Review of Kakinada Institute of Engineering & Technology.
Placements: A maximum number of students are placed in both mechanical and CSE branches. In the current year, many of the students chose CSE. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month. TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Infosys are the major components for all the courses but for mechanical, Tech Mahindra, TVs, etc., are the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: We have facilities and infrastructure available for our course. There are two central libraries available, and classrooms are fine and comfortable. Facilities in the hostel include quality food in the mess which is okay for survival. Sports facilities are also available but we cannot play daily after college time.
Faculty: Some teachers who have completed graduation in the same college are teaching to the students. But we also have some experienced and guest faculty members available. The pass percentage of the students is very less, and students who take interest in their studies will pass.
Other: I opted for this course because it provides a lot of practical knowledge. We can know how to operate the machines, tools, etc. KIET is a good college.

I have the worst experience of studying here. So, I suggest choosing the best college.
Placements: About 10 to 15% of the students got placements in companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc. Both B.Tech and M.Tech courses are offered. Almost 70% of the students got internships in companies like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
Infrastructure: Facilities are minimum with huge fees. Labs in our college are moderate, but the best way is to choose the right college rather than just being stuck to an abnormal college like this. Medical and sports facilities were not available here, and the quality of food in the hostel was also low.
Faculty: Students of before batches are the future faculty members here. They were helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in JNTUK are very excited.
Other: Our college has a heavy crowd.

I am not satisfied with its placements and faculty members.
Placements: Around 50% of students are placed in this college only in the CSE branch. Other branches didn't get an opportunity for getting jobs. There are no recruitment companies that visit our college in recent times in the mechanical branch. It is very difficult to get a job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and college maintenance is good with buildings and garden with good hygiene canteen, and hostel food is not up to mark. But sports and games are very particularly followed by our PT sir for getting good results. Laboratories are also good and classrooms are clean.
Faculty: The examinations are held under the guidance of JNTUK University, which offers good exam patterns, and semester exams became tough to pass. But it is very helpful for our students to study well for exams. The teaching staff is not good, and the curriculum activities are also not followed.
Other: I didn't get any placements on our core side. Not only on the core side I am unable to get in the software side also. Teaching should be improved and fests and events are not there in this college.

It us a good college to opt for.
Placements: Placements are provided in our college. Mainly CSE and ECE are hired but many students are not selected from college. This is a bad sign. There are many ways to pass exams but the interviewer is very serious. Students with no backlogs and more than 70% are eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: Food served is not good. It is very oily and tastes very bad. Labs are very good and there are has a hydraulic lab, Thermo engineering lab, etc. There are plenty of books in the library. Wi-Fi is available but it's not given to students. Our college offers many courses.
Faculty: There is no sufficient faculty and there are no qualified lectures to study yourself. It is best to learn yourself to pass in examinations. In my college, there is an industry tour held every year. There is a good pass percentage.

Kakinada institution of technology .
Placements: You need to have at least 83% percentage to get placement offers in the first place and the highest package offer would around 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest package offer would 1.8 pack per annum and a good sum of campus interview were being held.
Infrastructure: There are some labs to show off and to learn there isn't much I'm afraid. And Wi-Fi facility? nah there is no such thing, quality would be like average food services, no sports, once a year games, that's it. Actually I would like to have a sports career in my routine college base.
Faculty: Well it certainly was not that good or not that bad either it's like an above average, if you can just concentrate a little you can understand the teachers are not much of a higher quality one's though. Back in 2015, KIET was actually good and it produced good number of students.
Other: I choose mechanical engineering because I like machines and the secret behind their working. I want to know about machines and that's why selected this course, mostly labs to increase, there is no events, fest, or a campus crowd.

Review of Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The college is good at providing placements for students. The highest salary package offered for our course students is 4.5 LPA, and most of the students are selected for software jobs. Our college doesn't provide any internships to students. Many companies come to our college every year to hire many students like Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are average, and maintenance is also average. Our college provides library facilities to the students. Hostel facilities are also good, but they are not beyond our expectations. The quality of food and canteen are average. Our college provides medical facilities with a 24x7 ambulance service.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly and good at the explanation. All the faculty members provide the quality things that we needed. Students in our college are well-trained to get industry-ready. Faculty members support us in participating in extracurricular activities, which are very helpful to the students in the future for securing jobs.
Other: I have chosen the mechanical branch because it is the branch where we can learn to work with the brain and physically. The best thing about our course is the knowledge. I have improved a lot after joining the college. Events and fests are conducted in our college, which enables our creative level to the extinct. Our college provides scholarships to students who are very good at their ranks.

Our college has a good infrastructure and sports. Faculty members in our college are the worst.
Placements: About 25% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. There is nothing to share about top recruiting companies. We have to strive hard to get an internship in industries. Our college won't involve or encourage us to get an internship. Our college provides good placements in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides facilities like labs, classrooms, equipment, library, buses, etc. Quality of the food served is not bad, and the hostel is decent. Medical facilities are good. Sports and extracurricular activities conducted by the college are excellent. Sports equipment and grounds are the main attraction here.
Faculty: The final and main asset of any college is faculty members. But here the faculty members are the worst. They are not even M. Tech qualified. Maximum faculty members are our seniors and super seniors from other colleges. KIET won't make the students industry-ready because of their incapable faculty.

Do not join this college.
Placements: About 65% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.87 LPA. CSE course is about the software and programming languages.
Infrastructure: Lab maintenance and infrastructure in our college are bad. There is a common washroom on one floor. The water facility is also bad. Transport facility is also bad. Wi-Fi facility is not available. All labs are conducted in the half-day periods. The schedule to enter into the library is bad. Quality of food served is bad, and even jail food is better. It does not provide medical and sports facility.
Faculty: For mechanical course, there are nearly 4-5 faculty to teach students. They don't have the minimum knowledge regarding the subject. All students depend on all in one. Final year students will teach the classes, and for each period the college pays Rs. 100-200 for them.
