It's more like an average annoying college.
Placements: Less than 60 percent of students were placed. College roles are assigned, such as general secretary of the student council, treasurer, and sports head. However, the college is not an engineering or IT college, so we can't expect companies to come to the campus. The main goal of the college is to get a PG seat in a good college, but that is not happening.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in any part of the campus library. The air conditioning in the classrooms is only partially working. The hostel is a blunder. There is no privacy and the administration is not very good. The food quality is somewhat good, but when it comes to hygiene, it is a disaster. The administration people are very egotistical.
Faculty: The course curriculum is not relevant to the industry. The pass percentage is good at around 95%. The teachers are knowledgeable but lazy. They always talk about what they feel is right, and there is no place for your opinion. We can't even oppose them because we need them during our internals.
Other: I chose this course by my wish, but it turned out to be my curse.

If you just want to pursue MBBS from a government college.
Placements: In an internship, you will get 30 thousand per month. After that, you will get your MBBS degree.
Infrastructure: The college is having a well-developed library with all the books available. Classrooms are air-conditioned. It is attached to the district hospital with all basic facilities. Mess food is not up to the mark. There is a beach in front of the college.
Faculty: Some teachers teach really well and are dedicated to teaching. Some teachers have a really good style of teaching which makes all our concepts clear. MBBS is itself one of the most renowned courses in India, that too from a government college is a big thing.

Review of Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences, Karwar.
Placements: In this college, interns get Rs 30,000 per month. It is a government medical college so commenting about placements doesn't make sense. After MBBS, students have to do 1-year rural service. Not a single student will remain unemployed after having an MBBS degree.
Infrastructure: Food is not up to the mark in this college. The classrooms are comfortable. The library opened till 7.00 PM, and all books are available because students cannot issue them to take hostel.
Faculty: Maximum teachers here are willingly teaching with their full efforts. Some of them are good at explanations. Once students hear them they will remember those concepts. Semester exams are moderately difficult. More than 90% of students pass.
Other: It is a government MBBS college. It is situated in Karwar near the naval base. Karwar beach is just 200 meters apart. Goa is just a 1-hour journey from this college.
