B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2026
3.8
Good academics and average placements.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech Electrical Engineering batch of 2022. The placement scenario in our college is not very good, especially for core branches like Electrical. Only around 30 to 40% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, and the average package is somewhere between 3 to 3.5 LPA. Most of the companies that visited are from the IT sector, not core Electrical. Top roles offered are usually software developer, system engineer, or such support roles, but for Electrical students, there are very limited options.
Infrastructure: The department has basic infrastructure. There are classrooms with projectors and laptops for machines and measurement, but the equipment is old and sometimes not functional. There is no hostel facility provided by the college, so most students take rooms on rent in nearby areas like Factor Village. It’s a rural area, so there are not many options, and the basic needs have to be managed by the students themselves. Sports facilities are okay; there is a ground for cricket and football and some indoor games like table tennis and badminton.
Faculty: The faculty members in the Electrical Engineering department are quite knowledgeable and supportive. Most of them are well-qualified and teach the core concepts in a clear way. They are approachable outside class and help during project work or if you have any doubts.
Other: The college organizes a few technical and cultural events every year, but they are on an average scale. There are some department events and seminars, but they are not very frequent or large scale. The main annual fest happens once a year, vibrant with basic cultural programs, music, and dance. Participation is decent but not too exciting.

No other college can be compared with jd college in the sense of infrastructure .
Placements: Almost 60-70% of students are placed with 5-6lack of annual package. As our college is trying to give best of their best so that student can get best education and get hired by top multi national companies. Most companies that are coming to college are TCS, WIPRO, EXTRAMARKS. There are different companies coming for different branch for better placements.
Infrastructure: As I have been here since 3 years I have not seen any of the waste lying on ground or any student throwing their waste here and their. All the strict rules are made for students so that students can't spoil their premises. Infrastructure is all about classes. All the classes contains projector so that faculty members can give better knowledge to students.
Faculty: As I am in final year I have been here for approximately 3 years, and till the date I have not seen any of faculty to ignoring students for doubt or not helping in projects. The facilities are encouraging us to take our project to next level so our better courier. There are 5-6 clubs for conducting different Curriculum activities so that students can participate in all other activities also.

Satisfied with the campus and other activities.
Placements: 70-80% of students got placed easily from our college. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. TCS, BYJU's and many other companies, visit the college every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It is one of the well-facilitated colleges in Nagpur City. Wi-Fi connection is always available for faculty members. Labs are well equipped and organized. The classrooms are decent, and the library is very peaceful.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and experienced. They all are M.Tech holders, and some are pursuing PG as well. They provide practical as well as theoretical knowledge. The teaching quality is very good. They make students industry-ready.

The college has good placements, best infrastructure, and the best teachers.
Placements: Our batch is 1st batch for electrical engineering in JDCOEM, and it is my pleasure to be the part of JD college. This year, all my classmates got places in some of the other companies, so the placements of this year are good and satisfactory to all my batch students.
Infrastructure: My college labs are good, and it is improving day by day because it is the first batch labs. All the facilities are not available to us, but now they are trying to provide all the facilities to my juniors. The classrooms are the best in my college. The library provides all the study related books for exploring knowledge.
Faculty: The best part of my college is the teachers. They are always with us in many conditions, and they also provide full support to us. They always try to understand our problem. They are always helpful in improving our knowledge. They provide the study material for us to improve our knowledge.
Other: Our college won the best garden award from the last two years.

Campus is great, events are excellent, faculty is nice and friendly, and placements are good.
Placements: In the previous year, about 85% of students were placed. The highest package was 10 LPA, and the median was 3.8 LPA. Companies like Byju's, Capgemini, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys visit our college. IT branch placement is more than core branches. Many opportunities are given here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained, and labs are well-equipped. Wi-Fi is not available everywhere. Hostels are not available on campus. Canteen is average, hygiene-wise. Campus is well-maintained, with lush greenery.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly. They help you with everything in which you are facing difficulties. The course curriculum is up to the mark and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very simple to pass, but you have to study everything.
Other: So many clubs and events are organized to participate in.

This college is good for btech engineering.
Placements: In case of electrical engineering the more than 40% students get the placment in company. The placment cell give the information about the placment drives. The tech mahindra , Tata tcs ,etc company are visited in college for placment . The placment is an average .
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, libraries, and hostels. Hostel is not good for students because it has low-quality food and is costly. The college conducts every program, sports, medical, and games. College creates various communication channels for the students actual growth.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. They have so much experience teaching and guiding students. They always focus on improving students skills, which helps them in their interview or company. They provide a teacher for every 15 students for one-on-one conversations

It has the best infrastructure though placements are average, you can learn too many things.
Placements: About 90% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Tata Motor, Epitome, Hexaware, Planet Spark, Byjus, Mahindra and Mahindra, Extramarks, TCS, Infosys, Collabera, and Wirehire Enterprises. About 70% of students get internships through college. Top roles offered are graduate engineer, trainee, BDE, site engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is too good and pleasant like a resort. Classrooms are equipped but something does not work. Labs are equipped well and working too. The library is good but it's too far from the academic building. The hostel isn't provided by the college. The quality of food served in the canteen is good but costly. Medical facilities are good. Proper outdoor games are not available.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are too supportive and caring. All are Ph.D. passed outs or a few are pursuing. They have enormous knowledge and have good teaching quality. The course is well designed but it could be better with more practical. Semester exams are easy if you study well daily. Almost everyone gets passed except 1% of people.
Other: No scholarship is available for students from outside Maharashtra.

Our college aim is to improve the personality of the students.
Placements: Mahindra, Sigma, Infrolic so many other types of companies selected the JD students. Almost 5 students toped in RTMNU. Maximum students scored in GATE. Year by year, so many students are placed and have topped in exams. The placement facility in college was average.
Infrastructure: We had many facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, sports, extra-curricular activities, etc. College gets extra classes to improve students' knowledge. The college infrastructure was very good and the atmosphere was very incredible.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They put an extra effort into students. Faculty members were more experienced and helpful to the student 24 hours. Our principal was very unique and very helpful to students. He listens to any problems of students and then sorts them out.
Other: Our college got the best campus award.
