Review of K.K. Polytechnic College, Dhanbad.

Placements: A total of 98% of students were placed in my course. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Mahindra, Lexus, Ford, etc. The top roles offered in my course are HR and Assistant Manager. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. A total of 95% of students got internships in my course at Tata Motors.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my course/department include full-speed Wi-Fi for official use only. Labs are big and well-cleaned, and classrooms are big and properly ventilated. The library is well-stocked with books. The quality of facilities available in my hostel is acceptable, and the quality of food in the mess and canteen is good. Medical and sports facilities are also available on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and well-knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and friendly. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is neither hard nor easy. It is moderate. Teachers here are highly qualified to teach anything to make the future better. They practice examples to explain the topic with real things. Mostly, teachers from IITs visit to solve most of the questions, and any teacher is helpful to solve any doubt.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a great interest in the mechanical engineering field. I wish the syllabus's difficulty would be reduced. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, and scholarships are well available.

Need about K.K. Polytechnic College, Dhanbad.

Placements: Last year, the placement was not good. The highest package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.2 LPA. There is no placement cell. 5 to 6 percent of the students have been placed, and the average salary was 3.25 LPA. All the students have done their internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good, no doubt about it. The facilities provided are drinking water, a playing ground, a basketball court, a stage for programme functions, a bank, and an ATM, all of which are available on our college campus. The bus facilities are also available. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. There is no Wi-Fi connection provided for the students, not even for the hostel students.

Faculty: Teachers are good. They are very helpful, but their quality is not better. I mean to say that here, the teachers are not able to speak English with confidence, but they have knowledge of their own paper. I didn't get industry exposure. The course is not completed in time.

Other: I want to be an engineer from the 8th standard. When I passed the 12th standard, I came here to take admission in mechanical engineering. I have chosen a mechanical engineering course because I want to be an automobile engineer. Our college conducts events every year, such as in 2017, 2018, etc.

Placements: About 70 percent of students get placements from our course. In our college, the highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Companies visit our college to select freshers to build their future. Big and small companies like Paytm, Tata, Wipro, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college include Wi-Fi facility with 35 MB high-speed. Labs are well-developed, like they have the mechanical and civil engineering branch required machines, a computer lab with high technology, and an electronics lab. Classrooms are well-designed and divided into sections to provide a great learning experience.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified to teach anything to make the future better. They provide examples to explain the topic with real things. Mostly, teachers from IITs visit to solve most of the questions, and any teacher is helpful to solve any doubt.

Other: Our college organises many fests, meetings, and group discussions to give suggestions to students on how to improve their knowledge and overcome problems. Many companies should provide meetup facilities for students. Scholarships are provided, i.e., approximately 2 lakhs from the government. Football and cricket competitions are provided for healthcare and fitness purposes. Blood donation camps and company meetups are also conducted.

Review of KK Polytechnic College, Dhanbad.

Placements: Around 75 percent of students from my college got placed. Tata Steel is one of the top companies that recruited students from the Electrical branch, offering the role of associate trainee. The highest package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. More than 60 percent of students also secured internships in various companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. Wi-Fi facilities are available on campus, along with a good drinking water system for students. There is a library where students can borrow books for a certain period. Hostel facilities are good in terms of mess food, rooms, and air-conditioning. Medical facilities are also available, and there is a sports ground where students can play freely.

Faculty: The teachers are good and teach in an effective manner. They are qualified and knowledgeable, but sometimes they do not provide enough study material during exams. The course is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are quite difficult. In the first year, most faculty members teach very well. Although a few faculty members are not as effective in teaching, they are lenient in giving marks. Our coordinator is very supportive and gives us sufficient time and guidance.

Placements: The placement cell at K. K Polytechnic works in favour of the students as companies like Mahindra, Bajaj Motors, Yazari, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, etc., come to the university to recruit students. Internships are usually taken up by students through personal sources, but it is compulsory for the course. Although the college provides you with campus internship recruitments, it also presents opportunities and provides guidance.

Infrastructure: Facilities present at the campus are the library, gym, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, amphitheatre, etc. Classrooms have a capacity of around 60 to 70 students. A canteen and a stationery shop are present on campus, and security is not tight but good. I like sitting in an amphitheatre. The football ground is nice to play on.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members have PhDs. They use PPTs for teaching us. Most of them are good at problem solving, patient, and willing to teach. Faculty is very approachable, good-natured, and will help you personally if needed. So overall, average faculty with a good approachable nature and good theoretical knowledge. Students are expected to self-study.

Placements: In my college, there are placements. They conduct placement training for students. They have various seminars for enhancing their skills. 4 LPA to 5 LPA packages are offered to the students. Currently, I am in my second year, so I am not participating in the placement activity. A good number of students are taking part in the college every year. The percentage of students getting placements is lower than in previous years. In the two years, the college has provided help to crack the placement interviews. They arrange mock interviews for students. Academics in KKP Dhanbad go very well.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best in kkp Dhanbad, and new buildings are being formed. Classrooms are pretty modern and well-developed. Canteen food is okay and edible. Sports facilities are just awesome here, covering every sport. Security is also good. The hostel facilities are good enough, and the main thing is that the surroundings are so good for studying. In the hostel room, you will get two beds and two almirahs for two students and an attached bathroom. The meal quality is not so bad, but you can adjust to the meal as time passes. There are different meals.

Faculty: College faculty have their expertise in our field. They teach us while demonstrating with real-life examples. Most of the professor had their respective degrees and have at least 10 to 15 years of experience in teaching & have very good communication skills. The method may vary from professor to professor, but most of them teach on whiteboards, while others use a projector in the classroom. My experience with college faculty is good as they provide very good knowledge to us. Faculty members here are very experienced and have been working for a long time. They have industry connections.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in my department include a high-speed and 24x7 Wi-Fi connection. Labs are fully neat and properly ventilated. Classrooms are big, neat, and clean. The library is fully ventilated and big. All previous or updated books are available there.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are neither very tough nor very easy. In my college, the pass percentage is 97. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
