KCT Coimbatore: Admission 2026, Courses, Fees, Placement, Ranking

Kumaraguru College of Technology considers TANCET scores for admission to MBA and MCA programmes. Besides TANCET, aspirants must also have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidates who are allotted seat in the college based on their TANCET score have to pay the course fee to confirm their seat.

The total tuition fee for the MBA course ranges from ₹ 4.9 L - 7.4 L for different MBA specialisations. Among all the branches, the highest tutition fee is for the MBA (Project Management) branch, with the fee of INR 7.40 Lakh. 

On the other hand, the lowest tutition fee at INR 4.90 Lakh is for the MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management branch.

TNEA counselling session generally held in three batches on the basis of rank list released by TNEA. The dates of TNEA counselling session has not been announced yet. However, students can refer these tentative dates for preparation:

• Round 1 counselling session - July 20 to 24, 2026
• Round 2 counselling session - August 3 to 7, 2026
• Round 3 counselling session - August 17 to 21st, 2026

These dates includes choice filling and tentative allotments.

According to eligibility criteria of KCT BTech admissions, students who have passed Class 12 with aggregate 45% in PCM stream are eligible for admissions. However, the admission is conducted in two ways i.e. through management quota and government quota and the eligibility for both are different. Students who are from Tamil Nadu will apply through government quota and students from other state will apply through management quota.

KCT, Coimbatore provides 69 seats for BTech Biotechnology students. These are divided into management quotas and government quotas. If you are a Tamil Nadu student you will get a seat through government quota, and if you are from other states, the seat will be allotted through management quota. Students need to follow the respective admission procedure to get a seat. 

There are total 129 seats available at KCT, Coimbatore for BTech Information Technology. The seats are divided in management quota and government quota. Students who are from Tamil Nadu can apply for BTech in IT from government quota. 

Aspirants who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate can apply for the MCA programme at Kumaraguru College of Technology. Besides, aspirants must also have a valid score in TANCET for admission. Candidates must have documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
