B.E. in Biomedical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.0
College has solid Biomedical Engineering labs and helpful faculty.
Placements: Around 65-70% of students in Biomedical Engineering got placed from our batch. The highest package is 6 LPA, the average is 3.2 LPA, and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. Top recruiters included GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers, and Philips. About 60% got internships in hospitals and med-tech firms. Top roles offered are Service Engineer, Clinical Application Specialists, and R&D Trainee.
Infrastructure: Biomedical Engineering has well-equipped labs like instrumentation, Biomechanics, and Biosensors with ECG, EEG, and a patient monitor. College has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and digital library access. Hostels are clean with 24/7 water/power. Hygienic mess food is provided. Medical centre and sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Biomedical Engineering faculty are M.Tech/PhD qualified and supportive in labs and projects. Teaching mixes theory with hands-on demos on medical devices. Curriculum covers Medical Instrumentation, Imaging, and Bio-signal. Exams are moderately tough. The pass percentage is around 70-75%.
Other: I chose Biomedical Engineering for its mix of healthcare and tech. The best part is hands-on work with ECG/EEG and real devices. More hospital internships would help. The campus has active tech fests, clubs, and decent placements. The crowd is friendly here.
