It's a pretty good college with good infrastructure.

Placements: Around 70% of the students get placed here. The highest package in my branch is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro and Infosys visit here. Our course offers roles from a wide variety, such as data analyst to software engineer. We frequently have workshops and internships going on.

Infrastructure: We have free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, labs are good, classrooms have digital boards, and the hostel is clean and hygienic. We have a library with a vast amount of resources, and books can be rented from here. Hostel food could be better. We have a sports stadium where sports events are conducted.

Faculty: The faculty is good and experienced; they teach very well. Their teaching quality is awesome. We have a VTU-affiliated course that does make students industry-ready, but I would suggest students build skills. Semester exams are pretty easy, not that difficult, and around 80% of students pass easily.

Other: I chose this course because either I wanted CA or I got it here. It's closer to my home, so I chose it. Many events are held at our college, and they are pretty enjoyable.

I like the beautiful view of JNNCE campus.

Placements: Many companies visit our college for recruitment. Among them, the average salary package offered ranges from 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. In our department, nearly 70% of the students got placed. Top recruiting company was TCS. It is the mass recruiter of our college as it hires around 200 to 300 students, including students of all the branches. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped labs with all the required facilities like computers and Wi-Fi connection for those computers and charts necessary for students to learn, etc. Classrooms are also good with the requirements. Hostel is also good. All the facilities are provided in the hostel. Rooms are also good.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are knowledgeable and qualified. Teaching quality is also good. They are always ready to clarify the doubts of the students and encourage them to study. Faculty members will be guiding students to involve themselves in learning skills and also encourage them to join online learning.

Other: The campus is the most beautiful one. Roaming on the campus feels good because of the greenery present around the campus. The most memorable event in our college is the college fest for which everyone will be waiting eagerly.

One of the best in infrastructure and teaching. It has been listed in top 100 engineering college.

Placements: If you are from computer science engineering, information science engineering or EC, you can easily get placed. The average package is nearly 3 lacks per annum. The highest recruited student is for 6.7 lakhs per annum from ISE in the academic year 2015-16. The companies which visit our campus are Dell, Tech Mahindra, TCS (mass recruiter), etc. The percentage of students get placed is 60% of the final year students.

Infrastructure: It as a one of the good infrastructure you can see. There is a separate block for the freshers ( students of 1st year) called step building. There is a separate block for each CSE and EEE students. Three storied building is there for TC, ISE, and EC. The mechanical and civil branches are in a single 2-storied building.

Faculty: The college has the one of best faculty. The faculty are student friendly. They can help you in any kind of your problem related to your studies. The teaching is very helpful, and lecturers are highly qualified. Most of them are having nearly minimum 10 years of experience in teaching. Since I am in ISE, I didn't get any kind of industrial visit. The course curriculum was very useful.

Good college and the infrastructure is good

Placements: The placement is moderate. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Societe Generale come to the campus. Eligible students always have the opportunity in our college. The packages vary from 2.5 lakhs to 8 lakhs. TCS is the mass recruiter of our college and More than 100 students get placed in TCS itself.

Infrastructure: One of the oldest colleges established in 1980. Departments have very good labs and equipment. The campus is around 50 acres. The cricket stadium is even recognized by KSCA. Ranji Trophy cricket is played in our college. There is a separate building for different departments. But Wi-Fi is not available here.

Faculty: Some of the faculty member sare IIT graduates and PhD holders. They are very friendly and are very resourceful persons. Some of them are national award winners for their research in various fields. Some of them are graduates of our own college. No worry about faculty members if you are hungry for knowledge.

A very good college in Shimoga.

Placements: Placements are okay. The placement cell mainly concentrates only on BE students. They have criteria for placements. The main problem with the MCA students is they don't qualify the criteria. But in our batch, many students get placed through campus. Around 170+ students get placed through campus. Every year, a lot of students get placed through the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Every classroom has a projector facility. Very good labs. Big cricket ground. The quality of lab is very nice. The library is very big and they provide books for every student. There is a book bank system which provides all the books to the students that they can keep throughout the semester. That helps the students a lot.

Faculty: The faculty members are very interactive and Very friendly. They will treat students like friends. They help even outside the campus also. Very good teaching. All the faculty members have excellent knowledge. They solve the doubts of the student. They are very interactive, especially in the labs. They help the students to achieve good marks.

Faculty are bit arrogant .

Placements: Associate or system engineer in mostly service based company like tcs, Infosys etc. But very less product based companies come in this college so people who are seeking to work in product base companies must look for any other college but if you are looking in Shimoga then this is the best college.

Infrastructure: Infra is good for CSE, ise, etc., ECE, EEE, this, ai and hostel is kind of Good And library is good but library is any day crowded so much so you have to go early and take up your seat other than that the buildings are separate for the branches now we a new building for CSE is being built.

Faculty: Some teachers are good and some are arrogant but it's fine and can be managed out principal is very ambitious and good in all things some teachers are there who really care about student and do a great job so college is good in terms of faculty curriculum and exams.

Other: I chose ise because any CSE related branch like CSE, ise aiml, this and EC to some extent have great opportunities .
