JMIT overview from its student.

Placements: BCA in JMIT is not attended as importantly as B.Tech. There is a considerable difference in educational aspects, as it mainly focuses on theory and little to no practical application is there. The placements offered for BCA are less, and often few to no students are placed.

Infrastructure: The college Wi-Fi doesn't work, the library is mostly filled and overcrowded on certain days. The canteen is fine but lacks certain character to it, although classrooms are fully air-conditioned and in labs, only some systems actually work. The infrastructure overall is fine for a college with that feel structure.

Faculty: The faculty is lacking in deep and quality knowledge and often seems unprofessional. There is new staff, and it is mostly fresh graduates, so you can't expect a high level of expertise. The syllabus and subjects cover a broad aspect of work in the IT sector, but again, it's only theory. The semester exams are fine and mostly repeated.

Other: There are scholarships offered for B.Tech course. Many activities and quizzes are held day to day.

It is the best college in Yamunanagar .

Placements: I am very interested in web development, app development, and other related fields. 100% placement in our college. Many boys were placed in top companies with 10 L package. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Delloite, Wipro, Amazon, and others recruited the students.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for boys. The hostel rooms are fully equipped with adequate furniture & fixtures.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable; they try to make every student a top performer; they assist us in everything. One positive aspect is that the college offers special doubt classes to assist students with their studies. The college organised many fests, including all departmental fests, and the annual fest is also very good.

Average experience not so great.

Placements: Placements in our college is quite good as they almost placed 60 to 70% of students that have skills. Highest package was 6LPA and minimum was 2-3LPA. But for placement purposes BCA does not get the right opportunity; more focus is given to Btech. Where BCA students of other institutes were participating in placements, our college chose Btech students.

Infrastructure: Great Infrastructure is present as we have a great conference hall, auditorium, Mukand collectively organize placements for multiple colleges. Labs, classrooms are good; all the facility is available for technical students. Quality of food is also nice; we get great choice on food also.

Faculty: Faculty of the college is also quite cooperative, helpful and knowledgeable as well. The teaching quality is also good, they were able to tackle the doubts of students. Also, course curriculum is relevant as we learn many programming languages in our curriculum only.

The infrastructure and faculty of this college are very good.

Placements: The placements of this college are amazing and we get good packages. IN 2021 here, 450 students got placed. Top recruiters visit our college for placements. At least 70 percent is required to sit for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good and beautiful. There are separate departments for each course. Library is huge and 24*7 available. Quality of hostels is very good and AC rooms are available also. Sports tournaments are also held here. Canteen is good.

Faculty: The teachers are excellent. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The semester exams are held at a moderate level. The teaching quality is very good.

I am very satisfied with this college.

Placements: Students from any instream in 12th can get admission in BCA. The average salary package offered is 13.1 LPA by Microsoft. The minimum salary package offered is 26.7 LPA by Flipkart. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc., that visit our campus to hire students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good on campus, and all departments are fully functional with air-conditioners, 24X7 electricity, and technical laboratories. The library is provided with all the books of sessions and it is fully functional with good speed of internet. Hostels are also good, every facility is provided here. The quality of food is average in the mess and canteen. The medical facilities are provided, and Wi-Fi is also enabled in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are co-operative every time. They play important role in the placements of students. Time to Time expert lectures is held for the students to get a better understanding of the industry as well as annual industrial trips are also for the students.

Other: I chose this course for engineering. BCA can make students an engineer in just 3 years. This will provide students with the best knowledge of computers. Events are held on campus. The annual fest also entertains students, and extra curriculum activities through the events are conducted every time so that one can enhance their personal growth.

A good college with good infrastructure.

Placements: Many students get paced with the lowest salary package. If students want the highest packages they need to skill up themselves. Students should not depend on the college. In BCA, the average salary package is may be 3 LPA, which is good. I am not satisfied with the package. Many small companies hire. Big companies do not visit the college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: Departments are good. The infrastructure is also good. The college Wi-Fi is not good because of its speed. The water in the hostel is very bad. Because of hostel water, everyone has hair fall problems. The mess food is average but not good because there is no taste in their food.

Faculty: Most teachers are good but some are not. Teachers are good with their teaching skills. I cannot say that the teaching is bad because every teacher gives their best. But everyone covers up only the syllabus except one or two teachers that's why every student hates teachers.
