B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2016
1.2
There is nothing good about the college.
Placements: None of the students got placed in college. A company visited the campus, but it was recruiting a BPO. Other than that there were no other companies which were interested in hiring students from here because of the reputation of the college. They could have done better.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college were below average. There was greenery outside. Lab sessions were purely mechanical. You'll never understand what is going on because it is meant to be that way.
Faculty: Teachers focused more on punishing bad students rather than improving the quality of knowledge imparted. There was only one professor who was an IITian whom I respected the most because of his quality of teaching. He wasn't bothered about anything other than what he wanted to convey to the class. Teaching things practically needs an amount of patience with students, which was absent, and I could feel it throughout the years of practicals.
Other: Fests held were boring.

Our college has good faculty, good infrastructure and facilities. Events and sports are fun here.
Placements: About 55% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 3-3.5 LPA. About 70% of the students from our course got an internship. Due to COVID, the recruitment process was stopped, but college authorities recommend internships or online courses. Top roles, like software developer and tester, are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs for practical, internet lab, classrooms, a library with a wide variety of books and an online library with books and magazines. Sports and games events are organised by students and supported by the college. Quality of food served to the students is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable about their subjects. Their teaching quality is good. PPTs are used for better understanding of the topic. The maximum amount of syllabus is covered. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I had an interest in the computer and technology field. A programming language, making websites and learning new things are the best things about this field. Our college should provide more practical knowledge for students to improve this course.

KGCE-2017 Batch. Good Facutly. Great Activities. Poor Canteen.
Placements: The placements are quite less as compared to other colleges. The percentage of students placed during college curriculum was not much. Around 20-30% students got placed. Average salary offered was around 15k/month. Companies that visited the campus were Ugam, CMSS, CMS IT Solutions. Although on campus drive was a drawback, the placement cell provides lot of opportunities through Pool Campus Drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is just above par. All the basic necessities are made available. As well as the systems being used are meeting the requirements of the course. Sports is a major upvote in the college. College canteen does not meet the basic standards of food quality, which is nullified by a private canteen that runs parallely with better food quality.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, only if you co operate with them during the curriculum. Teaching methods used were not modernized except for some of the faculty members who delivered audio visual lectures. The student to faculty ratio (1:60) is comparatively better.
Other: Events are co ordinated pretty well by the council. TechFest : HyperKube Cultural : Spring Fiesta Sports (Athletics, Football, Kabaddi, KhoKho, Cricket, Indoor, Volleyball). Campus crowd includes a lot of Maharashtrians, although there are students of other communities as well.

Infrastructure is very good and need placements for all the branches.
Placements: There are no placements except few third-party consultancies recruitment during our batch. One should not expect when it comes to placements at K.G.C.E. And, same was the situation of past 3year senior batches. Profound Consultancy offered jobs to 3-4 students from 2016 batch as a Java developer with below 15k per month salary.
Infrastructure: Cyber Cafe is awesome which is located at the entrance of the college. Labs are well organised with all PCs but no A/Cs at all. The infrastructure is overall good. Classrooms are very spacious. The cafeteria is average with average quality of food, misal pav is awesome. The library is well maintained with all kinds of books available but also need to upgrade to the new edition books.
Faculty: For IT branch, the faculty are average, but few of them are very good and helpful too. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. They used to teach only theoretical syllabus, no industry exposure and practicals as well. The course syllabus is never completed, only 70% is covered by the faculty and rest were on our own.
Other: You will find 80% of the crowd of Maharashtrians. Every year, we used to celebrate Spring Fiesta and Hypercube. Spring Fiesta is annual sports event and Hypercube is a cultural fest. The college is located about 3km from Karjat station.

Good for students having average academics.
Placements: You will not get the placement from the college. Hardly some small scale companies come, most of which are institute asking us to join their classes. The TPO management is not so good as sometimes they provide non-branch related vacancies. Sometimes, they don't check about the company profile and allow them for the drive. Then they understand that the particular company was fake.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and the college is improving campus area. The students have a good playground, and the canteen is fine but do not expect many food items. Festivals are good in the college, and the rainy season has a wonderful environment. The college has good classrooms, and the college auditorium hall is the best and nicely maintained. The college is focusing on infrastructure development. Students can also park their vehicles in the campus as a parking facility is available.
Faculty: The faculty team has average knowledge in the college. Some of the professors do not know what they are teaching. Do not expect you will get practical knowledge. Mostly labs are assigned to bank MH-CIT exams. Some batches have better and knowledgeable teachers. Industrial visit plans are there for BE students but, it is actually a holiday plan.
Other: The college has bus facilities from Karjat station. The college is at Karjat but better than the colleges which come in Kalyan to Bhivpuri Road. It has good places that can be visited. If you have less than 12 or diploma academics score, you can join here. The hostel facilities are the worst so it is better to look for a PG. A convocation ceremony was held but normally, no event is kept and the college doesn't provide a robe as well.

Good faculty, low attendance requirements, poor placements, good infrastructure, not worth the money.
Placements: The placement in the college is very low actually. Companies do come but offer very meagre salary( Rs.10,000-Rs.12,000). The maximum salary offered was around Rs.25000 and the average salary was around Rs.15,000. The companies that visited the campus are all small-scale based. Infosys, TCS, Accenture etc have never visited the college. The college does not provide any internship to the students.
Infrastructure: The quality of the labs and classroom is good. The classrooms are spacious, and each lab can accommodate around 40 students. The canteen provides only vegetarian food and I would rate it 3 out of 5. The college has Wi-Fi and also a cyber-cafe for the students, free of cost. I never faced any infrastructure-related issues during my tenure.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They make sure that the concepts are clarified for each student. Teaching methods: PPTs and reference books of renowned authors are used. There was no industry exposure till date. The course curriculum has always been useful. The college is trying to make students get exposed to the industry.
Other: You don't need to fulfill the 75% attendance criteria here. It is okay if you maintain 50% attendance also. You just have to maintain the practical attendance. The good thing is that you can leave the classrooms whenever you want. Even faculty members won't shout if you are bored and you don't want to attend the class. The college has a cultural fest and sports every year.

Infrastructure: All Classrooms are well and good faculty members are well educated Sports are organised very nicely Canteen are hygeinec And well There are music room gym room and sports center in the college Department carries well pcs and Wi-Fi availability Quality of food available in canteen is well n good.
Faculty: Faculty is too good and helpful and well educated Course is really good Semester exams are through tough but if you do your study well it will be well n good to clear all exams Passing percentage is 40 percentage In each paper Soo do study thankyou .
