Strong placements and modern infrastructure but the curriculum needs more industry updates.

Placements: Kongu Engineering College, batch 2026 placement rate is 95 percent. The highest package is 64 LPA, the average is 6 LPA-8 LPA, and the lowest is up to 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Google, Bosch, Trustrace, etc., and top roles are software engineers and data analysts.

Infrastructure: Our department has smart projectors, Wi-Fi connectivity, and the central library has extensive books, journals, etc. Hostel facilities and rooms are of good quality with free Wi-Fi connectivity, regular housekeeping, and the mess food is of good hygiene.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, many holding PhDs. They are helpful, approachable, and knowledgeable in core engineering. Semester exams are moderately difficult internal assessments, lab exams, and model tests with regular study and faculty providing notes and question banks.

The way to the success of your life.

Placements: 85 to 90 percent top students are placed in top companies. The highest package in my course is 15LPA and the lowest package in my course is 6LPA and the average package offered in my course is 8 to 9LPA. Bahwan CyberTek and Cognizant are the companies recruiting for my course. The college is good for placement.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very neat. Library has all the books and faculty members are very friendly. Wi-Fi is also available and hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess is okay. Good sports games are available in college disciplines and are neat.

Faculty: There are three internal test and these internal marks are added in semester colleges. A little bit strict you must follow the regulations.. College is autonomous college and after the internal test semester will be conducted.

Other: Cultural events are there.

It is very good, placement offers, very nice hostel and infrastructure.

Placements: We have offers from companies like Tata and Google etc. The best companies we want. 70 percent are in this group. The highest package is 2 LPA, the average package is 80000, and the minimum package is 50000. The top roles are web development and software design.

Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure are very nice. The infrastructure is very green so we can learn peacefully. In hostel one teacher will be allocated for the students. The hostel food is of very good quality. We have a medical center in our college. In our college they give importance to sports.

Faculty: We have internal and semester exam In exam time, staff give motivation to learn more about the subject. The course curriculum is 7 periods in a day, and once a week we have a play. The semester exam is easy if we study will pass. The pass percentage is 50 percent.

Other: I chose this group because I am interested in computer application so I chose this course. Those who are interested in computer applications will join this college.

Kongu Engineering College is good, but this college is located on the outskirts of Erode.

Placements: I don't know the exact placement percentage. I think it is around 75% in my department. In my department, the average salary is approximately 3–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, TCS, ZOHO, Infosys, and Soliton. Service-based roles are a major in my department.

Infrastructure: The campus is green and eco-friendly and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. In classrooms, teachers teach on a smartboard. The library is neat and clean, and students maintain silence. There are nearly 7,000 books available, which give knowledge to students.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They clear every doubt with an explanation. The curriculum is good. They provide more training for placements, but students feel more stressed. They also make students go for industry visits even in the first year. I am a first-year student, and I have not faced any semester exams yet.

Placements: 80 percent of students are being placed with an average package of 23 LPA, and the lowest package is 5.5 LPA. L&T and Bosch are coming for placement. Around 78 percent of people are getting internships, and all is fine. Team leader and other posts, like manager, are being offered as top positions.

Infrastructure: Faculty members with Ph.D. degrees and M.Tech are being selected to teach. Multi-facility labs are available in the college with many equipment. Faculty: Teachers are very good at helping with academic and other activities. Teachers are well-qualified and educated in all things. The curriculum is relevant to the subject. It makes the student industry-ready. Semester exams happen every 6 months.

Other: Cultural events are happening every 6 months, and sports events, teach fusion, and hackathons occur as well.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the quality of food provided by the canteen and hostel.

Placements: About 80 percent of the students are getting placed in the BE computer science and design course. The salary packages offered by the Kongu Engineering College: the highest package is 24.5 LPA, the lowest package is 6.5 LPA, and average package is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for the computer science and design course are Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Around 60-70 percent of CSD students get internship offers during their course period, and the companies include CTS, TCS, Infosys, Zoho, etc. Popular roles for CSD graduates include software engineer, data scientist, artificial intelligence/machine learning, engineer cloud solutions, architect, mobile app developer, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities like Wi-Fi, lab, classrooms, etc., are pretty good. The quality of the food provided by the mess and canteen is not good. The sports and games facilities provided by the college are good as they give equal importance to both studies and games.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and they are technically strong. The course is relevant to the curriculum but it is too vast. Semester exams are a bit tough, and everyone needs out of the box knowledge to crack the exams. The pass percentage of the computer science and design at Kongu Engineering College is around 70 percent.

Other: I chose computer science and design because my ambition is to become a software engineer. They could give an accurate curriculum for learning in order to learn a vast amount. The campus surroundings are maintained well.
