Candidate passed with mentioned aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the Master's Degree with (Tourism or Hotel Management or Management or Anthropology or Sociology or Psychology or other relevant branches of Social Sciences) or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree with (Tourism or Hotel Management or Management or Anthropology or Sociology or Psychology or other relevant branches of Social Sciences) or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible.
If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible.A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC or ST or OBC (non-creamy layer) or Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
Candidates completed 4-years/8-semesters graduation/bachelor's degree with 75% aggregate marks from any recognized institute/university are eligible to apply. If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible.
