Our college is very good for studies.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Tata, etc. Internships are also offered at TCS company.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are better. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Laboratory and classrooms are also clean. Auditorium is also average, and it looks like a mini waterfall.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good in our college. We understand the topics clearly. The relationship between faculty members and students is good.

Other: Our college is very peaceful.

KIET is a stepping stone for success.

Placements: KIET is the best place for good placements. Students without backlogs all are placed at different IT companies. Almost 80-85% of the students got placed from my branch ECE. The average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Our college has more than 350 recruiters. Almost 80% of the students got internships in IT companies and start-up companies.

Infrastructure: KIET gives a number of opportunities to prove yourself. Infrastructure is well-structured. The quality of food in the canteen or in the mess is very good and tasty to eat. Medical facilities are good. Sports students can go up to the state level. Labs, classrooms and the library are well-structured, neat and clean.

Faculty: Teachers participate in key roles in KIET academics they all come from IBM company they are skilled and well-qualified, and most of the faculty members are PhD doctorates. The teaching method is very good. This course is relevant to students who want to work at the industry level. Exams are not that difficult if you study hard and preparation is good. You need only 30% to pass the total score.

Other: KIET conducts big events like KIET WINGS which is a famous event in Kakinada. They also conduct NCC camps, NSS camps and Hackathons. There are different kinds of Fest and Events organized by departments as well as by management such as Innotech, endeavour, etc.

B.Tech college life at KIET College.

Placements: Placements were good in our college. Our seniors got placed in reputable companies, and placements were provided at a good rate. In my batch, many members were also placed, and our placement guidance cell provided information about every drive and placement opportunity.

Infrastructure: I studied in this college as a day scholar. I heard from my friends, who were opposed to the hostel, that the hostels provided good beds and food for the residents. They offered hot water and also AC rooms for those who wanted them. The wardens were also there for the security of the girls.

Faculty: The schedule was based on the JNTU timetable, and the course curriculum was relevant to industry knowledge, which was useful for gaining outside knowledge. The teachers were helpful whenever we had doubts, and they were well-qualified and knowledgeable. They shared their expertise and provided a good education for us.

Other: I joined the course that was newly introduced in my college, which was Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. I chose this course because I wanted to learn AI, and it would lead to a better future in the IT industry. Events were sometimes celebrated, like festivals in my college. The campus crowd was medium, and we had sufficient space to move around. Scholarships were provided to students who had merit.
