labs are advanced, with updated systems, programming tools, and 24/7 internet access. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available within the campus, with fully furnished single, double, and triple-sharing rooms. There is 24/7 electricity with power backup and high-speed Wi-Fi accessible in all hostel rooms.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, most are M.Tech and some are Ph.D. holders. They are supportive and teach according to the university syllabus. The institution follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the syllabus framed by the Syllabus Committee and Board of Studies of the affiliating university.
Other: Every year, one fest and one freshers’ party are organized by the college.

College is really good, too low budget.
Placements: Placement is a little good this year, 30 per cent placement done. Other companies are coming for placement offers this year. The highest package is 11 LPA. Placement is not good, but satisfaction, the college is trying to make it good for placement. The college provides an open campus.
Infrastructure: Our college has around 60 classrooms, with about 50 of them equipped with audio, visual, and smart class capabilities. Room types, Triple/double/ sharing configuration. Rooms furnished with a bed, study table, chair, and almirah. Hostel fees are approximately 70,000 per year (including mess & laundry) as per recent data.
Faculty: The faculty base appears decent across departments, but as with many colleges, individual experience may vary by department/semester. JBIT offers engineering (B.Tech) in several branches, CSE, AI & ML, ECE, EE, Mechanical, and Civil. Exams are taken regularly after 2 months in each semester, and there are 2 or 3 internal exams taken.
Other: College is budget-friendly.

I am satisfied with the faculty and curriculum activities. Dissatisfied with the mess food.
Placements: 80-90% of students got placed in my college. The highest package offered by the companies in our college is 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Nagarro, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, Paytm, HCL Technologies, and Tech Mahindra. 60-70% of students get internships. Roles like software developer, data scientist, web developer, and cybersecurity analyst are offered here.
Infrastructure: All things are in good condition, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel is in good condition, but the mess food is not good. There are sufficient areas to play games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They help students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. A maximum of students pass exams. But students who have not studied in college or themselves have not passed. Faculty members are friendly and supportive. If we go to them, they will help us.
Other: I want to become a software engineer, so I chose this course. Most of the things we study are very old. I want the college to change the study materials for our course. All things happen in my college.

College is good. It is value for money. Placements are decent.
Placements: The placement record of my college is not too good at present time, but there was a time when the placement record was too good. It does not have a good placement record in B.Tech or technical courses, but for other courses, the placement records are good. You can get a placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good, but the hygiene is not maintained. In a hostel, you see junk and pollutants on the floor outside the room. Washrooms are not in good condition. Mess food is very bad. The hostel conditions are not good. You can't survive if you are worried about cleanliness.
Faculty: Teachers are good. All the faculty members are very supportive, and they always help students in every field. They encourage the students to do research work also. Exams are taken regularly after 2 months in each semester, and there are 2 or 3 internal exams taken.
Other: The college is good. It is a value for money college, but don't join the hostel.

Great learning experience with strong placements and campus life.
Placements: The college provides excellent placement support with regular training sessions, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops. Top companies visit the campus, and many students, including me, got placed with impressive packages. The placement cell is active and very supportive throughout the process.
Infrastructure: The college has modern and well-maintained infrastructure with smart classrooms, fully equipped labs, a large digital library, seminar halls, and full Wi-Fi coverage. The hostel is clean, secure, and comfortable, offering nutritious food, laundry facilities, and 24/7 water and electricity supply.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and supportive, teaching with real-world examples for better understanding. The curriculum is regularly updated to match industry standards. Exams are fair, well-structured, and include both theoretical and practical application-based questions for balanced evaluation.
Other: I’m from the B.Tech CSE 2022 batch. I chose this course for my teaching passion and career scope. Great faculty, updated curriculum, fun fests, good crowd, and peaceful campus. More real-world projects and soft skill sessions would make it even better.

The college facilities are good. It provides everything. The hostel has very bad food.
Placements: Placements are good. 90-95% of students get placements. Many companies visit the college for placements. Mostly, sales companies come in the even semester for students who are good for a job or if they have skills.
Infrastructure: Everything is good except the food, and it is very bad. In a week, only 2-3 days, the food was normal. There are some items like 20 a week every day, and it cooks different things on Tuesday in the morning, it will provide aalu and paratha, which is much better than every day.
Faculty: It is difficult to pass semester exams because faculty members check our copies. They hired many teachers, and many of them are sleeping guys, so students have a 50% chance to pass exams if students write very clearly. If they have a clear explanation then they can have a 100% of chance passing. If they have bad handwriting then they have to work hard.

JBIT Group of Institute fee structure for BTech programme is INR 2.24 lakh. The fee strcture includes multiple components, such as tuition fees, laboratory fees, security deposit, alumni fees, etc. Some of these are one-time payments that are charged by JBIT Dehradun at the time of admission.
