The syllabus is good and the teaching faculty members are very helpful.
Placements: There is no placement cell as such. However, most students start interning from 3rd year, and a lot of them work at the High Court of Kolkata. The last semester includes a mandatory internship for 6 months, during which students can be placed in an office or under a particular advocate.
Infrastructure: There is a canteen which serves different types of food like tea, coffee, maggi, naan ghugni, egg toast, chicken pakoda, etc. There is a library which has a lot of academic books required for our course. There are a lot of hostels and PGs nearby with cheap prices and good quality.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is very much relevant to our legal field. The semester examinations are moderately difficult and manageable. If students devote their time to study. The difficulty of the syllabus increases with each semester.

I want teachers to be more active.
Placements: No placements are given from here. You have to find your own placements. Students search for their own internships in high court Calcutta or from online or from someone source. College doesn't provide placements to students on their own, here students find on their own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Wi-Fi is not available. We have large classrooms. There is a digital library. We also have office area, canteen, and bathroom for males and females but not that clean. There are no smart rooms, and conference hall is there. Auditorium is also available. Hostel is in the main branch of Hazra Law College as per my knowledge. Good food and facilities are provided in the hostel for low fee.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, good, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful but not active. They do not share their numbers. Course is too good and it makes good profession for students. At least they will earn 500 every day. Percentage mark is 33%, and exams are not difficult.
Other: I chose this course because this profession is interesting for girls as they will be able to know their rights. I want placements should be provided to improve in this course. Easy access to books and good books should be published. Events and festivals everything happen in this college.

It is the best government law college in Kolkata.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements. But we are eligible for internships if we have a valid college identity card. It is the best government law college in Kolkata and getting admission in this college is difficult.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not available. Classrooms are very spacious. There are two libraries in this college. Canteen is available. We do not have a great infrastructure but it provides a student-friendly environment. Wi-Fi is not enabled.
Faculty: Our college has a student's union where the members are the students of this college. Our college union is very helpful as compared to teachers. They also provide us with all the study materials required for our course.
Other: Our college union arranges cultural programs, fests, farewells, and many other events.

Best government law college.
Placements: Best government law college out of the four government law colleges in Kolkata. You get internships in courts. Workshops, campaigns, debates, and moot courts take place. Some of the ex-students are now in the top NLUs and some have been judges in the high court.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility provided by our college. You need to rent a p. g nearby. The college provides a library, classrooms are very big and spacious. We have morning college which is a big savior in the summer season. 75 percent attendance is important for sitting in the examination.
Faculty: The teachers along with the seniors are very helpful. The college union provides us with notes and necessary study material. College fees are too less compared to private colleges. The college provides scholarships and takes out excursions. This college is under the University of Calcutta.

It is a well-known college for law.
Placements: Our college provides placement after the completion of graduation and in a quite good percentage. Many companies like TCS, Amazon, etc., offer jobs here. Overall, if you want a placement, then join this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to the mark. The location is quite near bus, metro, and train stations. So it is good. The inner infrastructure is somewhat old and not of this generation. If the infrastructure is not a huge point for you, then you can join it.
Faculty: Faculty members, curriculum, and exams are good here. You have to work hard. Teachers are good as compared to other colleges. You can choose the course according to your needs. This college is mainly for law, but there are also other courses. The teachers and students are good and friendly.
Other: Everything is quite good. The only thing it should improve is its infrastructure.

If you have completed your graduation, then you can go for 3 year LLB under Burdwan University, as Calcutta University does not provide 3year LLB course. BA LLB is for those students who want to pursue directly after class 12th, but you are already graduated, so you can do 3 year LLB.

Yes, definitely you can take admission in law. But as you said, you will be completing your graduation so it would be better if you will go for 3-years LLB instead of 5-years. 3-years LLB is for those who have completed their graduation. 5-years LLB is for those who have completed their higher sec

First of all one has to appear for the BA LL.B entrance exam which is held by Calcutta University in the month of May - June. To get admission in Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College, one needs to rank within 300. Admissions are completely based on the merit list.

Monthly it's Rs 200. They will take nearly Rs 4000 when you first take admission. The numbers may slightly vary because I took admission 3 years back.
