Review of JMIT - Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Top recruiting companies like Daffodil, TCS, etc., visit our campus. Our college provides off-campus opportunities for students to showcase their talent. Students are awarded for achievements and success they receive by performing in or out of college activities.

Infrastructure: There is a lag in the Wi-Fi connection. The library is quite congested, and rules are not often followed by students due to improper supervision by staff members. Sometimes, students face the problem of seating arrangements during exams.

Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. Semester exams are hectic, as you need to fill out the maximum number of sheets to pass the exam. Our teachers focus more on quantity than quality, and even then, there is often a delay in the declaration of results.

Faculty members in our college need to be improved.

Placements: About 29% of students got campus selection. SSWL and TCS are among the top companies that visit our college for placements. Some students get an internship from National Fertilizer Limited Panipat, and some get in IOCL Refinery Panipat. Some students get an internship in SSWL Chandigarh, and some got in Henkel Adhesive for their summer internship.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available, but only for staff and faculty members. There is a net in the computer lab. The classrooms are good, and the library is also good. Sports culture needs to be improved more. Annual events are also good to enhance students' potential.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful but require IIT professors for the best teaching program and practical knowledge. The course in the chemical field is good but needs to be much more practical and industrial to make students fit for industries work. Semester exams level is difficult. I would rate 8 out of 10 for the difficultly level.

Other: Our college conducts good events.

This college focuses more on practical knowledge rather than bookish knowledge.

Placements: Placements were average. As about 80% of student got placed in our batch in different MNCs. Companies like TCS, INFOSYS, etc came for placements. Being a computer student, I got a role in software development. The average package of this college is 5 lakh.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. The college has big classrooms and unique labs to provide good practical knowledge. The hostel is spacious and the mess food is average with a good routine. There is also a dispensary available on campus with 24-hour service. The campus is up to mark.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good. This college prefers practical knowledge rather than bookish knowledge. Here teachers motivate you for exploring yourself in the world of technology. Hence the future is in safe hands. The quality of teaching is far better than other tech colleges.

The college provides technical knowledge with highly practical concepts.

Placements: Placements of this college are quite good. If you are satisfied with the salary package of 5-6 LPA, then take admission here. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, etc. About 90% of secured jobs are offered this year.

Infrastructure: The hostel is very good at a reasonable price with a large ground, basketball court and badminton court. Food in the mess is tasty. Every week a sports tournament take place, and our college encourages sports along with studies.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced from IITs with more than 30 years of experience. They share their practical concept with us and make us industry-ready. I did computer science from here and learned many IT languages which are helpful in industries. If you want to learn, then join here.

Technical aspiring students can join here and make their career.

Placements: About 99% of the students got placed in our batch. About 1% of the students did not get placed because of their family businesses. Summer and winter internships offered by the college are great. I did an internship from IOCL Panipat, and top companies which recruit students from here are TCS and Infosys.

Infrastructure: The hostel of our college is great, and it is very neat and clean. Food quality is quite good with special dishes daily. There is also a playground for sports which is huge, and you can play sports like badminton and cricket. There is also a gym in the hostel for fitness.

Faculty: Teachers are well-educated from IITs, and the way of teaching is different from everyone. Rather than bookish knowledge, they believe in practical knowledge. This college manufactures the perfect combo of the industrial worker with 100% practical knowledge.

Other: I was interested in the technical aspects, so I have chosen this college.
