B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024
1.6

It is just an average engineering college.
Placements: On-campus placements, a maximum of 5-6 students get placed with proper salary jobs. The remaining students did not get jobs and they are placed in the training course. The college keeps the photos of students for advertisement who got jobs off-campus.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is so good but just from the outside. The hostel facility is like living in the 90s time and rooms are also old type. Labs mostly in my branch are not updated. There is a Wi-Fi facility with lots of restrictions on browsing. The college is living in the 90s time period.
Faculty: In the wrong period of time, they keep internal exams. I found good teachers except for one who always targets me for bad reasons, which created the worst experience for me, so I attended few classes during the final year.
Other: Poor quality of events are organised here.

Really good infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: All the students got placed in companies, but some of them are gone for higher education. The lowest package is of 3.1LPA & the highest is 4.6Lpa. Bus facilities are also available in our college. I recommend you all to take admission here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for all the students to only learn the things from Google search. Class & lab facilities are good. Teachers are very interesting. They teach us all the things very easily and they are very much friendly.
Faculty: Teachers are very interesting. They understand all of us and are friendly. Exams conducted are very strict.

Good for knowledge gain.
Placements: I am now a third year student, finding internships while classmates are also. Outside, some colleges will provide information about internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility, labs are good, and the hostel facility is also good. Library is also the best. A bus facility is also there. Medical facility is also good for students and faculty. Good library facility so that students can learn many subjects by taking books. There is also a good environment and a good campus.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. They are helpful for gaining knowledge. Good faculty for students. They provide extra knowledge beyond the syllabus. A good environment is there. Students can learn easily without disturbance.
Other: Good college.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2017

I am absolutely satisfied. There are good faculty members and good placements.
Placements: As our college was newly started when I was joined in the year 2012, not many companies were interested in conducting placement drives. However, in the year 2016, our college invited some companies for placements like Alpha Marine, etc. They offered the merchant navy course to elected students. From KLECETCKD, they help students to attend placement drives which are conducted in their institutions located in other cities.
Infrastructure: Mechanical engineering has CAD/CAM, metrology, material testing, fluid mechanics, foundry and forging labs, which are equipped with modern machines. Lab supervisor helps us to understand the setup and procedures to perform the experiment. CAD/CAM lab is equipped with good PCs and required software. Now our college is very well developed and equipped with all types of modern infrastructure which can be required in an engineering college.
Faculty: In KLECET CKD, all the faculty members have completed their post-graduation in their respective subjects. Most of them even have a PhD degree. The curriculum makes you industry-ready, and it differs a lot. Internships should be made compulsory, and then only we can be able to gain the curriculum knowledge and industry knowledge. I feel that there should be changes in the syllabus to match with current technology.
Other: Our batch was passed out in 2017. I chose mechanical engineering because I would like to work in agencies like ISRO, NASA, etc., as it is my aim. In our college, many events and fest will be conducted. They give us the freedom to celebrate the fest whenever we want. The fee is as per the government declaration. For private seats, then management decides the fee. The government fee is now around Rs. 50,000 to 60,000 per annum.

B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2023

It is a good college for CS and E and C engineering.
Placements: I am from the 2019-2020 batch of civil engineering. The salary package offered is 1.5 LPA to 10 LPA. Byju's and TCS are major companies, and major placements are offered to E and C and CS students. For civil engineering students, placement opportunities are very few, and only 1-3 companies visit here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are good, but the hostel is average. Medical facilities are not available, but the canteen is available. Sports are not given much priority. Food quality is not that good, so students prefer outside mess. There is only 1 warden for the whole hostel building. Hot water facilities are available, which is a good thing.
Faculty: Teachers are good and friendly, and the quality of education given is also good. We write exams as per VTU. Semester exams are difficult because VTU sets the question paper. The curriculum is relevant, but sometimes it is bad. Lab facilities available are very good and in good condition.
Other: I have chosen civil engineering because I have a pre-idea about construction, etc. Even government provides scholarships. The campus is good, clean and hygienic.

I am satisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: We have 80 students of the batch, and approximately 60 students got placed. The salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top companies which visited our college are Wipro, Infosys, etc. They have provided to manage the team in a project.
Infrastructure: We have good classrooms with discipline boards and Wi-Fi. Our college has a well-built library, and we have a separate laboratory for different kinds of specialisations. We have a good quality hostel, and they provide quality food.
Faculty: All lecturers are well-knowledgeable, and they solve all queries. They also help in every step, and lecturers are PhD qualifiers. The course is highly relevant, and it makes every sense to upcoming students and to take the new admission in our college.
