One of the best law colleges of Calcutta University.
Placements: However, truly speaking, there are no placements because it is a law course, and everything has to be done on your own. Placements are generally not offered by the college; if they are, it may be only 2-3 lakhs per year. Companies like law firms and the corporate sector may not be well-known to me as an advocate.
Infrastructure: Our college has a big campus; everything is fine here, including a good library, moot court, and I must recommend it. We get free Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are neat and clean. The washrooms are also clean. In our college, there are separate hostels for girls and boys, and a canteen is available for food. Emergency medical facilities are also available, along with indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, the exam system is very clear, and there is no harassment. Yes, B.A. LL.B. is a highly reputed course, and advocates are very much respected. It is relevant. Since it is a legal profession, the exams are hard; you just have to study and pass the semester. The pass percentage is 30%. Teachers are good. I would recommend joining this college.
Other: After completing high school, I wanted to become a lawyer, so I chose to do a B.A. LL.B. Everything is good; Aweshan is our annual fest, with many games, programs, and shows happening. It is very enjoyable.

My experience at Jyotirmoy School of Law.
Placements: Almost 77%. The highest was 50,000/month, and the lowest was 15,000/month. Renowned legal firms came to our college, and during Covid days, they used to contact through emails or phone calls. 100% of our students got equal opportunities to complete their internships under advocates. Moot Court, field survey, court visit.
Infrastructure: Clean classrooms, Wi-Fi available only in the library. Every classroom has a projector and comfortable seating facilities. Sports and games were conducted during the college fest, which is the International Law Festival, named "Anweshan". Hostel provides food three times a day - breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and friendly. They explained topics in a way that was easy to understand, even though the medium was English, but we did not face any problem. Yes. Pass Percentage is 40, and each subject requires 45 marks to qualify in semester examination as this college is affiliated with Calcutta University.

Review of Jyotirmoy School of Law.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. There are no such packages for this course. We can be good lawyers and get jobs in any law firm we want. Some of our college students are now supreme court lawyers and some are judges also. Almost 99% of students got placed in our course. We can be the judge of the supreme court through this course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned and have comfortable seats. CCTV cameras are also installed in our classrooms. It is an anti-ragging campus. Our college has a huge library. Hostels are also good, and the food quality is average. It has a gym. It also provides a huge football ground.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. After finishing our course we can easily get a bar association license by which we can practice law anywhere in India. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 94%. Semester exams are rated as one of the toughest exams in India.
