Need about K.K Polytechnic College.

Placements: As I am in first year and I have not received any paid internship. I got the digital internship but I did not get a certificate. But college tries to give skills and knowledge on how to grab an internship and placement from outside, if they do not get placed on campus or are not satisfied with college placement. Campus placements are limited. Students usually become eligible from 5th to 6th semester, but very few big companies visit for core commerce roles. Some students get placed in small firms with decent starting salaries.

Infrastructure: Hostel will provide you with three options: two seater room, three seater room, and four seater room. In room, you will get bed, cupboard, chair, table, fan, etc., according to the number of people living in the room. Registration process is easy as you have to register while having admission. Mess food quality is below average.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good and maintain a friendly nature with students. Principal is also very approachable and maintains a good relationship with students while being strict during college hours. Most faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees in their respective subjects. Faculty members are very good and supportive. They help the students with every problem. They give a solution to the problem. HOD sir is very helpful, and the rules are very good like there is no misbehavior towards others. The course is divided into 6 semesters (3 years).

Other: When I was in my second year of intermediate, my lecturer recommended this college and guided me in choosing a suitable course.

Placements: At Thapar, about 90% of children are placed. The Infosys branch in Thapar is one of the top-notch companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, and many more, offering packages up to 40 LPA and some startup placement too. The average package is about 10 LPA, while the lowest is given by the mass recruiters, like 3-5 LPA. Management and technical jobs were offered mainly.

Infrastructure: The campus looks great, and high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. A well-equipped library is also available in Thapar with an ample amount of books and is fully air-conditioned. Telling about hostels, they get old and don't have air conditioners; only a fan is there. Food is good in the mess. The canteen has so many things available. The library and classrooms are also good.

Faculty: Teachers, as far as I feel, are average. The IQ of the teachers is too good. They show interest while teaching. Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers do not pay attention to the weak students. You have to ask them to clarify the doubts. An audio-visual facility is available. The course curriculum is autonomous here. The curriculum is quite easy.

Other: Other: The fest organised here is awesome, too much enjoying and refreshing. I chose this course because of my deep interest in mechanical engineering The scope of embryo of improvement is only on the part of teacher.

Placements: Around 13 out of 60 students got placed in college. Him Technoforge and Badi are the top companies that visited the campus for recruitment. Several roles were offered to students. From the previous batch, many of the students got placed in college. Most of them were placed in Him Technoforge. It is a great place to learn and get advanced knowledge.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided, and labs are available for every subject. A library is also available. The hostel is also good, but I don't like the food served. Sports activities are also good. Students are well-treated in everything, and you get experience in every bit. It is the best place for education.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good, except for a few. I am satisfied with the teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and students are industry-ready. Some teachers do not behave well. Overall, it is a great place to learn. I am satisfied with the college for a Diploma.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in technical work and machine learning. There is nothing to improve. Many events are organized every year. Scholarships are only for reserved categories. We didn't get any scholarships.

Placements: Students who score 60% marks are eligible for placements. The highest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 1.5-1.8 LPA. Many companies visit our college, like Godrej, RMC, Voltas, and Mahindra Motors. The top recruiting company for the mechanical course is RMC. Internships are also offered in top companies.

Infrastructure: I would rate 5 stars for facilities and infrastructure because it is good. Our classrooms are well-maintained. It also provides a library. Our campus is huge. Classrooms are big, airy, and well-ventilated without any other notice. Our college Wi-Fi is fast only for students who have an ID and a password. The canteen is also good in college.

Faculty: All teachers are experienced, well-qualified, and helpful. Our college is autonomous, so the syllabus is set by the institute, and all chapters are approached skill-based. Foreign languages like Chinese and German are also available at our college. Semester exams are difficult. All faculty members are well-educated, and they teach very well in classrooms. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready because it gives industry practice in college.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in vehicles and electric vehicles. It organises a one-week fest each year. We enjoy film, web series, and TV series shooting on campus, and we also meet celebrities. Workshops are also conducted in our college. I chose this course because I wanted to become a loco pilot. Due to this course, i.e., Diploma in mechanical engineering, I am able to give an exam for that post.

Placements: There is a batch of 60 students in this course, and some students join in the second year. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies like Tata, Adani, Schneider Electric, Siemens, etc., visit the college for placements. The top role offered is a supervisor. I don't know the exact percentage of students who got internships, but it depends on students' performance in exams. Students got placed in our course, i.e., mechanical engineering. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Vertiv, etc.

Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure, and the campus is huge. There are a lot of canteens. The food is good. It has Wi-Fi-enabled labs. There are different sections for sports. The library is well-maintained, and the librarians are good. Everything is good in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. The 1st and 2nd semesters are easy, and the 3rd to 6th semesters are difficult, depending on students. If we study for almost 2-3 hours a day at home, then there's no problem in passing exams. Teachers are good here.

Other: There are a lot of fests inside the campus. Sports are conducted every year, and exhibitions are also held.
