This is Telangana's top college.
Placements: We can be placed in top companies like DRDO, JSW Steel, ISRO, and many research companies. We can get an average of 4 LPA in the placements and our branch placement rate is 100 percent. A few students get an internship from our college but it's rare.
Infrastructure: The sports block is good but I'm not allowed to play. They allow after 5:00 PM, and no extra activities are conducted. The hostel infrastructure is very bad, the food is average, no proper washrooms, and there is no Wi-Fi in the classroom. The library has a pretty good number of books available, but only one canteen is available.
Faculty: Faculty want to fail students in the semester exams, regardless of how well they write. Teachers are good sometimes but they often eventually target the students in examinations. In 2026, the B.Tech 1st year 1st semester pass percentage is only 20 percent.
Other: College fests are not that interesting better to not go, just choose this college because it's a state top college.

The college has decent faculty and good infrastructure but exams are tough.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students are placed in metallurgical engineering at JNTUH. The highest package offered is around 11 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA and the average package is about 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include JSW and Vedanta. About 40% of students received internships mostly in companies like JSW. Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. and Local Manufacturing Unit. Top roles offered are graduate engineer trainee and quality control engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with decent classroom facilities and functional laboratories for practical work. Wi-Fi is available in only some academic blocks. The library is well-stocked with books related to metallurgy and other core subjects. Hostels are clean and maintained 5 days a week. The mess food is average but sometimes hygienic. The canteen options are decent. Medical facilities are available on campus and are accessible during emergencies. Sports facilities like a basketball ball court, cricket ground, and indoor games are also present for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive with most having strong academic backgrounds. The teaching quality is decent and they are approachable to doubts. The curriculum is moderately relevant to industry needs though some parts are outdated. Semester exams are very tough and the paper correction is strict, resulting in a low pass percentage. Students need to prepare well in advance to score decent marks and clear all the subjects on time. The pass percentage is low.
Other: Each department organises its fest with a unique name and these events are usually conducted over 2 days. Fests are lively and offer a good break from academics with participation from both students and faculty. The campus crowd is friendly and there are opportunities for extracurricular activities. However, connectivity to the campus from the remote areas could be improved. More industry interaction and technical workshops would also enhance the course experience.

I'm absolutely satisfied with this college because of faculty. Good placements and facilities.
Placements: I took Metallurgical engineering course which deals with metal study. The highest package was 7 L per annum and lowest is 3.5 L. Percentage of students placed in my course is 75%. Mostly 50% students got internships from BHEL, etc. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, BHEL, steel plants, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with neat classrooms. A library with lots of books and lots of information, good WiFi, and labs with required equipment are there. I got to know that the food available in the hostel is not much healthy but can be eaten and the canteen is better. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful; they are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. This course makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are quite easy, the pass percentage is 40% and the course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I chose this course with my own interest and the best things—no pressure and happy understanding.

Highly recommend college .
Placements: Around 70% got placements most of them opted for high studies. Last year (2021) the highest pack was 40L ECE student in MNC, average pack is around 10L. 90% students got internships in metallurgy department most in BHEL, DRDO etc. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Wipro, cognizant, TCS, Infosys etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our department like we have separate library and individual labs for every subject. Entire college has Wi-Fi services including hostels. Hostels rooms are very bad food avg. We have good facilities for sports we Indore stadium with 4 badminton courts, swimming pool, Indore gym etc. and we have basketball court cricket and foot ball ground.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and are highly qualified Ph.D. graduates from IITs. We have very knowledgeable staff with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and make the students industry ready. The semester exams are very difficult pass percentage is very low 40%.
Other: The reason for choosing this course because we will live exposure in industry which is very interesting than many boring jobs. Labs could be better in our college. Every year we conduct fest department wise for 2 days which very interesting. We have students from out side India as well like from Bhutan, Saudi Arbia etc.

Placements: The median salary package offered during Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad UG (4-year) placements in 2021 was 4.05 LPA. Median salary packages offered during Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad UG (4-year) placements in 2019 and 2020 were 3.75 LPA and 3.65 LPA respectively. During the 2021 placement drive, three students from the CSE branch received placement offers from Microsoft with a salary package of around 41 LPA.
Faculty: Our college has good faculty members.

I don't think you can change the branch, it was there in the past to change the branch if we get some (around 90 percent). The rule has been changed, I think.
