Good college in the past, but it now needs improvement.

Placements: About 90 percent of students from JMIT College got placed in the top companies. The average package is 3.5 lacs per year, with the highest package of 21 lacs this year. The top recruiters from this college are Wipro, Infosys, etc. Placement-wise, college is just below average.

Infrastructure: The college is as decent as it should be, with all the basic infrastructure like a mess, canteen, playground, basketball court, and badminton court. It has a separate hostel for boys and girls. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Mess food is below average with very few options.

Faculty: Teachers are mostly young but excellent at teaching and have an overall helping nature. The course is based on the Kuk syllabus. Exams are of a moderate level, in which we have to do five questions for 15 marks. The passing percentage is 40 percent. You have to do training from outside to be industry-ready.

The placements and the crowd in the college are good.

Placements: The computer science and information technology placements are good, but in case of core branches, the placements are very less though they have placements in IT companies which are not more useful for core branches. Otherwise, go for CSE and IT and you'll definitely get placed.

Infrastructure: Not much good in comparison to IITs or NITs, but in comparison to other private colleges, the campus is quite good, and sports facilities are also provided. The cafeteria is also good as long as you have good friends. So, to enjoy, it is quite good in comparison to other colleges.

Faculty: In case of faculty, we can say that faculty are quite good. Their guidance is provided if you are a sincere student because teachers also have faced the same problems, so they will definitely guide you really well. So, the faculty are good. The campus crowd is also good.

Other: Fests are awesome as well as the crowd.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There are no placements for the electrical engineering department, but companies are coming for CS ECE, IT. The packages which these companies were providing is bit low. If you work hard in the right direction, you will surely place irrespective of which branch you belong.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of a college campus is excellent, and the medical facilities were good. The sports and games are well-equipped, and we also have a gym. The library was also good with Wi-Fi facilities, and the hostel rooms, well-equipped hostel amenities. We also have sports ground, and above all this, the hostel security is good.

Faculty: The faculty was good and well experienced, and every teacher was well qualified and has experience. We have additional lectures, tutorial lecture, labs, technical labs all are good, and well guided. We have smart classroom and fun activities for communication skills.

Other: The technical fest and annual fest was good.

Overall, it is an above average college.

Placements: Overall, the placement was good. A high number of students were placed during the last month. The average salary offered was 2.3 LPA. The placement cell works efficiently. Many big companies were invited to the placement process. Full support for placement was given to the student.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was overall good. It was highly renovated with all functionality. Hostel rooms vary from year to year. It has a big library with a good number of books for the overall development of students. The labs were fully functional, and the whole campus was Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: The faculty are highly cooperative at every point in time. A separate doubt session was included to help students. The student to faculty ratio was 10:1. Industrial visits were regularly organised. The course curriculum was useful though it should be revised according to the new technology.

Other: There were departmental as well as college fests. Other than that, blood donation camps, NCC camps were organised. It rewarded the scholarship to meritorious students.

Other: JMIT is quite good in order to showcase your talent. Crowd is okay, I must say not that much good. But College life is simply awesome. Here many people come to know each other.
