B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

This is the best college in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: Karur College of Engineering was one of the best engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Every year, this college provides 100% placements. India's best companies, like Reliance, HCL, TCS, etc., came to this college to conduct campus interviews. The salary offered ranged from Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 100,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent. Many classrooms were available. Many laboratories and a library were available at this college. Hostel facilities were available for boys and girls. The mess food was very hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers were very friendly. They taught us well. They conduct many exams every week. All students easily passed their semester exams with good marks. Over 95% of students passed university exams. Teachers conducted many practical classes, so students easily understood the lessons.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering. All students in our batch are placed in good companies. This college gives many scholarships to all students every year.
