LN Mishra Patna honest review.

Placements: The placement scenario at LN Mishra is not great, but compared to other colleges in Patna, it is quite good. The average package is 3 to 4 LPA, while the highest goes to 12 to 15 LPA. Generally, a good student can secure a 6 LPA package, which is decent for freshers. Some students remain unemployed, but some manage to find off-campus placements, so it's beneficial to be skilled in coding.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good. It has a small campus, but all the facilities provided are excellent. Each classroom has three ACs and 8 to 10 fans, which is fantastic. However, a downside is that there is no playground. There are two canteens, which are good, and the college has labs and a library with all necessary facilities. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful. Most are good, though some can be very strict. All teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and they prepare you with market-ready content. The college organizes industrial visits to provide practical corporate world knowledge. Semester exams are easy to medium in difficulty, and you can pass them with 40% marks.

Other: I chose BCA here, and I think the computer lab is quite good. You will love it. However, I think they should update some of the syllabus according to current market requirements. Many fests and cultural activities are organized, and sports days also happen.

Overall, the best college of Bihar.

Placements: 90% of students are placed in the management branch and 60% of BCA students are placed and the average package is around 4-5 lacs, and the highest package is 15 lacs, which is good. It's one of the best colleges in Bihar and all good companies are recruiting.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure are really good all classes have digital board and labs are highly advanced. All rooms have fans and AC and the rooms are clean and maintained every day. The infrastructure is really good; 6,000 books are available in library and the sitting chairs are really good .

Faculty: It's totally worth the money because all teachers are well qualified, their levels are good and for each subject, 2-3 faculty members are available. The semester is tougher than at other colleges because students have to study hard to get good marks in the semester exam.

Other: You have to maintain rules and regulations that are strict overall.

A good choice for doing BCA.

Placements: I am a student of the BCA 2021-2024 batch. During my batch, none of the students got placed in any company. Since no company in the year 2024 visited the college for BCA students, there are no lowest, average, or highest packages. In the last semester, students have to do a major project. So, almost all of the students got internships and completed their projects.

Infrastructure: If I talk about the college infrastructure, then it is quite good. Classrooms have AC and smartboards. Wi-Fi facilities are available for all students. Computer labs have newly upgraded computer systems with the latest features and facilities, making it the perfect environment for learning. The library has a very large collection of books. You can take the books home after issuing them, or you can read them at the library as well. There are no college hostel facilities, but the college does have a cafeteria and canteen where major food/snack items are available at normal costs. The college also conducts sports activities.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and very knowledgeable. Most of the teachers hold Ph.D. degrees. The quality of teaching here is quite good. Teachers support the students in every possible way. The course curriculum is the latest as per industry requirements. If the students properly focus on the course and curriculum, then there is almost a 95% chance of getting a job. Semester exams are of medium level, and the passing percentage was about 40%, as told by the teachers.

Other: I chose BCA because of my deep passion for technology and the endless opportunities it offers in today's digital world. Although the course was good, if there was more focus on problem-solving concepts, it would be great. The college conducts fresher, farewell, and various other programs. The college is located at a very prime location in Patna, and the connectivity is also good. Students of this college do get scholarships through various government schemes like the Post Matric Scholarship and Mukhyamantri Kanya Uthaan Yojana.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Our course students do not have scope for placements in our college but seniors are helping students to get internships in big MNCs like Microsoft and Wipro. Students get off-campus placements with average salary packages of 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel is available for girls. The library is very good with a very large collection of books and supportive staff members. Labs have good facilities and computers. There are 6 labs. The lab's work is in progress for technical students.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very impressive. It teaches everything required for the industry. Teachers are very helpful in projects and many other life-related problems.

Other: I chose BCA because it gives career opportunities in the development field which is growing nowadays. It has good scope in the future as many things are going to be based on computers in the future. BCA students should have a coding competition on the Indian level. Our college has many cultural events like the alumni meet which is organised by LAAP. It is the alumni association of LNMI which helps students in getting placements. The college organises sports and promotes extracurricular activities periodically.

Placements: I'm from Bachelors Of Computer Application that is BCA. No companies were hiring for BCA in 2024. In my session 2021-2024 in the final semester, almost all students got internships. They made projects during internships at many companies like South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and Indian Oil, etc.

Infrastructure: There is a dedicated block for technical department under which BCA and MCA courses come. The college has good-speed Wi-Fi all over campus. There are well-maintained and up-to-date computer systems. There is a big library with large collections of books. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards and are air-conditioned. There are no hostel facilities in our college but college has a canteen and cafeteria.

Faculty: Professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them have Ph.D. degrees. The teaching quality is quite good. Course curriculum is relevant and up to the industrial and the latest market needs. Course makes students industry-ready. Since the college is autonomous, semester exams are conducted in the college only and the level of question paper is above moderate. Passing percentage in the semester exams is above 90%.

Other: I chose BCA course because I'm very interested in the computer field and technology. This course provides a strong foundation in computer and software development. The college organizes fresher party for newcomers and farewell party for the passing students. Annual day is celebrated every year as the foundation day of college. College is located in a prime location in Patna.
