Review of Kokrajhar Government College.
Placements: There is no placement for students, they have to find internships for themselves. There is no college support, and no company comes for jobs. Students passing out only have a degree, nothing else. People here are only for the degree, not for any placement or something, so don’t expect placement or internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Nearby is the railway station and bus station. There is no college hostel available, but there are private PGs which are good, though they charge extra. The food in the canteen is good, and you can get everything you want. Classrooms have digital boards, and Wi-Fi is available all over the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the number of teaching staff is very good. They help you with everything. The teachers are very qualified and have vast knowledge of the subject. The course is currently very up to date with the university, and the principal is very good.
Other: I passed out this year in April. I will miss my college, especially the fests, which were the best part of it. If you belong to a non-general or BPL category, you can get a scholarship.

I am average satisfied with my college experience so far.
Placements: There is no such thing called placements in our college. It is not a university, of course. No internship is there for us or any other individual regarding this course because it is only a normal bachelor's course and not some NIT or IIT thing, so no such thing.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are not available for our course. Classrooms are available. The library is also available. The quality of food is average. Medical facilities are not up to the mark. Sports and games rarely take place on the campus, or you can say only on special occasions.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but sometimes do not respond at all. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are from top universities and institutions. Teaching quality is also good. It doesn't make the students industry-ready at all. Semester exams are quite difficult. Pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I chose this course as I love this subject and like to know about society.

Honest review on Kokrajhar Government College .
Placements: There were no active placement campaigns, but if you did your Masters at the college, you could teach as a temporary teacher. So you could earn some experience in this way, but there were not many active job campaigns. It might have changed now as the college became a university, so there might be new opportunities now.
Infrastructure: The faculty are always trying to upgrade the facilities. The labs and instruments needed are sufficient. The college library also has a vast range of books. In the whole college, Wi-Fi is available, with every department having its own and the library having its own.
Faculty: The teachers are really good, with some being average as in most places, and they are always readily available to help in any way, even financially if needed. There are always sessional exams before the finals, which are moderately difficult. Before, the college was under a different university, but now it has become a university, so the difficulty level might spike.

Teachers were really game changes.
Placements: Ya the college did excellent in terms of placement. U think many of us got a job in or government education institutes. The highest salary is think 80 thousand per month. There was internship I did internship. Only some private educational institutes came for direct Otherwise no government institute came. Maximum of the jobs offered is for lectureship or teachership.
Infrastructure: Library was the only good thing there. I almost spent my entire period in library. Hostels are not good but as it is renowned college people adjust in the hostels. One dhaba I mean muni hotel is there for the students it will be opened till 9 pm from9 am.
Faculty: Exams were very difficult.2 of my friend failed they were care less and didn't put efforts. Teacher were and experienced they helped us to crack government jobs. Curriculum and text books were extremely important. Pass percentage was like 76%. In order to crack jobs competitive jobs you need to study by your prefer additional reference materials.
Other: It near to my village so it so that I have with my family and the institute simultaneously. I wish should solar because majority of the time We had to suffer from powercuts. There wa no scope of extra curricular activities.

Honest review of my college.
Placements: It requires at least 55%. There's only a 2% chance of getting a job with any company at this college. Only 1/2% chances are there for company recruitment. Actually, the college doesn't provide any internship because the course only makes you industry-ready for the next stage (M.A. English Literature) and CTET, TET, and NET. We can avail of a Master's job after completing M.A. and TET.
Infrastructure: We had good facilities, for example, a library with Wi-Fi connection, a projector room, a conference hall, and my favorite, the boys' common room with table tennis. I didn't stay at the hostel, so I can't elaborate properly, but I heard that they have good facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. Actually, they help a lot with examinations and, plus, their friendly behavior towards their students. The course is curriculum-relevant because we can enhance our knowledge of literature and increase our exposure to it. The semester exams aren't tough, but COVID-19 made it a bit tough because it messed up the schedule of the monthly exam dates.

Other: In my school days, I just loved English literature and was eager to know about the novel writers, so I chose it. The events at college are good; some local celebrity singers perform, which is enjoyable, and sports like volleyball and football are also enjoyable. The quiz competitions, etc., are also good.

There is not cut off for msc admissions in Kokrajhar Government College. The admission is done on Merit basis and seat availablility.
