JSLL: A future-focused campus.
Placements: The reason that led me to choose Jindal for a B.A. English (Hons. ) was for internship opportunities. The exposure and opportunities offered by JSLL were a lot more than those commonly seen at other colleges across India. There was a dedicated department named the Office of Career Services. The OCS organised seminars, guest lectures, and mock interview sessions, which helped in getting good internships and jobs. In 1.5 years, I attended more than 20 guest lectures by renowned experts.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was one of the main attractions of the university. The entire campus was aesthetically designed, something you only find at Ivy League Colleges. Over 10,000 students were studying on campus, but it never felt crowded. My favourite place was the flagpole area where we sat on the lawn, did our coursework and relaxed.
Faculty: What I liked most was the availability of professors, they were ready to help even after hectic classes. One of our professors shared his personal notes from his college years. Our dean did his PhD from Washington University, and he has more than 15 publications on different topics. Many of our professors were also actively associated with various national and international government organisations.

A good place to learn, experience, and develop ourselves.
Placements: Office of Career Services offers internships through superset but are not very relevant to our course. We can outsource internships and get them approved by the depth. We are provided with a brochure. I was required to cover 3 internships in 3 Years, for 6 credits.
Infrastructure: AC and theater both are available. Classrooms have air-conditioners. Wi-Fi needs to be improved but runs well only in enclosed spaces. Food is available 4 times a day with a variety of options catering to everyone. The food court and lounges are accessible all the time. Rooms are shared so we have to learn to adjust.
Faculty: Course curriculum is extremely rigorous so expect a lot of stress. Our department (depending on proof) may give an extension. Exams are simple but with insane word limits and great quality points. Passing marks are 40. All professors are experienced.
Other: Enjoy time with friends at Chain Tapri and roam around. We can explore nearby places as well. Events are held thrice a week or twice a week, if we participate in activities we are occupied through semester without even knowing. It is helpful to build connections and get to know others as well.
