Jesus and Mary College admission is a multi-step process. The admission process differs for Christian and non-Christian applicants. However, candidates under both categories must appear for CUET UG and CSAS. The steps included in the Jesus and Mary BA admission process have been discussed below in detail:

Step 1: Register for the CUET UG & Appear for the Exam

The first step in the process of BA admission at JMC is to register online for the CUET UG exam. For this, candidates must visit the official website of the exam, which is cuetug.ntaonline.in. After the registration, candidates must fill in the application form and pay the registration fee applicable to them based on their reservation category. The next step is to download the admit card when it is released and appear for the exam on the stipulated date.

Step 2: Seat Allotment

50% of the total BA seats at Jesus and Mary College are allotted through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Candidates can register for CSAS on the official website of DU. This can only be done by using the CUET application number and payment of the registration fee. On the DU CSAS portal, the candidates have to submit "College + Course" combination preferences in order of priority. Here, candidates seeking admission to BA at JMC must place their sought course/specialisation and the college at the top of their preference list. On the provisional allocation of a seat, candidates have an option to either "Freeze" or reject the offer by ignoring it. If the candidates manage to secure a seat for BA at Jesus and Mary College, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.

The remaining 50% of the seats are reserved for Christian candidates seeking BA admission at the college. The selection for these seats is based on the scores of CUET (85% weightage) and an interview conducted by the college (15% weightage). After appearing for CUET, Christian candidates must register for CSAS on the portal available on DU's official website. They must ensure to mark their Category information as Christian in the Profile Information page. Additionally, they must fill out the JMC Christian Application Form on the college's website to be called for an interview.

Step 3: Document Verification and Fee Payment

Once the candidate accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student based on verification. After the verification, shortlisted candidates must pay the course fee for the first year to confirm their admission.
