B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2029
3.6
JNTUH is a great place to pursue engineering. The placement rate at college is quite good.
Placements: From the passing-out batch of B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering this year, around 60% of registered students got placements. The highest package is 19 LPA, the lowest package is 6.51 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The major role offered is VLSI Designer.
Infrastructure: The department has good infrastructure, but at times, a few labs have outdated equipment. A well-functioning canteen is available on the campus. A ground is always available for students to play sports. A sports complex is also available, which has an indoor pool and facilities for other indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers at JNTUH are extremely knowledgeable. The college updates the course curriculum every few years to keep it relevant to the current industry. The semester exams are usually of moderate difficulty. But it completely depends on how well the student is prepared.
Other: I chose this course because the software sector is becoming more saturated. This field offers better job opportunities if good skills are developed. The college has improved its extracurricular activities. Different fests and events are organized to improve connectivity among students and help them enjoy campus life.

JNTUH is a crazy place.
Placements: Don't have too many expectations from the placements. The last batch that passed has decent placements. Most of the hiring is through mass recruiters, with a few exceptions like AMD and other well-known companies. If you work hard and maintain a good CGPA, placements are guaranteed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure needs to be improved. The campus is poorly maintained. The trees need to be maintained. The buildings need severe renovation. The footpaths need to be weed-free. We need better food and canteen facilities. The open canteen also needs renovation.
Faculty: The curriculum is decent but not exactly up to date. The R25 curriculum is better in comparison. The end-of-semester exams are tough, really tough. It is not a good college for students planning a partial drop, irrespective of the department. Do not try to cheat, or you will get into serious trouble.
Other: Overall, it is a really good place if you find the right set of people.

Good faculty, infrastructure could be better, decent placements.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, AWS, Oracle, Darwinbox, Honeywell, and NVIDIA. Top roles offered are VLSI Designer, Embedded Systems Engineer, and Software Developer. The highest package is 19 LPA, the average is between 6–9 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. About 65% of students got internships, mainly from companies like Darwinbox, Honeywell, and AWS.
Infrastructure: The campus itself is large and open. It covers 89 acres, and most of it is open space. There is a huge ground for cricket and football, along with outdoor shuttle courts. There is also a large indoor sports complex with badminton courts and other facilities like squash. There are also two modern basketball courts. Classrooms are large, but due to the high number of students, they feel congested. Wi-Fi is available but slow and laggy. The library is excellent, with all academic books available along with some magazines and newspapers, but no novels. Hostels are satisfactory—nothing too good, nothing too bad.
Faculty: Faculty is fast and efficient. They complete their syllabus on time and do not really bother with students that much. Students have to go to them and ask doubts and use them to the best of their abilities. They are very helpful in that aspect. Sometimes teachers may cancel classes. The course curriculum is relevant. There is a lot of industry exposure through it. Some subjects, like Chemistry, feel unnecessary, though. Semester exams are very difficult since there is a lot of syllabus. Maintaining a good CGPA is hard, and the pass percentage is about 30–40%.
Other: I chose ECE due to its versatility. It includes both software and hardware aspects and has evergreen industry demand. I would improve the infrastructure and remove unnecessary subjects like Chemistry. There are four events per year: freshers, farewell, a club fest, and a branch fest. The college has excellent connectivity since it is located in the city center.

My JNTUH University facts.
Placements: A maximum of 70 percent of students are placed in the academic year 2024 to 2025. The highest package is approximately 52 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. Most companies that recruit us are like Infosys, Amazon, Microsoft, and AMD. These companies offer a sufficient package.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and have good infrastructure. Hostel food is also good and sports facilities are very good for all types of games.
Faculty: Here, all the faculty members are professors, they are well-experienced in their teaching subjects, and they clarify students' doubts. For every semester, we have a semester exam. Exams are a little bit tough because we will study all the chapters from the start. I am joining the electronic and communication engineering branch. The faculty of this branch teaches very well.
Other: I am interested in very large scale integration VLSI, so I will choose ECE as the best for learning my course.

Nice college for study and enjoyment, with the best faculty.
Placements: In Electronics and Communication Engineering, almost 40% students are placed. The highest package is 19LPA. The top recruitment company is Qualcomm. Internships are mostly outsourced. Best placements, nice environment, and the best educational institution.
Infrastructure: The library is provided with all the books required for the course. Pleasant environment at the department, Hostels are provided only for students staying far and students with low incomes. Most sports students are encouraged by our college irrespective of categories.
Faculty: Qualified teachers, but we ourselves need to learn more than the faculty teaches us. The course curriculum is r22 provided. Semester exams are difficult to write, but can be passed if the student has basic knowledge of the subject. All the books are given best authors and are useful for placements too.
Other: I chose this course as per my EAMCET rank. Scholarship is provided as per the student's rank and eligibility criteria.

College life is good, with greenery.
Placements: Placements are fine, but not great. However, the average is good. You cannot expect a bigger package from here, but the average is okay for a fresher. Not many big companies will come, and the core branches won't get many core-related companies for placements.
Infrastructure: As they are old buildings, the infrastructure isn't great, but we can live there. Wi-Fi, water, and food are available in the hostels. A library, sports building, ground, and health center are all available on the campus itself, which is a plus point.
Faculty: As the curriculum is very old and not up to current studies, we have to learn from online resources. The faculty are responsible and support us during projects and other tasks, but they will only teach 75% of the syllabus, which is common in all colleges.
Other: Mostly, there is no other information, but according to the feel factor, it is the best government, top-1 college to come to.

Good placement and satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: Maximum number of students have been placed every year from our college. Internships are mostly done by students on their own. Top roles obtained by our students would be great and satisfy them. Top recruiting companies would be Well Education.
Infrastructure: Our college has good quality of sports. Hostel food is also better than other colleges. They will clean our hostel rooms every day. Medical facilities are also available in our college. Sports and games are also held as per our interests, according to the time given.
Faculty: Our college has good and excellent percentage. Teachers are very helpful to the students here. If they need any help, they will provide everything you want. Semester examinations are usually held after 6 months in our college. Pass percentage would be 60% mostly every year.
Other: I will definitely want people to join our college.

College has a nice campus and infrastructure.
Placements: A placement rate of 75% (40 out of 53 students) was achieved, with the highest package at 16 LPA, the lowest at 3.5 LPA, and the average at 7.5 LPA, from top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Qualcomm, for roles including VLSI Design Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, IoT Specialist, Network/Telecom Engineer, and Electronics Engineer. .
Infrastructure: Classroom infrastructure is just average, with poorly maintained computer labs whose systems are too slow for Google and Wi-Fi that is barely usable at 100 kbps, the library is excellent, spacious, and well-equipped for study; meanwhile, hostel rooms lack maintenance with dust-covered walls, though the food is quite decent and sports facilities, while lacking a proper cricket ground, are fairly good with a gym and courts for various games, all supported by a reliable medical center, despite the canteen primarily offering packaged items.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful, though they may be qualified, and while some teach well, self-reading is more encouraged. The curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready as it always focuses on subjects and not on practical things. Exams are tough, making it very hard to pass. The pass percentage is less than 50%, with about 50% of students failing every semester.
Other: ECE is my course, and so far, it is the best in JNTUH compared to other colleges, with good computers, high-speed internet, and equipment in the labs, though events in our college are minimal.
