Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) - Batch of 2026
4.8

It has a vibrant campus, strong academics, supportive faculty members, and events.
Placements: 40% of students got placed in the MS course. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.9 LPA. 70% of students got internships in companies such as InSync Analytics India Pvt. Ltd., Morning Star, and SSC, acting as top recruiters. Top recruiting companies for our course are InSync Analytics, Morning Star, and SSC. The lowest package offered is 2.75 LPA, and the highest package offered is 3.50 LPA for BMS freshers. Roles are offered in sales, telecalling, marketing, and finance. Internships and job offers are mainly from retail or sales-driven companies.
Infrastructure: The sprawling campus is landscaped with a walking path and greenery. It features VIP fibre optic and 24x7 line internet. Wi-Fi access is reported to be limited mostly to the computer labs and not general. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors and audiovisual aids. Multiple auditoriums and seminar halls are used for guest lectures, cultural events, and internal workshops. The college has multiple air-conditioned computer labs and a language lab of 30 seats for communication skills training. There is also a psychology lab and a computer lab tailored for visually impaired students. There is a central canteen and cafeteria offering snacks and meals. The food is tasty but somewhat pricey.
Faculty: Many faculty members hold postgraduate degrees, and some are PhD holders. Students describe them as highly qualified and deeply knowledgeable. Teachers are frequently described as supportive, solving doubts, and offering remedial sessions and extra practice where needed, generally clear and structured. Some students describe the delivery as advanced and engaging, though a few indicate average effectiveness for certain subjects. Course topics include contemporary elements like AI, ML, and data analysis, making them aligned with current trends. It has a standard university pattern with internal assessment (40%) and semester exams (60%). The pass percentage is usually around 35-40%.
Other: It was my personal choice. I had an interest in management activities, so I decided to study management and make a career out of it.

Bachelors of Mass Media - Batch of 2025
4.2

Good exposure and placements for media students but some areas need improvement .
Placements: I did my B.M.M. from KG Joshi College of Arts and NG Bedekar College of Commerce. Placements were decent overall. Around 70% of students got placed. The highest package was around 7 LPA, the lowest about 2.4 LPA, and the average about 3.5 LPA. Companies like Lokmat, Viacom18, and Zee Media came for recruitment. Around 80% of students got internships either on their own or through the college in the same companies. Most of the roles offered were content writing, digital marketing, journalism, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was pretty decent. Classrooms were clean and had projectors. We had access to a media lab, though it could be better equipped. The library was great, with enough books and resources for our course. Our college doesn't have its hostel, but some students live in nearby PGs, so I can't comment on hostel life. The canteen food was okay, not amazing, but decent and affordable. There's also a Nescafe on our campus where some of us hang out. Sports facilities were good with a turf, playground, gym, and indoor games.
Faculty: The faculty for B.M.M. were very good. We had teachers that were very helpful and experienced and made the lectures interesting. Overall the teaching quality was pretty good. The curriculum is relevant and gives a good base if you? Re planning to get into media advertising or journalism. But honesty you need to take internships or projects to really become industry ready. Just classroom learning is not enough. Semester exams were not too difficult If you studied properly and revised enough and paid attention in class. Pass percentage was high. Most students passed without any issue .
Other: I was a part of B.M.M. batch of 2025. I chose this course because I was always interested in media and content creation. The best part about the course was exposure, we got to work on practical projects, presentations and campaigns that helped us learn and gain confidence. The crowd was fun and creative. I wish there were more workshops and guest lectures from professionals from the industry. The college hosts some amazing fests like Gandharva. Campus crowd and life was hill and nice. Extracurricular activities were encouraged and scholarships were offered to students who applied and MET the criteria.

Not satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: There is no placement provided to us by the college since there is a placement cell in the college. The placement cell is used for BMS students and other course students. They didn't provide us with internships either, and half of the students are still unemployed after college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Although they provide a canteen and one sports clubhouse where we can play carrom and chess, there are no such types of facilities like Wi-Fi. The classrooms are also average; there is one blackboard and benches, just that all. Although there is one seminar hall in which you have one projector, that’s it. There is also one library in the college which people use most of the time. The college also provides SC and ST caste students free textbooks for them. But after the semester, the books are handed over to the library.
Faculty: Talking about teachers, some teachers are really knowledgeable and very good at teaching, but some are not. The college has the worst faculty I have ever seen because the faculty doesn't treat people or students properly. Also, they talk very rudely with everyone. But now, I will give faculty 3 out of 10. The system of curriculum and exams is okay and average, like every college.
Other: The college and the campus are pretty good, but the faculty and the teaching style of some teachers are not that good. Also, they don't teach in a practical language to the students. The college also has the worst fest I have ever seen because they are not well-organized. Bedekar College is known for its campus, but the college doesn't utilize its campus properly. Although they have a very big campus, the crowd is also average. Talking about the scholarship, the college has a scholarship for ST, SC, and OBC, which is good for them.

Nice college with nice campus.
Placements: There were nice placements provided by the college. The package started from 5 LPA to 25 LPA, those who were lucky got the placement from the college itself. Others were just struggling in life.
Infrastructure: There was avarage infrastructure. I live nearby the college so I did not know about the hostel. But college canteen was good, they gave affordable food with nice quantity.
Faculty: I have done online exams so it was fun. We had only given our exam in the first year after that we had given the online exams only. Teachers gave nice study material before exam so it did help to study the subjects. Passing percentage in college was 35%, you will get passed easily. Teachers and principals were also very helpful to the students.
Other: I love the campus of the college. There were lots of fun activities that also happened in winter like Gandharva festival.

The journey at N.G. Bedekar College of Commerce: academic, growth and campus life.
Placements: 50-60% of students get placed in my course. I do not know about the highest and the lowest packages. The average package is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Younity, Zell Education, and other banks visit the college for placements. 40% of students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. The campus of my college is large and open. It is covered with trees and grass. It feels very refreshing and peaceful. Wi-Fi is not available to students. Other facilities are well-provided. The canteen area and sports ground are well-constructed.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching method of teachers is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant for real life and it makes students industry-ready. 95% of students pass exams. Exams are easy if students are well prepared.
Other: I chose this course because I scored higher marks in the accounts subject as compared to other subjects. Events like Navrang are organised in which days are divided into themes and students have to dress accordingly. This event is mostly in December. Many other events are also organised like Gandharva, seminars like penny wise, etc.

Review of K.G. Joshi College of Art and N.G. Bedekar College of Commerce.
Placements: Around 20% or very less students are able to get placements due to their O grade marks and many students pursue some professional courses along with it. They do those things because a person can get a minimum package that ranges from 2-3 LPA at starting.
Infrastructure: Facilities they provide are the best according to them but some facilities are not available for us. There are 2 sections (aided & unaided) especially in B.Com we are in the unaided section. We are not able to get admission in the aided section. The fee is slightly higher than the aided section.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and they are getting paid also very well by the college. They do not teach according to their capability. They will only teach if you talk to them personally. If you build your personal relationships with them then they guide you otherwise do not expect from them.
Other: I was pursuing my CA course so I was looking for a college near my CA classes which was in Mulund (JK Shah) so I went to MCC ( Mulund College of Commerce. There I was not able to get admission so I came to pursue my degree here and got admission at Bedekar College.
