B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.0
Faculty members are good, but less placements are totally good.
Placements: Less people in civil batch are placed in our college. Less amount of companies are in our college. We got internships in government office. Many of them got internships. Courses are good but I think 2024 scheme is better than our scheme. Totally good roles are played.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of course is very fantastic. Classroom has projectors. Canteen is very good, they provide nice food for all. It is in very good condition. Sports are provided. Medical facilities are less compared to other colleges. Labs are not good and are not maintained well.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly good. Exams are conducted by KTU. All are good going. Faculty members are mostly friendly. Teachers are not helping. Exams are very tough in our college. Teachers are mostly qualified. Teaching quality is poor. College has good pass percentage.

Somewhat dissatisfied about the faculty members.
Placements: 85% of the students were placed during the placement drive. Many top companies approached the institute and the students were given their chances to attend the interviews and many of them got placed. Top construction companies were there like the l and t company.
Infrastructure: The facilities were moderate and new buildings was established during that time. The Wi-Fi connection is too poor as the college was located in a low elevation and in the ground floors the students can't even take call due to bad connection. The classroom and library facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are just average, the have a clear idea about the subjects but sometimes they fails to make us understand those subjects. Course curriculum was relevant. Some subjects was difficult to attend and the evaluation was somewhat not liberal. Pass percentage was 88%.. .
Other: Civil was basically an easy subject compared to the other engineering courses. It is an interacting course as we learn the practical cases very detailed.

I would give this college a 9.5 out of 10.
Placements: The placements are amazing. Almost 90% of students were placed, mostly in companies such as Wipro, Infosys, and Technopark. Most students were placed with good pay and benefits. Make sure to sign up for as many internships as possible because they can help you get good placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and labs need a little more improvement in my opinion. Otherwise this college is awesome. The hostel facilities are great. We have a canteen, a juice stall, and a bookstore. The labs are quite good but lack good equipment. The hostel food is great, and they provide freshly prepared food both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available.
Faculty: The faculty is so supportive and encouraging. They give extra care for subjects you need special help in. The curriculum is based on APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and it is good. Regular test papers and self-assessment are conducted to check on our studies.
Other: A new course has been started in college, B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering. This is greatly anticipated, and many students are looking forward to it. It is going to be great for placements too.

Excellent academic environment and average campus exposure.
Placements: Around 50-60 students get placed on and off campus. The total strength would be around 350. The highest package offered is 15 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. The placement companies usually prefer Computer Science and IT over Civil. The placement rate in the Civil department is relatively low (2 students, usually ones joining B.Tech after a Diploma). Top recruiting companies include Accenture and Microsoft. Most students completed internships.
Infrastructure: The overall facilities are okay. In the college hostels, there are 4 floors, of which 2 are occupied by the smart lab which students can use 24/7. The mess food and canteen food are relatively better compared to other colleges and the fee is also quite on the low side, but for the first 2 years you will be in mini dorms which have a capacity of 6-14 sharing. Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: Semester exams are fairly average and one of the strongest points of the college is its academic achievements. The college consistently ranks 1st and 2nd position in terms of academics. Teachers are competent, the KTU 2024 scheme is fairly relevant to industry, but there are many shortcomings, including activity points (mandatory for credit) and the year-back system.
Other: The worst features about the campus are its campus life, events, etc. The overall energy and connectivity are kind of doomed, and if you really want to stand out, you should take initiative yourself and participate in as many programmes as possible. The college is equipped with almost 34 clubs, including sports, technical societies, and hobby clubs.

No, you will not get in state merit, if you have reservation then you might have a chance. And also SM allotment is already over.
