I had a good and fruitful experience at JD Institute.
Placements: The college has offered a lot many placement opportunities. Various companies like H&M, VOI Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, etc., visited the campus to offer placements. All my classmates got placed and are working in renowned places as a stylist or as a PR. The average salary offered by these brands is Rs. 10,000-25,000 per month. It is indeed a good experience to be a part of the campus interviews that are conducted in our college.
Infrastructure: JD has an appropriate and suitable infrastructure which includes Wi-Fi facilities, labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and also medical facilities for any type of injuries. The institute has a huge library where we can spend our zero hours and spend time efficiently. It contains all the required and recently published books related to fashion, interior and jewellery. Labs are equipped with the latest technologies and machines. The college doesn't provide any hostel facilities, but it has tie-ups with PGs which are helpful for you to find one if you are not a localite.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful. None of the teachers is less qualified or has less industry experience. According to our course, which is pretty much practical, we were sent to surveys and on-field research activities which were quite helpful. A lot of talk sessions and industry seminars are conducted in our college which broaden our horizon.
Other: Along with regular classes, JD conducts talent round events, fests and a sports day.

The college provides great exposure to showcase your talent and to improve your skills.
Placements: You will get great placements here, and companies like Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle and Tommy Hilfiger visit the college for recruitment. Students were offered with a role like a visual merchandiser, stylist, product designer, etc. JD provides you with great exposure at the beginning of your course so that you can develop your skills.
Infrastructure: JD has a very pleasant environment and infrastructure. We have a library with all the latest books for reference, and also a small canteen. We also offered with Wi-Fi facility, and the classrooms are very comfortable and spacious. There is a CAD lab to practice, and events are conducted here and then.
Faculty: Faculty members provide with you all the support you need and guide you throughout your work. They are very smooth and friendly. They are qualified and also knowledgeable. You will get a great industry exposure here, and you gain practical knowledge as the college conducts industrial visits.

I'm satisfied with the facilities provided by the college.
Placements: There are some really good placements provided by our college, but the quality of work matters at the end. The college does its work in the best way. We get opportunities to work with industries as well. Students have to do an internship for one complete semester.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a library with all the required books for students. The textile lab helps students to learn the textile techniques. There is a parking space available for the comfort of students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very supportive and very open to the ideas of students. They always support us so that we can do our work perfectly. Mentors are assigned to each class. There are interactive sessions for students and teachers for teachers to know about problems and concerns of students. The best teachers are assigned to students.

I love the college. It has very good staff and curriculum.
Placements: This course has given me not only knowledge but also experience, which is very important for any person who is looking to step into the fashion field. They provide internships in fashion shows and well-known design and fashion firms. The college provides an opportunity to every student.
Infrastructure: The campus is lovely, very neat and clean. There is no canteen, but there are many places to eat, nearby. A/C classrooms and free Wi-Fi facility are very helpful for students. Our classrooms are the best place to sit and work. They are also very well-maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are like our family. They not only be available for lectures but also to solve every problem of students related to the course at any given time. The course curriculum is made very simple because the concentration is on providing students with experiences which are not restricted only to books.

It is good, but it needs to be improved for fashion and communication courses.
Placements: Placements were provided in our college. But, I got placed on my own. Many of my friends were placed from the college. Even after our graduation, teachers send us messages about placements. But, most of the placements offered were in the sales and retail industries. I wish placements were offered in various other fields as well.
Infrastructure: We have all the facilities in the college. Since the campus is in a commercial area, it is congested. Various labs are available for design students. It could have been better if a proper and comfortable working space was provided.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were amazing, and a few were okay. Some of the best faculty taught us the subjects very well, and some other faculty members were out of our reach. I guess it is the same case in every other institution as well. Overall, they were good.
Other: Events and competitions were held in the college, and it was fun to take part in it.
