MBBS is the top course offered by the KMC.It offers degree and doctoral programs in the discipline of surgery, medicine, super speciality and many more.

Kasturba Medical College is a well-known medical college in India that offers a wide variety of medical courses. Both KMC Manipal and KMC Mangalore offer MBBS courses in Medicine & Surgery, apart from a few UG Elective courses. KMC Manipal conducts postgraduate medical courses in 55 disciplines, while KMC Mangalore offers a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine - a diabetes care training program.

KMC Manipal accepts the NEET PG entrance examination cutoff results for admission to the MD course and its various specialisations. 

Students need to secure a rank below 16, 8692 in round 3, as the cutoff ranged from 4555 to 168692 for the General AI category. Please remember that other categories and rounds will have different cutoffs accordingly. 

MET is a private engineering entrance exams by students. Therefore, its difficulty level of MET is high. Students who have qualified 12th standard examination are eligible to participate in the exam and have the chance to qualify if they prepare according to official syllabus. Syllabus is similar to 12th standard syllabus. Candidates will be assessed on their knowledge in various topics in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

The NEET 2025 result is expected to be released in the first week of June 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. NTA does not announce the NEET result date in advance. Although last year the result date was stated to be declared on June 14, NTA released it 10 days in advance. Hence, there is no fixed date or schedule for NTA to declare the NEET result. Prior to the declaration of the result, NTA releases the final NEET answer key. Last year, NEET was conducted on May 5 and the result was declared June 4.

Applicants cannot get direct admission in any of the undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty or fellowship programme offered by the college. The college accepts the scores and rank of multiple entrance examinations. Candidates must appear for NEET UG for admission in MBBS programme, NEET PG for MD programmes. Manipal Entrance Test/ department tests are also conducted for admission in the BSc, MSc,   MPT, and others.

As per the MET syllabus, the candidates will have to study Mathematics, Physics Chemistry and English. The various topics and units of the syllabus that has to be studied for the examination is released through the syllabus of MET. It is to be noted that the MET syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination. Candidates are advised to check the official exam pattern to know how the questions were divided into question paper sections.

To join Kasturba Medical College, candidates must appear and qualify in the NEET-PG. After qualifying in the exam, candidates can apply for direct admission in MBBS at Kasturba Medical College through management quota and NRI seats. The college is affiliated with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

For KMC Manipal MBBS cutoff 2024, the NEET UG Round 3 closing rank is 36053 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Comparing it with the previous year cutoffs, a fluctuating trend can be visible in the cutoff released year-wise. The 2023 and 2022 cutoffs were 26397 and 45442, respectively, in 2024.
