B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
5.0
Best college in Hyderabad.
Placements: Most of the students get placements. I'm in my third year so I don't have much idea about the actual packages that we are going to get but generally from seniors I heard packages about 6 LPA, 7 LPA, and 8 LPA. The median package is 1 or two crossing 7 digits. Amazon is one of the MNCs that generally come for recruiting. Most students do internships and get paid well, unlike most engineering colleges.
Infrastructure: We do have Wi-Fi but not for students' personal use. We do have labs with working equipment and good guidance, big spacious classrooms, and a huge library. They do have a hostel and that's maintained well too. The canteen is tasty. We do have medical support and we do have huge sports and games grounds.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, qualified, and very knowledgeable. They are the best in their subjects. JNTUH itself makes the syllabus so we follow the syllabus and cover more than the syllabus. Semester exams are pretty good if you attend class regularly. The pass percent is 33 percent. The faculty is top-class. They do help in networking in the industry.
Other: I was interested in this course because of cars generally that's why I chose this course. Regular events and fests are held in the campus surroundings and connectivity is good because it's close to the city. Everyone plays 0 money since EAMCET pays the fees.

Good faculty and peaceful surroundings.
Placements: My course is B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. 50-60 percent of students got placed from my course. The average package offered in my course is about 3 LPA. 40 percent of students got internships from my course, but not every internship from top companies. The placement percentage is a little low compared to Computer Science.
Infrastructure: The facilities for my course and hostel are quite good. I really like the infrastructure of my college. But it's not modern as it is an old university. The facilities in the hostel are not that great. Classrooms, library, and labs are good enough. The food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are absolutely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are really tough. The pass percentage is 70 percent. We have the syllabus related to all branches in the first year. My faculty is kind.
Other: I wanted to join JNTU since the 10th standard. I hope the placement percentage increases. The campus is really spacious.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.
Placements: JNTUH college is the topmost college in Telangana. In my college, students should maintain above 85% to crack placements. The highest package in the mechanical branch is 20 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and PhonePe.
Infrastructure: In JNTUH, infrastructure is excellent and it looks like an IT company. Classrooms are very good and clean with wooden benches which are comfortable for students, and every room contains a stage allocated to faculty members.
Faculty: In this college, every course contains 8 semesters over the entire 4 years. In each semester, it contains 2 mid exams and one lab exam for every subject. In labs, there are full equipments which are useful to every student. Finally, the final exam will be conducted. At least every student should score 35% to pass. It is not difficult to pass the exam.

It is an excellent college to improve and learn perfectly.
Placements: Placements are just good. The percentage of students who got placed in mechanical engineering is above 7.5%. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like General Electric, Bosch, ABB Group, etc., visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College in the mechanical engineering course provides modern laboratories, good facilities, and a library to read and improve knowledge. The hostel in my review is average. The mess available in the hostel is not bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent. They encourage us to improve our knowledge. The teaching quality is average, but some faculty members' teaching is perfect. Semester exams are difficult. We are now in R22 regulations. According to R22 regulations, we have to write 2 mid-term exams and get average marks.
Other: Our batch is good at conducting all activities like events, fests, etc.

Beyond the Brochure: What JNTUH Offers.
Placements: Overall, 70% of the students get placed in JNTU. The highest package offered is 14 CTC and the lowest is 4 LPA, with the average being about 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my discipline are Ashok Leyland, L&T, JSW, and Vedanta. The placement cell office in our college helps us get placements.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good, as the departments are very spacious. We have 3 girls' hostels and 3 boys' hostels in our college, and they are only for the B.Tech students. We even have an international hostel for international students. The hostel fees are also lower compared to private hostels. We have two libraries in our college. A Wi-Fi facility is also there. We have an indoor stadium for indoor games and a ground for outdoor games. We have a healthcare center on our campus.
Faculty: The faculty here are very down to earth. We can discuss any doubts regarding our career and placements with them. The lab facilities are very good for core branches compared to other colleges. The semester exams are a bit difficult, but we can ace them.
Other: The reason why I chose this college is that JNTUH is the best college out there for core branches like mechanical, civil, chemical, and metallurgy. We can learn more here about our core branches. We have student clubs where students can participate and learn about their interests. They even conduct events for us to showcase our talent. Every year, a technical fest is conducted where students can learn more about organizing an event, and they can also learn more about their discipline.

The campus placements is good.
Placements: 78% of students placed in top companies. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra. Around 60% of students got internships. The top roles are automobile engineer, process engineer, and tool engineer.
Infrastructure: The hotel facilities were very good. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the food was good. The campus has a solid infrastructure for B.Tech, including well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, and a pretty good library.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The teachers were qualified to teach us, having 6 to 8 years of experience. They were very knowledgeable and the quality of their teaching was good. The semester exams strike a good balance, maintaining a 70% pass rate.

The college is better than you expect. It is the best college from EAMCET perspective.
Placements: The students at JNTU college are provided with placements training from the second semester. Maximum students of JNTU get placed. Many Multi National companies come as recruiters here. The highest package at JNTU is 50 LPA which changes every year. The average package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the hostels is very bad. The lab equipments are also very old. The best part is that the students have access to multiple libraries here for every branch along with a college library and a university library. The university library is very big. The computer labs are also separately present in every branch.
Faculty: The professors here are very good and have high knowledge in their respective fields. All the members of the faculty have Ph.Ds in their respective field. They support us in every field of study. The exams here are conducted thrice for theory and twice for labs. The curriculum is very relevant to the course and outside world.

Absolutely satisfied with the placements for 2020.
Placements: As a freshman, I don't have a good idea of the placements at the college. But most of the members go abroad and continue their higher studies. Many good companies like Infosys, Tata, and Mahindra Samsung hire the students. The availability package for a mechanical engineer is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is good, but being a government college, it is not good to expect high infrastructure. But we have an excellent auditorium and indoor complex to play in. The library facility is so good and excellent. There are two libraries in the college. It is better not to talk about college. We got Wi-Fi, and the rooms are clean.
Faculty: The circular is not so good, and the subjects are not up to par. They can teach better. The labs are okay. Some of the faculty is so experienced and teaches us in many different ways. The exams are wide, but at the same time, the students are not willing to write them. Hence, the pass percentage is decreasing.
Other: I chose the course mechanical engineering because of my passion for the subject. The two reasons for the selection of JNTU College are it is economical; the costs are very low as compared to the other colleges. And it has a good reputation in Telangana. The facts and freshmen appear once a year, which is quite enjoyable.

Are you sure that your rank lies around 15,000 (TS EAMCET)? If so, there may be a chance for you to get a seat in mechanical (reg/idp). But the allotment of seats is also based on your caste. If you come under BC/SC/ST, there may be a chance for you. But if you are an OC (general candidate), then it
