College days at Jyoti Nivas College.
Placements: Jyoti Nivas College has achieved the highest placement records compared to various colleges in Bangalore. Our students received 290 offers last year. All the placed students were appreciated and honored at the end of the year. We also have the opportunity to work as interns in the companies where we are placed while still studying.
Infrastructure: It's a hi-tech college with all the necessary facilities. Throughout my college life, I spent most of my time in the hostel rooms. During semester holidays, I didn't like to go home, but it's compulsory to vacate the hostel during holidays.
Faculty: Our teaching faculty members are highly experienced in their subjects. We have to buy books separately by paying extra fees. They also often arrange special webinars by inviting distinguished guests. We achieved a 96 percent overall academic result in 2023.

JNC is really a good college. The events, fests and competitions conducted are good.
Placements: The highest salary package was 8 LPA and medium package was 4 LPA. Around 80% students got internship in many top companies like Ifortis, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. Top roles offered were financial analyst, compliance analyst, investment bankers and many more.
Infrastructure: All the facilities and infrastructure are available in college for each department like desktop, free Wi-Fi, SMAT boards, library, labs, etc. The food, medical facility and sports were up to the mark. Only high quality products were used in the college for medical facility.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. Employees and managers of different companies are invited to the college to develop skills of students. Students should work really hard and put efforts in order to get a good percentage in semester exams. Around 60-80% is the passing percentage.
Other: The course I chose was B.Com and it is one of the best courses. It gave a lot of insights into different fields. Colleges also encourage students to take part in different extracurricular activities. The college organises fests, different events and the students enjoy them a lot.

I had a very nice experience at this college.
Placements: Amazon, JP Morgan are few of the companies among the list of many companies that come for placement. Many of my friends who sat for placements got a good response from the companies. The pay structure and the percentage requirements are not known by me.
Infrastructure: There is a well-equipped library which has the latest collection of all the books related to various subjects. The classrooms are fully furnished and have good ventilation. There is a gym with various equipment. There is a huge ground for football and basketball.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and approachable. Their subject knowledge and experience makes learning more easy and efficient. Curriculum related assignments are given to understand the concepts better and encourage practical learning. Industrial visits helps students get a real life picture of how an industry functions on a whole.
Other: I wanted to gain more subject knowledge in the commerce field, so took up the course B.Com. The course co-coordinators, faculty members - teaching and non-teaching both are very helpful. The events, fests, Competitions conducted by college are very engaging and give a good social exposure to the students .

The college provides good placements.
Placements: Almost all students from our college have been placed with good salary packages and good roles. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The median salary package offered was 4 LPA. Initially, all the recruiters who visited our campus hire students as interns and then based on their performance, they have offered placements.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure facilities with good bus transportation and well-equipped gyms. Labs are well equipped so that all the students get state-of-the-art facilities at the college. Sports and games are also given a lot of importance in the college, which usually hosts a lot of sports.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well educated and well versed in their field. They are doctorate holders. A lot of faculty members has huge industry experience, which they use in tackling the industry-related problems. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry, and they change it based on time.

I choose JNC to boost your skills and shape your personality and achieve your dreams.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the college where the trainers are professional in skills needed to GET placed. In our batch most of them were placed in Top companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Standard chartered, HDFC etc.,. Salary was from 25000 to 35000/Month. Students with >50% are offered placement.
Infrastructure: We have vast classrooms with CCTV Survelliance. We do have other facilities like Computer labs, Library, Gym, Sports field, Auditorium, Dance class, Choir and Hostel rooms. Hostel warden is very friendly, caring and responsible. Hostel rooms are clean and tidy. College canteen provides tasty food. There will be no issues regarding infrastructures in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very patient and polite while teaching. They help us in understanding each and every topics easily. Teaching quality is excellent! They use PPT'S for teaching and real experiments. The student to faculty ration is 20:1. We do have industrial visits. The course was very useful to achieve my dreams.
Other: There will be atleast one event in the college. They used to conduct small games where we used to participate and recieve gift hapmers. Many fests as well will be conducted like artimis, Scintillation, College Day, Spygmus etc. People with first class can apply for scholarships. I have recieved scholarships too. We have dance fest. Singing. Essay competition, Debate as well. The surroundings are covered with a clinic, Restaurants, Stationary shop etc.

A very nice college with good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: I am still studying in the college, so I don't know much about the placements. My seniors were placed in good companies. The college offers a short-term course for placement which is very helpful in the placements. The external lecturer comes who are really experienced.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. There are a good canteen, library, big classrooms, and sports ground. There was no proper water facility in the washrooms, but now, slowly they are improving on it. The auditorium is really good with good capacity. The college has a lot of trees that makes it even better.
Faculty: There are good faculty members. The teachers are very experienced and friendly. They make us feel comfortable in the class. The courses have a lot of assignments that help us in getting practical knowledge. Some part of the syllabus is outdated. Both academic and non-academic activities are good here.
Other: I am pursuing my CA, so the only thing I find fault is that the CA students are not given any relief like few other regular colleges.

No importance and poor in placements, toilets are unhygienic.
Placements: The placements are bad, as they do not show any interest. Companies were not good either. The college has a placement course for which they charged Rs. 4000 which is of no use and students who had taken up the placement course were allowed to attend the placements. They rarely educate the students related to placements.
Infrastructure: Toilets are very unhygienic, most of the times the flushes don't work and a majority of the time there is no water in the bathrooms, benches are in lousy shape. Overall, they are not good; the corridors are cleaned only once in the morning and by the end of the day it’s a mess again.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, but a few unprofessional teachers are also there. The teaching methods used were very mediocre and not at all interesting for the students. There were no proper projectors in college for conducting presentations. I had no exposure to the industry or the corporate world; just a book knowledge.
