    My extraordinary college MIMS.
Placements: The placement after the course of MBBS is very good because any MBBS graduate gets a well paid job after it. Also, MBBS graduates can apply for NEET PG exam where they can get admission to post graduation for any subject of MBBS. So the post MBBS students from my college gets a well paid job easily.
Infrastructure: As my college is a government-run college, infrastructure of college is well-maintained. Our college has a central library which has all the features including the digital library. Our campus also has facilities of hostel for both boys and girls which is well-maintained.
Faculty: Our college is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). Our college follows the standard rules of the RGUHS. Our study curriculum is based on the CBME (Competency-based Medical Education). Exam papers in my course are slightly hard and passing in exam is easy.
Other: Our batch contains 150 members. I chose this MBBS course because a doctor is respected at a higher position in our society.

    Everything about Mandya Medical College.
Placements: I'm studying MBBS in a medical college in Mandya. You have to do an internship after the four years of the course, during which you will be paid 30,000 as a stipend. After that, you will receive your degree or license as a legal medical practitioner, allowing you to join any hospital as a doctor or open your own clinic and earn a minimum of 70,000 based on your capacity and knowledge of the subject.
Infrastructure: Our college follows a modern education method where teachers prepare their own PPTs, display them, and explain with the help of the slides. Since the class size is around 150, you might not be able to pay proper attention. The hostel facilities are kind of okay, but not that good.
Faculty: Talking about the teachers, there’s no doubt they are well qualified because it’s a government medical college. However, they don’t give proper attention to students, which is common in government colleges. The curriculum is structured by RUGHS and is called CBME, which is actually pretty good and helpful, being clinical and practical-oriented.
Other: I chose medicine because it has a minimum number of seats, so the number of students studying is less, which means better job opportunities.

The real fate of the government medical college in Karnataka.
Placements: There are 150 members per batch. All students should do rural service for one year in Karnataka state. We will get a minimum salary of Rs. 50,000 per month. As we pass the final year, we will be posted to internships with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month, and in rural service, it is Rs. 50,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college has a hostel, but it is not good. Our college has moderate classrooms, and not high-level classrooms. Our college has a good central library where we can go and study. Free Wi-Fi is available in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified but some are irritating and are not student friendly. They are manageable as teachers' help is not much needed in the degree life. The semester or the yearly exams are good. Internal exams are a little tough compared to the final exams. Faculty members are moderate not such a high level faculty members are there.
Other: MBBS course is too long. It should be a little reduced and the number of college days should also be reduced.

A quick review of the state medical college
Placements: I'm now studying in the first year of MBBS, and about 150 students are allotted seats every year here. At the end of the MBBS course, we need to complete a one-month internship, which provides a salary of about 30,000. We must clear the university examinations to be eligible for the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but old, including the hostel. We are given three-sharing rooms with all necessary facilities, including a table, chair, and cupboard. The library, classrooms, and laboratories are well-maintained. There is also a ground on the college campus.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive, guiding, and motivating us throughout the course. We have three internal assessments, with theory and practical exams conducted by the college. We need a minimum of fifty percent in both theory and practical exams.
Other: The campus is always crowded due to the government hospital located on-site, which has a high patient inflow compared to other government hospitals and colleges. Various activities and fests are conducted every year on the college campus. We also have well-accessible transport around the college.

MIMS is very good for learning, apart from hostel and mess.
Placements: Internship will be there for last year of our course. And we will be appointed as junior doctors in our own college hospital. The current salary for internship is 32000 per month. There will be many shifts like 12 hours, 24 hours even a 36-hour shift sometimes. And many others will choose private hospital like Vydehi, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a separate library and reading room in college with Wi-Fi. Very spacious classrooms. Good equipment in the lab. Food quality is not at all good, and that is unhygienic. Menu will be repeated weakly once, hostel! Maintenance fee is 25300 and monthly Mess bill is around 3500-4000. Should be paid, which is unworthy compared to the PG that is nearby to us.
Faculty: Qualifications of faculty members are that they also completed moos and PG; their teaching method is somewhat good; with the help of pot, they will project everything and teach us. Yearly, once final university exams will be conducted, internal assessments will be conducted to check eligibility for university exams.
Other: This is the course where we can help people and save people.

It is one of the best medical colleges in Karnataka, MIMS, Mandya.
Placements: MIMS is a government institution for medical students. It has 4 years of education and one year of internship in the same government hospital with a monthly salary. After that, students usually take another NEET PG exam to choose their post-graduation courses.
Infrastructure: The main college campus is one single building with 6 floors, including the basement, with a terrace above the 4th floor. It has the first herbal and terrace garden in Karnataka. All the classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and mics. The hostel is average, each room accommodates 3 people with a separate cot and table, a wardrobe, and an attached bathroom. Mess food is good, the menu doesn't change much. Extracurricular activities are well supported.
Faculty: The teachers are all doctors who are master's degree or basic MBBS degree holders. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is very apt for a medical student. There is a lot of patient interaction in the hospital and case-taking, which makes us ready to be doctors. Each year there are 4 exams, three of which are internals and the last is the final exam. The pass percentage is 50% for all exams.
Other: MBBS is a course that is great for all science lovers. The best thing is to become a doctor and help people. The college holds many events like the annual sports meet, pre-graduation and graduation day, cultural fest, and Kannada Rajyotsava events.
