A balanced insight into student experience, facilities, and career opportunities.
Placements: Placement was good for CS and IS, IT, and BT branches. Almost 15 students got selected. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, IBM, Wipro, and Cognizant. All students got internships because it's compulsory in our college. Students opted for internships according to their choice.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure and it's very old building. You just love the environment of college. Our college had very good libraries. Free Wi-Fi system was available. Classrooms were very big and had bright lights and good air facilities. Hostel food was good. College had canteen with good service and a coffee day. College provided good medical facilities. Our college had a very big ground and it participated in many state-level competitions in cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers were very supportive. If you did not understand any subject, they will conduct a special class for those students. Our college had course curriculum, and teachers prepared students for it. Semester exams I find some subjects easy, some medium. The highest percentage was 9.4 CGPA for our civil branch.
Other: I chose this work because I am interested in construction buildings. Best thing about the course was that you learn many interesting things, topics about construction, and civil drawings. Events and fests were very grand in our college even I danced with my friend in an event. Scholarships were available for merit students.

Good placements and has good campus environment.
Placements: There are more than 120 students in our batch. The highest among all the other courses of our batch. We have highest strength students. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest is approximately 2.2 LPA or 3.2 LPA in the course information science.
Infrastructure: There are many labs available on our campus. There is one library and classrooms are pretty good. Engineering life is the best life. I am not a hosteller but the hostel is pretty good. Mess is also well and there is a canteen on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers are also responsible and cooperative with the students. They are qualified, experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable about the topic. The semester exams are strictly conducted. The passing percentage is 40% including internal marks.
Other: This course is pretty good and it's highly prioritized on our campus. There will be no events conducted. If they conduct then it will be about studies and they call it an event.

    Review of Basaveshwar Engineering College.
Placements: In the year 2025, there are 15% of placements. In mechanical brach not sure, the highest package is 5.5 lack per annum. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Mphasis, etc. I think 10% to 15% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Honestly, the Wi-Fi didn't connect to anyone until the completion of the course. Labs especially computer labs and classrooms better but not the best. In hostels, they don't serve nonveg food items. Sunday night they don't give the food like PG's system. The best part is the hostel has a gym facility.
Faculty: Teaching quality is nice but it would be better. Faculty will teach you at the diploma level and they will expect from you at the IIT level. According to my opinion, faculty members are best only some of them but some faculty members act like they teaching you.

Why it is the best college, and why select this college?
Placements: The college has given more number of placements for students. The college is really good for placements. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Accenture, and Applied Materials. But no students got internships from our course in companies. Roles offered are professional and managing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good because it is built in vast area of 95 acres of land with seperate buildings for every department. The college provides Wi-Fi on campus. Labs and classrooms are very well-maintained. The college has a good library and reading room. Facilities in the hostel are good with the delicious food.
Faculty: Teachers are not well-qualified but they are able to manage the doubts of students. Some of them are less knowledgeable. The teaching quality of many teachers is not so great but okay. But in this college, the course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult in this college, and the pass percentage was about 90%.
Other: I selected this course at the suggestion of my brother. The best things about my course are not relevant to the job. The things to improve about the course are first they have to bring knowledgeable faculty members to train students in a professional way. The college arrange only few fests and events in college. Only, we will get government scholarships and no other scholarships are provided from the college.

    History of my college life.
Placements: There were less number of students placed in our college compared to the publicity given outside the college. The lowest package in our college placement was 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. The highest package was 9 LPA to 9.5 LPA. There were no top recruiting companies visited to our college. The average placements have visited our college and taken the placements. The college did not provide any personal internships from the college so I have gone through outside the campus and made my internship in the final year.
Infrastructure: Hostel was very good and I got very good friends in the hostel. But the food provided in the hostel was average. The tiffin was good, but the dinner and lunch were average.
Faculty: The lecturers in the department as well as college were half knowledgeable and they had come to the college by the influence. The lecturers didn't give any practical knowledge to the students as they used to tell whatever was there in the textbook that's all. The exams were easy, but they used to make the students fail for the sake of the money. In the department, many of the lecturers were half knowledgeable compared to the department.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to grow in my future in the case of electronics and communication engineering, as I am interested in it. I did not get any placement in the college, so I did the external course outside the college after my graduation. They used to conduct only farewell party as well as the fresher's party. That's all.

I breathed in every moment of my college life.
Placements: As compared to the publicity of the college outside the campus it is not same inside the college. Neither placements are conducted in our batch. Packages are too low compared to the previous year's batches. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA and the highest is 10 LPA as per the college. They have not provided internships for our batch. We have to find and do internships on our own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of department was good compared to other colleges but the management department was not good at all. They used to judge students by fees. Coming to hostel, hostel was good but the food was not okay, same taste very week but tiffin was nice. Lunch and dinner were average.
Faculty: As the college had many faculty members per subject but many faculty members had half knowledge. They were used to teach whatever was there in the book that's it but they were not used to give practical knowledge for future-based purposes. Semester exams were okay but they used to fail many students for fees.
Other: I choose this course because I wish to become a good electronics and communication engineer and provide services to the industrial company for betterment and to improve my knowledge. I had done an external course also after completion of my college. Our college did not conducted any events. Only farewell and as well as freshers party were conducted. There were 2 events for a year which was big, but we students enjoyed as much as we can and also studied as well in college campus.
