B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022
3.8
It's based on your wish and I want to say it's decent.
Placements: Nearly 500 people joined our course. The highest and lowest packages were not known properly but average package was 3.5 LPA. There were a lot of companies like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS like that, not many people in internships. Now, a lot of people were in it, and top roles freshers companies did not give.
Infrastructure: Overall college was good for those who study well as well as people who will enjoy like other engineering colleges. I want to say something, every engineering college was the same. People who study well get a job at any college, not based on college, nothing else to say.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. It depended on students how they responded to studying like top-class teachers were there. Students will get good marks, it based on our performance which was okay.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering at that time 2018 but now I think this branch is there or not, I don't know. But I recommend, CSE was good because outside all courses and jobs related to IT sector so I recommend it. CSE was good for upcoming students who were interested in engineering that's my suggestion.

This college is very good for women, fully secured for women. The campus is clean and green.
Placements: There are very few placements. Don't join here for placements. Here, there are no proper placements. For mechanical, there are no placements. In my college, very few companies are coming for recruiting and very few are coming, that too IT companies are coming, and we did not get any internships.
Infrastructure: College atmosphere and climate are awesome; they conduct fests, celebrations, celebrity meets, flash mobs, etc. Hostel is also good but a little expensive, and it's like fully protective, especially for women, and there is proper security. The security personnel have more power.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but there is no proper faculty available. It does not make students industry-ready. The way of conducting exams is strict and genuine. They don't encourage any fraud and are more helpful to students. They will each and every student and have a friendly nature.
Other: My course is one of the best courses, but in our campus, there are no placements at all. But labs are good, and many labs are there. Placements need more improvement. College surroundings are very clean and green; it is a very peaceful place. They conduct many fests and cultural activities.

Take your own risk and not value for money .
Placements: 20% of students got placement from my course but not in a core job, IT jobs were offered. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest 2.75 LPA and average package is 3.5LPA. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini recruited us. 10% of students got internships in Visakhapatnam steel plant. Role is software trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so much available in my course they don't provide high level of infrastructure there is middle level of infrastructure and the labs also have average equipment. Wi-Fi is not provided, classrooms are good. The hostel rooms are good, food was very bad, mess don't maintain well, medical facilities are okay, sports and games are well organised.
Faculty: The teachers are not good. They don't take classes at time. Few teachers are good and quality of knowledge is average. They don't give industry knowledge to student. The semester exams are quite difficult but we can manage.
Other: Because of future and scope for this course I chose this course. Best things we can learn is new technologies. Lab equipment can be improved. Events are there. Movie actors come to college, fest is also there, crowd is heavy.

Placements in our college are not satisfactory.
Placements: About 35% of students joined our course. Only one company conducted recruitment in our college, i.e., Surya Tech Solutions. It offered a salary package of 2.1 LPA. The college does not provide an internship for our branch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college looks very good. It does not provide a Wi-Fi facility. The college does not have lab assistants. The main important thing is that the library is free for students. The food served in the canteen is average. Sports facilities are good here.
Faculty: The college does not have the required number of faculty members. Faculty members teaching quality is average. In our college, our course is very poor. Semester exams are very tough. They do not teach clearly. The pass percentage of our branch is 40%.
Other: I have chosen this college only because it is near to my place than all other colleges. The college should improve the quality of teaching. It conducts fests and hackathons very well.

The college, academics and campus life are good.
Placements: The quality of placements is good for B.Tech. They provide good placement opportunities mainly in good companies. The average salary package offered is 6-7 LPA. A maximum number of students get jobs from the college. It is easy to get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is like any other college. There is a mess, hostel, open-air theater, reading room, library etc. Labs are awesome. Our college Wi-Fi is very slow, and we can't access most of the techno journals with that Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well-ventilated and air-conditioned.
Faculty: The teachers and students are very helpful. Like other colleges, our college doesn't allow a student to leave college premises during college time, but students can enjoy different events during this time within the college. Teaching is very good.
Other: In the mechanical department, most of the startups are from our alumni, and faculty members are also very supportive. Many companies have been successful in placing students.

Our college is average for study.
Placements: About 40% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered here was 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.20 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies for our course. About 50% of the students got internships from our course. Top roles are not offered in our course.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are many facilities. There are a Wi-Fi facility, labs and a library. In our college library, there are many books, and all departments' books are available in it. Very good quality food is available in the hostel. In our college, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are more helpful in our college at any time. They are qualified, knowledgeable and very talented. Students are ready to work in industries, and they get more knowledge here.
Other: I have chosen a mechanical engineering course because more companies offer jobs for mechanical engineering students. I participated in many events and fests in our college.

Our faculty members are supportive and good at teaching.
Placements: About 65% of the students got placed in various companies like Power Mech, TCS and Capgemini. The starting salary package offered ranges between 3.5-4.5 LPA. About 85% of the students completed their industrial training in various companies like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and NFCL.
Infrastructure: Our department has good equipment of labs like production technology lab, welding lab, mechanics of solids lab, fluid mechanics and hydraulic machinery lab, CAD and CAM lab and heat transfer lab. The college also provides E-classrooms and Wi-Fi facility. The college also provides good hygienic canteen, medical facilities and a huge playground.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are friendly. They always guide us in evaporating our knowledge and standards. They are well qualified with industrial work experience. Few faculty members are doctorates. The course curriculum is relevant to industrial and technical growth.
Other: I have chosen this college because it is near to Kakinada. The college also provides merit-based scholarships for entrance exam qualified students. Technical events are conducted once a year.
